Another student was excited about catching a mini. A Fire fox mini. Trisha's face lit up with glee. "Yay! You have a foxfire! Yes catch them all." Trisha offered a hand out for a high five, certainly excited that Shiki was excited. "You can be the foxfire master."

Why was the Dormouse ghoul in the dreaded Creepteria? A horror of bad food, that might also try to eat you? Well, anybody who knew Camilla well enough knew she loved Minipets, and she just happened to find a flier for a new eyePhone game laying on the ground. Despite her dislike for the creepteria, Camilla decided she should check the game out! She mostly used her eyePhone to keep up to date with news and as a note pad; having a game to play on it would be nice!

Walking in, she immediately notices a booth with a slightly familiar bull like ghoul behind it "Hi!" she chirps cheerfully as she bounces over to the booth! The friendly ghoul soon explains what Camilla needed to do to get the game and explained it was still in testing. Nodding, Camilla pulls out her phone and after searching the game and putting in the code, gets a screen asking her a bunch of questions! Ooo! She knew this format! This was like Minismon!

"Are you a boy or girl?" "Girl." she answers with a laugh. 'Username?" Camilla thought on it for a moment then grins and types in "TeaMouse." Finally it got to the character customization bit. It wasn't much, but the Dormouse ghoul felt she made a good enough avatar to represent her. She smiles gleefully as she was given the Minidex and laughs at the classic line as the three starters were presented!

Which to choose, which to choose... She actually had real life Batling pets, so she knew they were good. She had been becoming more fond of cats due to the few cat minis she had... And the ghost dog was cute... But... She'd go with a tried and true! the Batling!

Oh? She had to actually catch it? That was new.

After reading up on the mechanics a bit, Camilla put her finger on the screen and flicked her finger. This caused the ball to go flying and bounce off the minipet's head! "Ooo!" She squeaks as the mini was sucked into the ball and left wiggling on the ground! In minismon, this was a crucial moment! Holding her breath, the Dormouse ghoul watched as it wiggled once, twice, then boom! it pops open revealing the Batling! "Aw..." she says with a bit of a pout as the virtual Batling looked at her cautiously.

She'd have to try again!

Trying again, Camilla repeated what she did the first time. Carefully, she touches the screen and flicks her finger forwards sending the ball flying in the process. Once again the ball bounced off the mini's head and sucked it in! It rocked once before popping open again! "Aww... She pouts as it rocked even less then last time... Least she had unlimited balls...

She'd try once more before resorting to using a candy.

Once again, she repeats the process she used the first two times. This time, the Mini popped out instantly looking more wary of her then before... "Aw... Guess I have to use a candy... This mini is being stubborn!" she says with a bit of a pout before getting a more determined expression!

It took a bit of menu messing to figure out how to give the wary mini a candy, but after enough random button pushing, she managed to toss a Fear candy at the minipet! The virtual mini sniffs the candy warily before finally going over and nibbling at it! "Yay! Now to catch it!" the Dormouse ghoul cheers before pulling up the catch screen again!

(Wow... My luck with this game... XD)

Despite being distracted by the candy, the moment the Mini saw the Fear Capsule coming it's way it dodges the ball and looked as if it was about to flee! "Oh! No no, don't fl- Oh." She says quickly only to pause mid sentence. It looked as if it was going to flee, but stops and looks warily at her again. It was then Camilla remembered the starter couldn't flee. "Mmm... This starter is being tricky..." She mumbles to herself...

Carlos came often to the creepateria. It was a good place with lots of taste treats. Mind, he didn't actually need to eat but, food was food.

It also occasionally allowed the cat to meet up with friends and enjoy their company. Like today when he spotted his best friend, playing on a small square box. She was not paying attention. So Carlos decided to go sneak up on his friend, pouncing her at the last possible moment. "Camilla, what are you doing?"

Camilla was just about to throw another ball, when she felt 8 claws dig into her back! Jumping slightly at the Cheshire Cat boil's sudden appearance, Camilla smiles cheerfully at her friend! She also made a mental note not to play this game if there were predators around; too distracting. "Carlos!" she chirps cheerfully as she lowers the phone only to hold it up again and waggle it in front of him a bit! "Heh, I'm playing a new eyePhone game called Minis Go!" she explains happily.

"You catch virtual minis and fill up your minis dex." she explains further to the cat boil as her tail sways happily. It had been a while since she'd seen her friend, so this was a pleasant surprise!

"Catch catch?" Carlos's eyes widened and then stilted up in excitement as he glanced around searching for these minis to catch. "I don't see nothing to catch." he let out a small whine.

The strange little box got little notice. It didn't smell like a delicious mini. He has seen playing of creeple play on other boxes, so it was no new thing, but it held no interest to him.

"I want to catch." he announced.

Giggling a bit at her friend's confusion, Camilla holds up her phone again. "Heh, Carlos, they aren't real minis; they're virtual." she explains before pausing to try and think how to explain them. "it's a game you play on your phone. Like... A movie or tv show you can play..." she explains but frowns at how vague that still was... It was hard trying to explain what a video game was to someone...

His announcement that he wanted to "catch" made her smile again. "Heh, ok, maybe you could help me catch my starter!" she laughs before holding the phone closer to him. "Just put your finger, er... claw?, on the screen and flick forwards!" she explains

Not real minis? That sounded boring. he stared at the box she was waving, trying to figure it out. Was it like a riddle? Or like a longer book?

He put a paw onto the phone and then sloop. The ball hit the minimon. a moment later the ball rocked and clicked shut. Carlos squinted at it. This did not seem at all like catching to him. He put his tongue on the box to see if he could taste anything. Nope no taste. Just kind of a metallic flavor.

"No mini to eat." he pouted puffing his cheeks out. It said he caught but he no eat. How upsetting.

Freaken one shoted it. ok then Carlos.

Camilla watched as her friend touches the screen and throws the ball, only to have it click shut moments later! For a long moment Camilla just stared at her phone in disbelief... It wasn't until the Cheshire Cat boil licked said phone that she snaps out of it. "H-how did you do that?!" she asks in surprise as she casually wipes off the cat spit from her phone with a handkerchief from her pocket.

Explanations on how he did that would have to wait till later as her friend seemed a bit put out he didn't get to eat what he caught... Smiling a bit, and laughing awkwardly, Camilla nods. "Heh... the minis in this game only exist in the phone... They, ah... live there! Yes, and you can't eat them through the phone." she explains with a knowledgeable nod.

Of course! He has cat luck! Nuff said. *nods* I wonder if he has any Maneki Neko in his genes somewhere! XD

Oh." Carlos said with a disappointed look. He was clearly still upset over not getting the eat the mini, far more than being excited for the caught mini.

"Ok." Carlos didn't see the point at all. Not at all. Instead he turned to the creepateria food. That was a lot more interesting than the box. No explanation ever came to how he did that. Carlos needed none.

"I'm hungry, I'm going to go eat now. Have fun catching the not foods."

He might! Too bad Carlos has no interest in something he can't eat. XD

Frowning over her friends disappointment, Camilla shakes her head as the Cheshire Cat boil announces he was going to go eat and walks off... Ah the simple life of a cat... "Thanks..." she says with a small wave as he leaves.

Finally, she returns her attention back to her phone. She now had the option of naming the Mini, but didn't know what to name it. Deciding she'd name it some other time, Camilla felt confused as to what to do next... In the Minimon games, she now be going on some grand adventure to catch minimon, battle villains, and be the best minimon trainer she could be! Here? Was he just supposed to catch Minis and fill the dex? She never had been that good at that aspect of the game...

Maybe she could battle someone with her new Batling?

It took ten minutes of menu searching before the Dormouse ghoul finally gave up in frustration and looked to the bull ghoul. "Um, excuse me? Is there any way to battle our Minis?" She asks politely as she waves her phone a bit.

Ah cat life; eat, sleep, play, and get pettings, simple yet enjoyable. XD Camilla is starting to wonder how virtual pets are better then the real minipets, lol. Carlos made her think about it! XD
