Thankful that the next teacher was doing things properly - no schoolwork! no embarrassing stuff! no getting hit, just games! - Kwasi eagerly picked a cup, not even caring that much at the incorrect guess. He even remembered to thank the teacher before leaving the classroom, spirits rising again.

The next teacher clearly wasn't in the spirit of things, and Kwasi took a candy while being watched by a few minis, and left, feeling a bit put out. If you didn't care, why'd you leave your door open? He guessed that maybe this event was mandatory for staff. It kind of felt like a few of them were deliberately making things weird.

There were less students now, although Kwasi barely noticed. It seemed that only a few dedicated ones were going the full haul, and he didn't blame them. Honestly, he was just completing the circuit because one, he had nothing better to be doing, and two, candy. However he obligingly gave a yell to the next teacher, and startled himself at how loud he managed to get. That was neat!

Leaving the main school building with the rest of the dedicated trick or treaters, Kwasi had to backtrack a distance after the teacher informed him of the mandatory tie. Hesitating a few minutes as to /how/ to put it on with his current costume, he ended up using it as an odd sash around his waist. Now he was business casual sleep-time bed ghost. Or whatever. Taking the bottle in his spare hand, and realizing too late that he should have worn shoes, Kwasi picked his way painfully into the woods.

Hampered by the shirt pulled up over his head, Kwasi walked into a few trees - but he was at the point where turning back was pretty much unthinkable. He had candy to collect, jack damn it!

Finally, breathing heavily, Kwasi arrived back out of the forest with the shadow in the jar. Petting a shadow beast? No problem. Trying to not step on every sharp pointy thing there and back? Slightly harder. Taking his final candy, Kwasi wobbled back to his dorm room for a shower, then much candy consuming. All in all, he felt that he had thoroughly earned it.
