[Event] The Hunter's Moon (RP Dice Game)

Her entire body grinded to halt at the plea of her daughter, she turned to glance at her and the prancing actions only to be greeted with a certain surprise. With little time to react she whipped herself around and leaped at the rabbit, unfortunately for her the display of her prowess was weakened by her sudden collapse to the ground in a very unladylike fashion. The whole moment struck the older wild dog as amusing and a slow, steadily growing laugh began to boom from her.

"I'm so sorry I lost your rabbit Basha!" Her apologized was laced with small giggles and tears from laughing. She was truly sorry, but at the way Basha had been speaking perhaps it wasn't all bad.

Basha was laughing along with her mom, "Maybe you are older than you thought mom" she said laughing a little as she talked. Her mom had definitely moved too slow and missed the rabbit but Basha wasn't too upset by it. It meant more time to play in the bushes and run around like a lunatic.

"That's okay mom. But maybe you should jump in the bushes and I will wait on the outside and see if I can catch what you scare out." she slowly made her way out of the bush not bothered by all the twigs and leaves that were stuck in her fur.

"Lets try a new bush" she said, she was sure anything that was in this brush had now left.

"You're calling me old?!"

The dramatic tone from such a character was absolutely goofy and could in no way be taken seriously. Twana even brought her head up and took a more ladylike stance allowing the drama to be spoken with every aspect including body language. "I'm as young as they come." She teased cheerily before taking the position Basha had previously been holding.

Once she had begun bouncing she smiled and each bounce seemed to get even more loose and relaxed. Her limbs were basically flailing and the Patron was having a wonderful time. Than it happened! "There Basha!"

The Patron called out to her daughter as a dark creature was spooked from a nearby bush. The rabbit, which was incredibly fluffy, scooted out of the safety and directly towards Basha. The opportunity could not have been better! "Cmon now, are you as old as your Mum?" Twana mused as she paused from bouncing to watch her daughter.

Basha watched her mother bounce around in the bushes and she started laughing the older wild dog looked completely ridiculous, and Basha was sure she had looked just as foolish.

She saw the rabbit as it made its way past her. She took off running after it and managed to catch up to it in no time. She pounced and landed on the rabbit she picked it up and with a quick flick of her head broke its neck.

She was very proud of herself her first ever kill, she trotted back towards her mother and laid it down, "Thats one mama!" she said grinning ear from ear.

"Do you want to stay in the bushes or chase the rabbits?" she asked.

Ghenna tried her best to rebound from her fall and go back after the rabbits, but she already managed to lose them all. She shook her head fiercely to wiggle off the pain in her nose so she could sniff them down again, but right now all she could sniff was the cold, earthy stench of mud. Ghenna sneezed abruptly, some mud flinging from her muzzle.

Hearing someone sneeze Basha's head popped up to see the brown and blue wild dog not to far from where her and her mother were hunting rabits.

"HEY!" she called to the other female... she hadn't actually met the female before but Basha was overlyfriendly. "Come join us" she said waving the female over.

"My names Basha, my and I have a system.... one of us jumps in the bushes the others chase the rabbits that come out. Having two chasers could mean more rabbits." Basha explained excitedly.

Chupa could see the mother and daughter pair preparing to catch rabbits and smiled. She was beginning to wonder when she would have her own children, though she supposed it was far off. You usually needed a male for these things to happen, after all. She chuckled to herself lightly.

The female had not yet begun hunting herself, so she approached the pair with a smile, ready to cheer them on. Then maybe she would have a go herself.

Basha jumped into some bushes, "Who is ready to catch some rabbits" she giggled. She began to jump up and down rustling the bushes as much as she could.

She was hoping that if something came running out one of the wild dogs out waiting would be able to get it.

Maleleji flicked his ears forward. He had been excited for this month to roll about as soon as he learned about it. This was a perfect time to practice, after all. He didn't intend to stay in the pack long, his feet aching to move along. Still, he was excite to participate. He counted the next three breaths he took, and glanced to his companion.

The other WD sighed. While he normally hunted alone, the event prompted him to hunt with others. He wasn't as adept to deal with hunting with others, but he had with Leji's urging. Often, the pair had worked together to take down larger prey, so they knew they could at least work together.

The pair walked beside each other, joining the group in their hunt.

Numbers past this point at 38 and 8.

Chupa giggled as Basha did and began to jump and move from side to side gently. She was sure she'd catch something, though knowing her clumsy and over animated ways she was sure to accidentally miss something too. Lowering her red body she focused her gaze on the bush....

Nothing yet!

"I can't see anything!" She exclaimed.  

[Seaki]

The pair of WD moved along. They were silence in their movements, and often Tanda knew the best places, and the most abundant. The splotchy-white Leji didn't mind following the other - Tanda was more experienced than he was, and a lot older. Perhaps they would meet up with others, to take down something large.

"What do you think?" Leji asked the darker male, frowning as he nervously counted his steps. Tanda stopped a moment, allowing Leji to catch up with him. He didn't mind the counting, even if it slowed them both down. It gave him time to think.

"`bout what?" Tanda asked, continuing at a slower pace as the pair began walking again.

"Should we join another group? That would make things easier, wouldn't it? To take down something big?" After all, the day would be important. His sister's son was getting married! That was exciting, right?

Chupa frowned at the bush, her tongue still sticking slightly out of her mouth. Why was nothing appearing? Maybe the hares had got wind of their plan and bounded off elsewhere. She was sure prey was more intelligent than some gave them credit. Bouncing up and down like an excited pup she noticed a few others approaching the group. Perhaps they would join and help with a hunt? There had to be something a little bigger than hares to hunt - after all this was a celebration!

She ran over clumsily with a jump as she always did and approached the pair with a grin and an energetic greeting. "Hello!"

"Hullo, Chupa," Leji greeted his niece easily. He was quite glad they had bumped into a pair that he knew personally. He could hear Tanda give a soft sigh, and he shook his head softly. "Mind if we join you?" Tanda could just suck it up, Leji thought. It was good practice! The pack was getting bigger and hunting with a group brought things in a lot easier, or so he's told.

"What do you think, Chupa?" He asked, "Bigger game would be better, wouldn't it?" He could feel Tanda's gaze on him, but he didn't mind it. He would fight Tanda on this! Maybe not fight, but, still. Tanda gave a small huff in the background, making an agreeing noise.

Chupa only recognised her uncle as she ran closer. In truth her mind was wired and she wasn't entirely focusing, she wanted to hunt something- and soon! What was said about larger game was entirely true in her eyes and she agreed enthusiastically. "Oh yes yes yes, definitely! It would be a great occasion if we could catch something large and spectacular - to match the wedding of course." Her tail wagged gently. "What did you have in mind?" She paid no attention to the huffing of the other, and didn't really hear it with her fast talking drowning out any background noise.
