The buckler struck the poor little guy head on, cleaving off his main weapon, but leaving the shell intact. A loud buzzing sound would fill the air that was oddly reminiscent of a missile lock, the drone drifting back several feet.

The light building within Jason's eyes was refocused and the ocular implants focused a great deal of Jason's bioelectric field into a powerful blast that would have seared the flesh from his bones if not for other enhancements. The laser tore through the air and split the corner of the building in two, the center of the beam just a few inches to one side of where Fiona was last locked.

Fiona heard something that kind of resembled a missile lock...

WOAH DAMN!

Fiona hit the jets hard, about a second before Jason fired his big cycloptic laser type thing and she was moved far enough away to not take the hit, but get thrown hella hard by the resulting explosion of a building being destroyed. Throw all the way across the street and over the second building she had gotten on with her activated jets not helping, one thought crossed her mind.

F*ck

Fiona after about two seconds of fast air-time stabilized herself and rotated her jets to slow herself to a stop on top of a building a block away. Since she was so far away from the Jason now, and saw this as a new opportunity, she pulled the sniper rifle back out and pulled it up into firing position, but not looking through the scope. She began to strafe towards one side of the building.

The drone was able to follow Fiona's flight path in order to give a general direction and feed it back to Jason, but was unable to follow at the speed required to maintain a visual. With its systems slowly being repaired it followed her last known path, relaying information back to Jason. The Wizard, meanwhile, was on the move again, pulling his pistol from his holster as he began to move. His free hand fiddled with his belt to slip free another bioelectric cell as he ran to catch up with drone.

Fiona merely strafed left and right, attempting to avoid another building-shattering laser beam. The sniper rifle was always in firing position as she strafed, however she did not lock through the scope, opting to rely on her own sight to see the drone, as she expected it was still alive.

I want my buckler back...

The drone floated through the air, slowly repairing itself as it began to run sensor sweeps of the area. Thermals and normal vision were the main on the list, as they were the first to become fully operational once more. Soon bioelectric readings would be possible...unless the damn thing got shot again. Even as the second cell revitalized his mechanical systems he contemplated utilizing a third. He did his best to keep to the shadows, not using his cloak but still trying to stay hidden until his drone could find Fiona.
