Kinoc was in charge of the crusaders so he commanded them on the field. He also acted the double agent his true loyalties were to Yevon so considering that loads of crusaders joined Yevon and that the Al Bhed were hated even more now. So since Kinoc commanded them he had to pull the strings.

I know. Boco is indeed the name of his chocobo and Wasn't it so obvious about Faris? any way thats off topic. Boco is also the default name for the chocobo in FF8

I bred several.
I had my favourites which I took to the races...almost ALWAYS won.
If it wasn't for the super black chocobo guy I'd have ruled the place.
