I feel the same way mostly, and if I post about it I'm sure people will accuse me of being homeschooled.

But also at the same time, when i do want it, I'm very picky.

See I wanted to say that sex was non-essential but I don't think I could truly feel like I was in a relationship without it. It sounds silly saying it because I'm with my first, but I really feel like having sex makes this seem so much more real than any previous relationship I've had.

I mean, without the sex and intimacy associated with that, what distinguishes it from a great friendship? And yes, arguably, there's other sexual things besides sex itself like kissing and whatnot that make it exclusive but I seem to have a habit of doing that with my friends as well. >.>

To each his own though.

i'll admit i find it odd that some people have no priority for sex in a relationship. it's a basic human instinct and imo creates an intense bond between partners.

different strokes i guess. no worries, it's just not the way i think i suppose.

pretty much this. if the sex is bad i'm pretty disappointed in a relationship. it can improve, but still.
also i don't get when people look down on others for sex being important to them. Especially since, yeah, it's human instinct. It's ANY animal's instinct. xD

Sex is just one part of a relationship, but it's definitely not the most important thing for me. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with finding it essential or not caring about it at all.

think sex is icky, actually
hate that it seems to run some people's lives, you know trying to get it or whatever (coughmy momcough)
but I'm also asexual
and don't even have any interest in relationships
