~You're not good~
~You're not bad~
~You're just nice~
It's the last midnight SoA name: Haumaru Gender: Female Lion Lines: New, not Updated Personality: Hau has been with the Pride for quite a while, since running away from the Suka'fumo with fear in her heart, she was terrified that it might one day come back to bite her. There is still that measure of terror that haunts her every step, a caution that seems to belie the hatred that many of her kin have for the entertainers. Hau herself is just tired of fighting. She's seen nothing but strife most of her life, and sees no point in losing more lives over the fights. While yes, she wants the king off his throne, and the lions of the Suka'fumo free to live equally, she wishes there was a way to do it with no bloodshed... History: Haumaru was born into the S'F as a less than desirable cub to her mother. There was something to be said, when your brothers and sisters were better suited to her ambitions. Through a great portion of her young life, she was made to serve the other little ones. To look after their every beck and call, to ensure that they were happy...but it couldn't last. When one of her brothers got a little to hard pawed in their adolescence, Hau ran. She let her legs carry her, because the pain of what she'd been through had terrified her. It was the Ujini that found her, barely stepping into adulthood, and running.
A lioness took her in, a careful, kind paw starting to guide her thoughts, making it much easier for Hau to hate the world from which she'd come. She was told of the horrors that others had faced, how it was all the fault of the leadership...how they all needed to die....In her youth, Hau believed them.
She spent a great portion of her life hating the Suka'fumo, hating who they were, what they stood for, and most of all, their stupid caste system. With age comes experience, though, and as the years have whiled away, and Haumaru has begun to slow down, she finds herself....ready for it to be over. Ready for it to simply be a thing of the past.

I'm what no one believes Name: Rasleen Meaning: Absorbed in the Lord Personality: Born in the Suka pride, she was one of the only to survive in her litter. Her parents were treated as slaves, and she was expected to be the same; as an adolescent she was deathly obedient. Whatever someone said, she would follow, but that changed when her sister, her twin, died under suspicious circumstances. This even fuelled her parents to flee the pride and took her, their last child, with them. Under the guidance of those in the Ujini’Haragi, Binti (Swahili// Daughter) took a new name, Rasleen. She became bold and loud. Her peaceful, subservient way was long gone and she was, instead, a warrior. When her parents died, without ever seeing their homelands (where the Suka’fumo pride was wasting the resources of the land), her anger grew. She took up training the youth of the pride, sharing stories of the horrors she had suffered and trying to build their army. Her personality has morphed into pure fury. Without her anger, she has nothing. Her hatred for the Suka'fumo has been her whole life.

You wish to have the curse reversed? Name: Lilitu Meaning: Sumarian name that means of the night Prompt Response: For years she had watched them from the protective shade of the forests, her eyes staring out at those around her. How they frolicked amongst themselves, not seeming to notice or care how they harmed those who they deemed less. It was sickening to her and it was why she had left, yes she had purple in her pelt but she had still hated how she was treated. If she had been born a male, thing would have been different, but she had been born female meaning she was not seen in equal light.
That would change though, very soon. Through whispers that reached her ears from the pride there was to be a celebration for the new king, but the pride was restless. They did not seem to approve of Bwana, nor did they approve of his mate. There was dissention in the ranks, something the Suka’Fumo could not afford to let happen when their enemies lurked unseen near them.
Lilitu licked her chops as she padded away from the edge of the forest and back into the depths. There was planning to be done, planning for an attack upon them. It was time to attack, attack when the pride was at its weakest. Striking now, Lilitu knew they could achieve their goal of ending the reign of Bwana’s family, end the unjust ruling of the Suka’Fumo. She could not help but smirk at the thought of crushing the windpipes of the lions how had wronged her so long ago.
You're all liars and theives Name: Maxim Meaning: Latin for greatest rival Personality: Proud of his talents as well as himself, Maxim was not happy living in with the Suka’Fumo as just a hunter and never be able to raise his rank. Prideful to a point of being conceited, Maxim does not acknowledge his faults and ignores them if someone brings them up. He knows he is strong, fast and intelligent.
Maxim does not follow rules very well, which caused problems when he lived within the Suka’Fumo. He was punished many times for speaking up when he was being spoken to by a noble, or even attacking one. It was after he attacked a noble lion that Maxim ran away to save his life.
He abhors the Suka’Fumo and their way of life and he doesn’t hesitate to attack any of them that stray too near their pride. He doesn’t seem to mind the groundlings as much, though he does hate that they are a part of the pride.
Maxim does have some good qualities as well, he can be caring, when you get past his pride and he does care about those that work with him. He is also very protective over the cubs and young lions that he is currently teaching.

You're all liars and theives Name: Inteus Meaning: Has no shame (Native-American biggrin ) Personality: Inteus never believed in giving second chances. If one was to betray his trust the first time, why would he be foolish enough to give them another opportunity to stab him in the back? He is calculating, often finding himself playing an elaborate game with those around him while using them to his advantage as pawns. His trust is hard to acquire and because of it, he is often seen as a loner or aloof when confronted one on one. He will always choose the path that benefits him over the greater of the pack, and because of this he was more than willing to assist in training those for war. He will exploit any weakness found amongst his kin, be it friend or foe, and has little time to dream of a silly concept where peace resides across the other prides. Those easily manipulated or naive should beware Inteus, for he is often found speaking with a silver tongue that promises the world to their heart's pleasure. After all, those who adore you, love you and think you care for them and will gladly throw their lives for you....even though they do not realize he would never do the same. Inteus has no shame and will walk away if a companion has fallen to danger, more so if death is inevitable; in his world, he is the only one to worry about. This does not mean he doesn't work well within a Pride, and sense Ujini'Haragi are the enemies to his previous tribe, he has come to 'love' them; or as best as he can manage. Inteus has no want or desire to be a leader or even noble rank. The idea bores him and seems too dull. Instead, he loves the idea of training and teaching the warriors to fight, though his training tactics have been often called unorthodox. He is a warrior, a fighter, and a planner. Because of this, he is most content when there is war to be had and his mind is more focused on trying to outsmart the enemy then any other scenario.
If one dares to mention the Suka'Fumo around him, Inteus becomes almost irrational with rage and anger; rather shocking considering his normally calm exterior. Whatever happened in his past, he never speaks about...though because of his blue and white pelt it is evident that he was not a favorite among their society. His anger is even more so with the announcement not of the new king but of his non-purple mate. Why did he have to suffer because of his coloration and she become queen? No, the past can never be forgiven and Inteus is now only looking to secure his own future...right after he kills every last Suka'Fumo lion he can get his claws upon.
