The air definitely did hold an awkward feeling from their slight clash, but the hybrid tried her best not to dwell on it. Being angry at the angel for uttering one single, purely curious question would be foolish and counterproductive. Now that her emotions had quieted, the females intelligence was back in the main seat. She could even see it from his side. The city would be safer and everything that they would ever need was at their fingertips. How could she possibly fault the male for wanting that? Dyas' smile grew slightly at the kiss and was more than happy to return the nuzzle. She slipped to the side of the room then to fuss with the various cooking pots, eventually pulling out two cleaned and sun dried deer bladders out to transport water.

OOC: You can totally think of Dyas and Raken living like Native Americans blaugh Stone tools, bladders for water transport, furs for blankets...Hilarious.

[bladders x.x Lets make the redskinz civilized! *IamnativeamericanIcansayracistthings* ]

Azure carried the very full and heavy basket over to Dyas, "I'm ready when you are, if you have everything you need" he informed her as he set the basket down on the ground beside his leg to wait for their departure. "Let me know if there is anything else you need me to do before we go." Azure offered. It had been a sort of busy morning preparing for their trip out, he felt ready to lay down and relax beneath the sunlight in Fae Clearing. The male moved so that he was standing behind Dyas and wrapped his arms around her, resting his head on her shoulder.

The female nodded as she dipped the bladders into the bucket of water. She then tightened the ends with the string hanging from the opening, effectively sealing them for transport. When Azure embraced her, she slipped the objects into the basket and leaned against him with a happy exhale. Much less awkward now. She tilted her head to kiss his temple and gently rested her hands upon his. The shadows to their right bubbled. "I do have everything I need...because I have you here." She blushed lightly and gave his hands a gentle squeeze. But she really was ready to leave for the clearing whenever he was.

OOC: XDD That's a totally awesome heritage. By the by, congrats on the Azure black-crystal-power thingermajig!

"Well if that's the case... I guess we should just stay here." Azure teased as he picked up the basket in one hand and held Dyas' hand with the other and led her out of the cave. The sun felt warm and bright, emphasis on the bright after spending all that time snuggled up inside the cave. He smiled softly at Dyas, who looked ever the more beautiful with the sunlight shining on her skin and hair. He swung their hands back and forth as they walked slowly through the forest, and Azure was drinking in all of it.

[Thankies! Pretty exciting]

She grinned and lightly poked him at his tease, but really she wouldn't have minded all too much if they had stayed in. Snuggling in their warm cave had been rather blissful. She laced their fingers and walked down the caves halls to the golden sunshine that awaited. Had the world always been so bright? She squinted to try and adjust her eyes. Beautiful indeed, if only she could properly see. Dyas still grinned though as every blink cleared her vision. It truly was a magnificent day to be out and about.

Starved to the point of his ribcage showing, dark circles under his eyes from many sleepless nights, and coated with a thin sheen of dirt, a blue and silver pae pushed through the forest. He was tired and weak, his legs trembling with every step as the muscle had deteriorated on the boat. But none of that mattered. Nothing mattered except for one single thought. He stumbled over another rock and bit back a cry of pain. Still he kept shambling through, never straying from his path. He knew the area like the back of his hand as he forcefully recalled every detail he knew every night he was gone. Getting lost would keep him even longer from his destination, and that was something he simply could not allow. Now panting, he squinted through silver bangs as sweat rolled down his features. He was close. So, so very close. With one last burst of energy, he forced himself into a sloppy jog, the cave up ahead slowly coming into view. Yes. Raken had finally returned home. The very breath in his lungs seemed to halt when he caught sight of two figures. That was it. The one thing that kept him going. His entire reason for pushing his body to the brink. Dyas.

Azure easily spotted Raken, the male stood out, especially with how much of a disaster he appeared to be in. Azure blinked a few times at the strange sight, not recognizing it as Raken at first. Until he saw the markings that the love of his life had, difficult to see beneath the layer of dirt. 'Wow, he looks like crap,' Azure thought as his eyes went wide in recognition. Azure could only look over at Dyas and see what her reaction to this was, he was her father after-all. So much for their picnic date, he was sure. Azure did not have the most fond memories of Dyas' father.

The birds were chirping, the sun was beaming, and Azure was right by her side. She inhaled the sweet air deeply, and blinked a few more times just as a loud noise sounded. Like a wounded deer trying to flee. The female focused on the figure in the distance, plainly floundering around. It was a pae...and they needed help! Giving a quick look to her love, she let go of his hand to start running over. But she only made it a few feet before stopping dead in her tracks. That...That silver hair... The faint thorn pattern on his body...the dirt on him hardly mattered. There was no mistaking him for any other pae. Her body trembled slightly as her heart began to beat wildly. It was her father. It's my Father...Wait...IT'S MY FATHER! Her father was hurt! She was running again as her vision became tunneled, focusing only on the male infront of her. The moment she arrived to his side, she ducked her head under one of his arms for support. He was in worse condition than any pae she had ever seen before.

Relief flooded into him like a tidal wave when he saw her, his beautiful daughter. She was alright. She was safe. She was...running towards him. "Dyas..." He tried to yell the name but he lacked the strength. His legs began to fail him just as the female reached his side. Was she always so strong, or was he that weak? His heart broke a little at her desperate expression, fear shining bright in her eyes. He could only imagine how awful he looked. "Dyas...I'm sorry." The demonics vision sluggishly moved from her face to back in front of him, and he blinked in surprise. Azure? He honestly hadn't noticed the angel until that moment. The island could have ripped itself in two and he wouldn't have noticed until that moment.

Azure held back, allowing the two to have their moment. That, and the fact that he was still a little in shock that Raken was there. Azure had gotten a little too used to their short life without Raken. He knew that Dyas was troubled by her father being missing, but Azure had been relieved he hadn't been there to intrude on their time together. He was just thankful that Raken showed up now, instead of when they were lying in bed together.

Azure slowly, very slowly, made his way towards Dyas and Raken, when he finally arrived he was silent until he finally asked, "Do you need help?"

Guardians what had happened to him? They had to get him inside, quick. She pried her eyes away from the Demon to look at Azure and nodded. He was surprisingly light, but still rather cumbersome. She ached with a thousand questions, but that all had to wait. He needed food and rest first.

The proud pae watched the other as he approached, biting his tongue at the thought of requiring help to walk. But he was spent, and so would be little help to Dyas for getting him back. "Just...don't mention it again. Ever." Weak and frail as he was, Raken still managed a rather intimidating look. His power had disappeared, and he was in no shape to fight but he was still a proud male.

Azure was biting his tongue the entire time he helped Raken walk. Of all the pride and arrogance, Raken needed help and still had the pride to say something like that. While Azure was generally well-natured, his issues with Raken went as far back as his love for Dyas. Messing with the heart of his niece, Adora, to keep Azure and Dyas apart? Pathetic. Azure took a deep breath and kept quiet and kept a straight face... he would try to subdue his harsh feelings towards Raken for Dyas' sake though.

He glanced over at Dyas, looking at her with concern. She was the only one he cared about, and he knew she had to be fragile right now. Azure was surprised she hadn't used her shadows yet to say something to Raken... Azure wasn't about to speak on her behalf so he stayed quiet as well as they walked towards the cave. It was an awkward walk, at least it felt that way to Azure.

Only the corners of her mouth twitched as her father spoke, the situation far too dire to smile. That was her father alright, always proud. Every inch they made felt like an hour, as they were at a good 400 feet from the cave. With Azure not talking, it was rather quiet as she didn't want to talk for fear of asking questions. Stress was something to be avoided in his fragile state, and angry accusations were decidedly stressful.

He could almost feel the hate radiating off of Azure. The blue angel disliked this just as much as he did! As the minutes ticked by in their slow hobble to the cave, the males silver eyes flicked to Azure. Truthfully, the other had no idea just how accepted he was to be allowed to touch him. Any other pae -close family aside-, Raken would sooner crawl than to take help. He looked forwards again just as they entered the cave. "Thanks. You can go home now kid." He spoke softly, wondering how he could say things to have Dyas not hate him.

Home? Azure glanced at Dyas with uncertainty, not sure what she wanted to do now that her father was home. He was sure Raken would explode if he found out Azure had been living with Dyas. The male did have a small place he could go back to, but he didn't really want to leave Dyas. There was the fact that he had just mentioned moving to the city, he could just take Dyas with him and it wouldn't matter what Raken said because it would be a place of their own.

Azure took a deep breath, trying to muster up his courage. Though the next action he took was more out of rebellion then courage. "Yeah, sure." Azure responded as he let go of Raken and took a few steps forward into the cave. Azure only looked at Dyas to gauge her reaction to his bold move, he hoped it didn't upset her, but they were two consenting adults, it was high time Raken stopped treating them like they were children.

She felt her heart skip a beat as a shock of cold ran up her spine. Her eyes snapped over to look at Azure, her mouth opening slightly as her mind turned blank as to what to say or do. She was trying to keep Raken as stress free as possible in his state, and letting him know Azure was living here? Might just kill the demonic. She watched with a rather puzzled look as her love pulled away, but his very first step made her jaw drop further. What was he thinking?! No sugar coating it even! Her eyes darted from between the two males as she tried to brace for Rakens reaction. If her father passed out from the shock, Azure was going to get the guilt trip of a lifetime.

He expected either some smart-butt comeback or for the male to simply shuffle off defeated. Both were characteristics he had seen in the angel before. As the other moved away from him, he felt a little smug. Running away defeated. He still got...wait. Azure moved deeper into the cave. He blinked slowly as this processed into his mind. "Are...you saying...you live...here?" His brow creased as his thoughts began to blur. After everything he had told the male. After being clear in exactly what he expected. He pushed away from Dyas, using his strength gathered from the rest he had gotten with being helped to the cave. His right hand tightened at his side, and he walked towards the male. "With Dyas. Alone." Silver eyes narrowed and his body tensed, looking like he was going to use every last ounce of strength to pummel the angel. "For Goddesses who knows how long. Azure, you..." He jutted his hand out at the male, gaze unflinching. His fist had uncurled to offer a handshake. "Thank you...Goddess...Thank you for looking out for her." For the first time, he said it with true meaning. No sarcasm.

Azure winced at Dyas' reaction, he was worried he might upset her. But if he had walked away he probably would have upset her too. Women... it was always lose, lose with them. Well he knew he was likely in trouble with Dyas, so now to stare his fate in the eyes.

Azure's cool, blue eyes shifted to Raken, wondering how easily he might be able to overcome the other male in his weakened state. Everything Raken said and did convinced Azure even more that he was going to have to take defensive action, he would have to use all his willpower not to do anything more then self-defense with Dyas watching. What was Azure thinking? He wasn't a fighter! He took a deep breath, decidedly accepting his fate. "Yes." He said firmly, admitting to all of Raken's accusations without a falter. There was nothing wrong with what he did, Azure assured himself. There came the hand, Azure couldn't help but flinch, and was entirely surprised by the grasp that didn't cause any sort of pain. Azure froze and shook the male's hand mindlessly as a puzzled expression worked its way over Azure's face. "You're... welcome? Yes, you're welcome. Of course." Azure glanced at Dyas again.

No! The first thought in her head was the same as Azure's. Her father was going to attempt to pummel her love, in his beat up state, and Azure couldn't do much or risk killing the pae. She quickly moved after her father, reaching out to his shoulder just as the male struck out his hand. Wait. What? The shadows bubbled at their feet. She was beginning to feel the strain of projecting her voice so many times today, but it was important. "You...you are not angry?" Her mind voice spoke incredulously, the sound bouncing off the cave walls.

Scaring the daylights out of Azure? Check. It was something Raken made sure to engrave into the male so he would always see Raken as a threat, though his gratitude had set him back a step. He took his hand back after the handshake, going back to lean against Dyas in a tired slump. "I am...but I would have hunted him down if he hadn't." A touch confusing perhaps, but Dyas' better interest surpassed initial rules. Keeping her safe was far more important than his wish to have her away from Azure alone. "May we continue so I may sit at last? I have been at sea for three seasons."
