Arrival !

It had been a day like any other, Violet had gotten up, gotten dressed and told her roommate and best friend that she would see her in two days. With her bag packed for the two day field trip, Violet was as excited as the mellow natured girl could be. Slinging her backpack over her shoulder she started out of the dorm. Moving down the halls in her lazy manner Violet eyed each new face, it was the start of a new year and she was determined to make a few new friends!

Not that Ooglia wasn't a great friend, just...Violet wanted more? That was a common thing for her though to want more, or at least it was now, now that she wasn't at home and forced to work for her government, forced to feel a certain way and behave a certain way at all times it was great. Great to be...free. Or at least freer since Violet knew that while she was away...they would still be watching her. Not only that but while she wanted and longed for new friends the rules her government had given her before she left repeated in her head.

Smiling as she trailed down the hall her thoughts turned to the field trip. So exciting, they were going to collect gas samples and ...well she forgot the rest not because she had a bad memory no, that wasn't it at all in fact Violet's memory was amazing the reason she had forgotten was pretty much pure excitement. She had gotten so excited about the trip it was hard to think about what it was actually for other than getting to go somewhere. After all...Violet was use to being stuck at home, or well stuck with the other ghost armed people on her planet, in the government building...day in and day out.

Shaking her head Violet was determined not to think about anything that might lessen the thrill of the trip, and that meant thinking of home. She made her way towards the ship they were taking, boarding with an almost shy wave at the others.

Violet didn't know the students in this class very well but they all seemed nice, except for that fish one..she had been told of his people from hers and well didn't have the best impression of him. Taking her seat Violet pulled out her ipod like device to listen to some music, as they waited for Nagataur to give them more details of the field trip. Since it was a two day ordeal, Violet had packed accordingly pushing into her bag the following items;

School books for a test she had when she got back, toothbrush/hair gel/ makeup, gym clothes plus two more outfits and two sets of sleep wear, something similar to an ipod only waaay more advance and her charm making kit in case she got board.

Smiling to herself as the music started she handed her bag over to the Floofie that passed by, watching the little creature as it stored the bag away. Once their teacher Nagataur entered the ship, Violet reached up and undid the ear buds from her ears causing the music to go silent so she could listen. After everything was discussed they were off !

It was turning out to be a pretty smooth trip Violet thought as she pressed a hand under her chin and peered out the ships window watching as stars and other planets zoomed by, it was amazing that this ship was still operational, wasn't it five years old now? Violet giggled it was like riding in a relic to her considering her planets technology was one of the most advanced around.

After awhile Violet like the rest on the ship's occupants grew tired, stretching out she made her way to her sleep chamber, climbing in and drifting off. What seemed like moments later, however was more like hours, the alarms of the ship started to scream before the impact. Her own sleep chamber was ruptured by debris, in the crash and opened leaving the thistle colored little alien shaken and awake..staring in a daze around the ship before being ushered out by a floofie.

"....Where are we?" She asked in a slur of her native language, looking to her teacher with confused and wild eyes. This place! It was...interesting but more than anything it was scary. Violet while curious was cautious and hid behind her teacher the whole way up the path, her attention turning at each trap they passed while getting closer to the large building they had crashed near. What was this place? Who was that! Violet clenched her backpack tightly staring at the white haired man that approached them. He didn't seem to friendly.. Violet peeked at the stranger her hands tightening on the strap, wondering if she would have to help everyone if the stranger tried something?

But what could she do? The little alien thought, she only had her ghost arms, and not much physical strength behind them. Beady black orbs focused as the man motioned to the school, said man and the teacher seemed to be having a conversation and at the mention of Nova academy, Violet's interest peaked. Could this, was this..like a sister school? She sure hoped so, her fear was starting to subside making way for the more curious and adventurous side of Violet's personality.

Smoothing down her pink and turquoise uniform Violet put on a hesitant lazy smile, following the man, her teacher and the other students into the building. Her head filled with all the possible adventure that awaited her here...The thought of home for the moment was pressed to the further part of her mind thanks to the promise of a new adventure, new friends, a new life?..That is if they couldn't get off the planet..

I want to know all the things, EVER!

Violet had been here on Earth for a little over two months now. Things were still new to her but not as new as they use to be which pleased her greatly. Drawing in a deep breath the thistle colored girl looked over the area from the roof of the academy. It was truly an amazing place..one that was free and held endless adventures for her..

One that the longer she was stranded on the more she found herself longing to stay on.

Moving slowly towards the edge of the building, Violet moved to sit on the ledge kicking her legs happily as she peered out over the area. It really was a great place. Smiling to herself, Violet started to practice her English with recalling a few songs she had heard while here. Singing softly to herself on the roof the alien closed her eyes already growing lazy in her attempt to practice and trailing off to reminisce over her time here. Violet knew she had gotten extremely lucky in meeting the people she had, her roommate, Arthur, all of the others as well...they were all so nice and even if she did notice the strange looks that were given to her for her appearance she knew that there were those that could look past that and like her for who she was.

A lazy smile stretched her dark purple lips, hand moving up to turn the halo watch over to her human disguise. Opening her eyes Violet peered down to the now human looking hands. There was so much she could do now thanks to Mr. Hack and this watch, so much that before she was well a little scared to go attempt. But not anymore she was going to start going into the town, start watching human girls, start ...learning how to fit in here better because somewhere deep down, Violet knew she had already decided she was going to find a way to stay.

Violet had no doubt she would miss home and her family, as she already did but. "....Mm.." A lazy sigh escaped her lips, she knew that eventually she wouldn't miss them as much and that really by her home world standards she was an adult. Adults separated from their family and began their own way...and "thats..what I have to do.." Violet told herself peering out to the water that surrounded the school. She needed to take that step and well...why not take it here on Earth? Where, reaching up again she turned the watch back over and looked at her palms, a finger moving to trail over the government mark of her people. Where she didn't have to live a life alone.

While it might have been hard to tell from her relaxed pose and almost sleepy looking face both fear and excitement were filling her. Violet sighed and stretched kicking back over the ledge to stand on the rooftop, her normal and ghost fist both clenched in determination. She was going to at least attempt this, even if it meant being a rebel in her governments eyes. Even if it meant leaving all that she knew for a world that she would have to learn even the basics in. Even if it meant...being further from him.

"I'm going to do this....I'm going to learn all the things!" Violet giggled out encouraging herself in the persuit of turning over a new chapter in her lives story. For now simply pushing the sadder thoughts away. For now. For now since she knew that she should only focus on the good side or risk failing before she started.

Besides..he would understand better than anyone wouldn't he?

Beady blacks turned towards the sky and Violet lifted her hand up. "I'm sorry.." It did hurt thinking about him and how she never had the courage on her own world to run. To run with him, for them. But here..here she was already- and in a world she didn't know with people she barely met. Violet knew what it meant but it still wasn't easy to accept because a part of her, did long. Hearing the bell for class changes Violet snapped back lowering her hand with a sad smile before shaking her head and ridding herself of all negativity. "Time to learn.." Chuckling softly she swayed towards the roof door making her way back into the school and towards a new future.

:: Mission ! 1 point!
Quote:

Ah, the life of a rookie, quite boring isn't it. The only missions you ever seem to get saddled with are the "safe" ones, really unexciting.

So guess what, here's another... safe mission for you, joy. You need to deliver this package to Energon Inc.'s CEO, Mr Bayern. Their office headquarters is at Floor Street, near the coast of Ronth. It's a really big and shiny building, you can't miss it, you'd have to be blind to. And no you don't need to know what's inside the package.

Now get going! You have two hours.

Violet looked to the package that was entrusted to her. Holding it carefully as she trailed the halls of the school. Two hours to deliver this..two hours was awhile away wasn't it? Having only just learned how to properly tell time here on Earth the alien hoped she was right in her prediction that two hours was in fact awhile.

Yawning softly she recited the name of the company in her head. Energon Inc.'s CEO, Mr Bayern, Violet smiled brightly and continued to chant the address and man's name over and over again as she started out of the academy with the package.

Yes. She would go now, perhaps take in the sites along the way, after all the only time she was able to do that seemed to be when they needed her help in tracking down the very obnoxious bald man Recks. The thought of said man had Violet holding the package a little tighter while flicking the button on her holo-watch for her human disguise. That man, she really didn't want to run into again but he was in jail right that's what her teachers had said that she helped put him in jail. Violet sighed softly while getting on the boat to cross over, hoping that this jail would still have the bald nuisance occupied.

Violets watched the water lazily as they started across, a yawn slipping out of her lips when they finally reached the other side to land. Thanking the boats men she was off, heading now for Ronth.Thankfully having gotten a map of the area awhile back from one of her teachers at the academy. Though looking at the map she couldn't help but get distracted, what time was it? Would it be ok to stop for one of those hot dog things and sit in the warm sunshine for awhile?

Surely it would! Smiling brightly the green haired girl trotted about until finding a street vendor. Grabbing a hot dog with mustard Violet turned to find a seat, ending up on a bench next to a man dressed rather funny for how warm it was. Then again, Violet didn't really find his long coat, hat and scarf to strange considering she had to wear double layers in her own room due to her roommate at times. Well her roommate and due to the fact that she was use to much warmer temperatures.

Shifting back on the bench till her back touched the benches back and short legs dangled over the edge not quite touching the ground Violet beamed, placing the box to her left between her and the gentleman before diving into her hotdog. Yes this was very nice the little alien mused to herself, a nice warm day, good food and still plenty of time left before she needed to deliver the package.

As her eyes trailed over the area she noticed a few children whom seemed to be playing some strange game with a rope. Finishing off the hot dog her curiosity got the better of her for what exactly the children were doing and so with a shift off from the bench and a grab for the package she was off. Advancing on the children, Violet shifted the package behind her back and tilted her head with an interesting puckering of her lips.

"Hello..." Finally calling out lazily to the other kids Violet was noticed and after just a few short puzzled questions she was pulled into a game of jump rope. Falling once or twice though having fun she had honestly forgotten about the package she sat aside to be able to participate. When the rest of the children needed a short break for drinks the game was put on pause, leaving Violet bent at the knees and panting softly. That-t game was a lot of work...she really wanted a nap now just a small one, turning with the intent to head back to school for just that Violet ended up tripping over the package and landing with a soft thud.

The fall causing her watch to bleep out for a moment then back, the break in her disguise had the resting children staring at the little alien in awe. Violet rose up slowly and peered to the staring children, blushing a red through her disguise. They were staring so intently it made her feel awkward, feel....embarrassed? She knew she looked a lot different than the humans but having went to a school where everyone looked different well she hadn't been really bothered since no one stared to hard. But here, here with all these eyes on her now as she clinged to the package. Violet suddenly felt like the odd girl out. Everyone here looked the same, even...Arthur and...Ava her friends...and w-well Ava was an alien to! But she, she looked far more human than Violet did normally.

Smiling weakly to the staring eyes Violet blushed hotter before quickly taking her leave from them, missing when the children started to chatter about how cool she looked. Slightly crumpled package in hand she dug through her mind for the address of the place again. Let's see...it was on Floor Street...near the coast so..that way! Violet smiled lazily pushing her insecure thoughts to the back of her mind. It didn't take her long before she found the building and boy was it shiny..! That was no lie, staring at the big shiny building Violet couldn't help but feel smaller yet again as her reflection, normal, normal reflection caught on the shiny windows.

Sighing and shutting her eyes she remembered the encouragement of her grandfather. Violet was Violet and that was just that no more what if thoughts, pushing the doors open she moved quickly to the counter unknowingly right at five minutes till her two hour mark for the delivery. "Excuse me, I have this package for Energon Inc.'s CEO, Mr Bayern." And with a handing over and a lazy yawn, her first mission was complete.

Smiling to herself Violet bowed her head to the receptionist that took the package before moving from the building back to school.❞

Mimic?...H-hero?

They had crash landed here some time ago and as such Violet was more acquainted with the academy. She easily found her way through the halls now and was a lot better at communicating with the others of the school. So many things she had learned so many experiences she had gained in the short time she had been here on Earth. Moving from her last class of the day she turned the dial on her holo watch putting up her human disguise and waving to a friend as she passed. Exiting the school with a stretch Violet peered to the city across the water with a grin.

Going into town today was a necessity she wanted to get her friend a gift for this birthday thing the humans celebrated. While on her own world birthdays were not a big deal and as such not celebrated here Violet had learned most thought they were a big deal and required gifts and sweets! The thought of delicious human foods sent a skip in her step as she boarded the boat to the city. The ride wasn't long and soon Violet was on the street trailing and pausing from time to time to look into windows at the items on display. Luckily for her Black Jack had taught her how to shop! Black Jack.. The thought of Dollie's rookie name had a frown forming on her lips. Rookie name. Violet had decided sometime ago to stay here and yet she hadn't chosen even a name for herself.

Though in her defense it was hard to choose a name. Moving down the sidewalk her hands folded gently behind her back, eyes moving to each face she passed and ears listening to the sound of the city. It was a beautiful day. A good day for thinking, "mm.." a lazy hum escaped the girls lips as she paused to smell a flower vendors inventory. The sweet smell of the flowers filled her nose and caused her to sneeze softly. Delighted by the smell Violet paused a moment to debate if this could be the gift she chose for the birthday present. Her debate didn't last long when she realized that her friend was to much of a tech lover to likely appreciate flowers.

Chuckling to herself Violet moved on pausing when hearing a scream. Her instincts kicked in and led her to the source of the scream which happened to be a band of children. The children were all standing against a wall sobbing as a familiar bald menace collected their candy. "Rex.." Violet muttered under her breath, tone annoyed and fist clenching. That man was such a pest. Sighing softly she stepped back into the alley way turning the dial of her holo watch to turn her disguise off and then stepped forward. While Rex was occupied with snatching all the candy from the children Violet moved to the sidewalk edge just a few feet from him using her recent school training and focusing to extend her arms out far enough to capture the villain's hands without alarming him to her presence.

Capturing his hands was a success and when the mans hands slapped himself in the eye with a sucker Rex turned to hiss at Vi. Knowing he would attempt to run Vi grabbed her knees quickly, in turn Rex's arms were forced to grab his own legs in his mid escape sending him in a bend then causing him to topple over himself. The children that had previously been scared by the villain laughed and hollered in amusement.

"Get em !" "Yea beat him up lady!" "Oh wow look how purple she is get him purple lady!" The mix of encouraging chants and giggles caused Violet to laugh her self, yawning lazily she moved her hands from her knees to mock a punch to her face missing herself but causing Rex to black his own eye. The bald villian cried out in pain and flailed on the ground. The amused children seemed to pick up on the young purple girls power having to mimic her own hands as she made Rex beat himself up for the children.

So through the, "stop hitting yourself baldy!" there was a small cheer of, "go Mimic ! Go Mimic!" When one of them suggested she make him eat dirt Violet had to laugh, sending one more good punch to Rex and knocking him out by his own hands. After taking care of Rex the rookie moved to the children to inspect them. Several giggling and asking to touch her hair or where she was from and how she got her awesome ghosty arms. Chuckling for the attention and the few wary eyes she got Violet answered a few questions before pausing when one of the children captured her by the hem of her Nova uniform. "Asuse me Mimic.. c-can I have my candy back?" The question while adorable finally caused Violet to hear the name they children were calling her.

"Mimic?" The name was mocked back by Violet as she nodded and moved to get the candy from in front of the beaten and blacked out Rex. Handing it over Violet listened to a few of the kids explain the name was for her hands mimicking her ghosty ones. Laughing Violet waved a goodbye to the group and called the police for Rex before lazily swaying back to the alley to change into her disguise. Thinking over the name as she managed to get a gift for her friend and head back to school.

"Mimic." Violet boarded the boat back to school shopping bag at her side. Peering over the water as they set off there she decided that the name would stay.

A b-bboy?

Quote:
What was your character's reaction towards turning into the opposite sex? What do they look like now? Was it fun? Disgusting? Appalling? Do they desperately want to turn back? Or would they *GASP* rather stay like this forever??!?!?

Like many of the other students at SA, Violet was one among the confused when things first came into light. Confused in that she wasn't quiet sure if this was some human illness or- something more? While it hadn't been at all disturbing to her it was a little uncomfortable at the start.. But over the day and after she had found her friends and some clothing that was more appropriate, Violet was starting to get use to and even a little fond of her new body now that the surprise and shock was wearing off.

Being a 'boy' wasn't all that bad and plus he kind of like the way he looked in his human disguise. Though maybe that was because he thought he looked handsome and a little like Arthur. Blushing in his natural green under the human disguise he cleared his throat and stared off the roof of the school. This was a place he came to often and now that his searching with Arthur and Black Jack had ended well there wasn't much for him to do but wait. Waiting was just fine with the lazy little alien in fact Violet or Vi as he was going by now yawned and streatched out then promptly flopped onto his butt on the roof then to his back. Laying down flat and staring up into the sky Vi raised his hands and peered through the pale peachy fingers with a smile. To bad.....this strangeness couldn't make him a real human boy also.

The thought in itself started Vi into a wide eyed look. "Wha-what?" Vi asked out in his newly deeper voice though not expecting an answer considering he was all alone on the roof. "What was with that.." Vi blinked at the sky, it wasn't like he hated being an alien he told himself so why...why did that thought pop up? Was it.. Vi turned his hands over and let the disguise fall, his beady black eyes peering over the government marks on his palms.

".........." Maybe that was why...if he was a real human boy....he could be free. Boy. Naiddal. Vi frowned softly as thoughts of his old love back on his home world flared up. If he was a real human boy he wouldn't have these horrible things to remember. Vi sighed and shook his head lazily, green locks swishing back and forth then curling down around his face as if they were comforting him. But if he was a real human boy, he would have never came here in the first place right? Vi smiled a little into the comforting tickle of his hair with that thought, that was right if he wasn't himself he would never been here in the first place!

Laughing lazily to himself he admitted, "while its nice I really just want to be me please..." Female and all. Feeling much more happy Vi put his arms at his side then hands over his chest, staring up into the sky and dozing off.

A GROWTH QUEST[color=white]

It is evening time in Crantel. The sun is setting and stars are starting to appear like many tiny winks in the sky. Someone's radio from nearby is blaring out the evening news, something about telepaths and scams, but you're not really paying attention. You are just outside the school campus, minding your own business when a hooded stranger suddenly appears, seemingly from thin air. Startled, you react instinctively to defend/attack. The stranger panics and holds up both hands.

"NO wait!" she pleads, and pulls down her hood to reveal her thistle colored complexion and red hair. You boggle at the sight. Could she be... Naiddalian?

"You're one of us, aren't you?" the girl says hesitantly. "I'm one of the rebels, I was sent here to fetch you by our leader. One of ours told us we'd find you here, and that you would join our cause."

She goes on to explain, saying that a small branch of the rebel forces have been booted here and are currently residing in a highly remote town on the Sister Islands. They were considering either setting up operations here, or attempting to make their way back to their home planet. And they know about you because your love interest from home... is here.

"You must come immediately," she urges. "He needs you, we all do."

What do you do? The girl's story is quite convincing, and she seems to know all about Naiddalian affairs. Plus she knows your love interest to boot.

Or it could be a trap by those rogue telepaths, as you vaguely recall hearing earlier on the radio. They could be intending to lure you off the safety of the school grounds on the pretense of being Naddalian. It seemed near impossible, since Earth was very distant from your home planet, and you've never heard of the monarchy expelling rebels to this sector of the universe.

Yet... the draw of seeing him again is tempting, and your curiosity is compelling you to go. What if it wasn't a scam, and he was really here?

But if it was truly a scam, you could end up in great danger, all alone in one of the remotest parts of Megapolis and almost literally at the mercy of this girl and whoever she might be in cahoots with. Will you take the risk and follow her at your own peril? Or is there perhaps some other way to verify her account? What is your next course of action?

((OK Vi's quest is up! Hopefully this is do-able orz. As per all other quests, take some liberties with the details and happenings and have fun with it! PM mori if something's factually wrong or... well if there's anything wrong at all. Remember to do up your response as a journal entry !))

Such a peaceful evening, it was warm, calm and lazy just the way Violet had came to like her days here on Earth. Strolling around at a leisurely pace she stretched and peered towards the sky smiling at the welcoming twinkles of the stars. Stars. A soft sad smile spread her lips as she gazed up to the sky, it was still lonely but not as bad and while sights like the stars reminded her everyday she wasn't back on her planet she knew now that she was home. Violet smiled wide and stretched her arms out in front of her, much more confident in her own skin around school now and with the world in general thanks to her wonderful friends and teachers.

Hearing the faint background noise of a radio playing Violet tipped her head in its direction giving a lazy smile to the owner of said radio before turning back to head off on her walk. Only when she turned back around to move her shoulder connected with the firm and warm shoulder of another. On defensive thanks to her training Violet jumped back and put her hands up, waiting and preparing to attack.

The figure was still for a few moments before its hands shot up in a peaceful gesture trying to signal her down.

Still hearing the crackle of the radio in the background, Violet relaxed ever so slightly as a mellow melody started to play, lowering her hands to her side, she waited for the hooded figure to reveal its intentions and itself. When the hooded figure spoke in the feminine undertone she blinked and watched in mild awe as a thistle colored girl with bright red hair emerged from within the hood into view. Mouth agape Violet was stunned, shocked, outright floored by the sight. Could she be......Naddlian? Here?! How!

A million and one questions bombarded her brain however before she could speak the girl was on fast approach and speaking. Slowing the gears in her mind Violet paused her questions in favor of taking in all the information the girl was giving. "Rebels..." She repeated, the surprise evident in her tone, along with already a hint of skepticism. This couldn't be the truth, Violet told herself and desperately found herself wanting to believe even while listening to all the actual facts the other female knew about her home world, sure a few things like why the monarchy would place rebels here and not just rid of them like normal came into question but the rest......the rest...

and him.

The little alien was so caught up in the moment that she hadn't given a second thought about her mind having previously flooded with somewhat revealing questions.

No.

No! Shaking her head Violet turned hesitant and confused eyes to the other girl taking her in again as her mind questioned if this could be a trap by those rogue telepaths, remembering the broadcast from the radio of what she caught Violet clutched her hands tightly. Hands. She would just have the girl show her, her hands! All rebels would have the palm mark from the government just like Violet had. Almost as if on cue with her thoughts the girl moved a hand to Violets shoulder and spoke, "we're wasting time...I know living here in this world has made you uneasy...but we need you. Your people need you, please come with me...I promise I will clear up any and all question you likely have on the way to the Sister Island." The red-headed Naddlian turned a genuine look towards Violet letting her hand slip from Violet's shoulder now that a speck of comfort had been delivered.

With a deep exhale Violet smiled a little stronger, quelled from her small panic attack for the moment at the promise. After all, Naddlian's rarely lied, considering their lies could easily be discovered given the right touch. Ok Vi. She tried to mentally encourage herself, everyone deserves a chance and she hasn't given you a reason to doubt her other than just popping in out of the blue right? Right! With a nod Violet prepared to follow the girl, gaining a giggle for her head gesture and blushing.

"Come on! Everyone's going to be so pleased to see you! " The girl chirped happily before snatching Violet's hand and pulling her off towards the Sister Islands. "Yes! I'm..so happy you found me." Violet gave a lazy, though obviously nervous reply back to the girl, not for being worried anymore no. Her butterflies were filled at the stomach as humans liked to say, so nervous to be seeing him...after all this time. So nervous that she hadn't even taken note that when she asked the other girl her name, she was given an Earth name in response.

Ginger took Violet as quickly and with as little actual talking as possible, when Violet would question her, she would take a moment before giving a vague answer or drawing Violets attention with one of her own questions. At first the questions were things like how Violet was, if her powers were still functioning here on Earth, then they casually slipped into questions like if she was comfortable at the academy and about any and all traps Violet might have sprung while there.

Thankful for her mind being off of her own sickening nervousness, Violet didn't noticed the odd shift in questions about the sidekick academy at all, or even how Ginger knew she was attending.

Smiling as they boarded the boat to the Three Sister Islands, she sat across from the other girl happily biting her lip content even if she hadn't figure out too much. It was only there in the silence that Violet started to think a little more and again almost on cue she was directed away with an unrelated question.

"Isn't nice here? But I still miss our home, even if we weren't treated well..." Gingers words trailed off and she looked into the water, going silent the red-heads features twisted into a sad expression with just a hint of guilt when she felt the warm hands of Violet rubbing her shoulder in a friendly attempt at comfort. This girl was so nice...maybe she could just. When a long loud whistle sounded she knew it was too late for thoughts like that. Smiling up to the purple girl she giggled and gave her a hug whispering softly, "sorry.. " before releasing Violet and jumping from the boat ahead of her.

Violet noticed the change in her new friend and grew sad, her hair dipped down a little in its upward sway as if mocking the emotion that its owner held. Moving easily in the boat Violet placed her hands on the other girls shoulder, pressing her fingers into the rub to try to relax the other, soothe her, comfort her like Ginger had done for her before. A genuinely sweet and confused smile lit her lips at the hug and sorry. Why sorry? Violet hadn't had the time to ponder that question much as a her friend jumped from the boat as soon as it hit the dock of the island.

"H-hey wait up.." She giggled and called after the running girl, assuming that Ginger was just excited to announce their arrival, after all Violet would be. Was. She was? Yes of course she was excited to see everyone! Violet hadn't noticed her pace slowing, but it did. Coming to a rest at what looked like a makeshift campsite, her head tilted as Ginger disappeared without a glance back into a tent.

Violet furrowed her brows in confusion when she saw a blonde male, Earth male emerge from the tent with Ginger behind him. "Gi-" The first few letters was as far as Violet got in her friend's name before she was took in the back by a large rock. Falling forward her eyes met in mid-fall with Gingers, why, it was all Violet thought and looking into Ginger's eyes before they turned, Violet knew she knew the question and didn't care to answer.

Feeling the breath knocked from her lungs was not a good feeling. Chest, her chest felt like it was on fire as she hit the ground, a gasp sounded as her mouth opened on instinct for the breath she so desperately, frighteningly needed back. Tears of both pain and confused anger formed around the edges of beady blacks, her natural hands gripped onto pieces of the rock that had hit her and scattered around. Hearing the all around laughter spurred her, something in her to move. "Move Violet.." She whispered into the ground and heard one whom she could only assume was the closer blonde male ask her what she had said.

Even though she tried her encourage herself. There. There were so many judging by the laughter. She was...scared.

Scared.

Violet tried to curl to protect herself, her ghost arms flickered into full view, curling above her but doing no good to shield....

"Whats that giving up already, man ******** how pathetic. " Another burst of laughter rang into Violets already ringing ears, this time there was no shock and through the male laughter Violet heard Ginger's laugh. A jab of pain hit Violet in the side which the little alien associated with heartbreak and not the kick that had just been delivered to roll her over.

"Oh sick, ITS crying!" The dark-headed teen that kicked Violet over pressed a boot to her hand threatening to step on it if she didn't answer the next one to speak up, "Ahah. Alright..." The blonde moved over towards Violet and peered down her, clear disgust for the sight of the alien evident as he cooed mockingly, "welcome to Earth honey." A motion of his head brought a pain into Violet's right arm as the boot connected with it. Scream. All she could do was scream.

Violet sobbed into a palm that had found her face, how could this be? After all her training! After all...she didn't feel so heroic. The rogue telepaths started to question her as she lay sobbing, demanding that Violet tell them all she knew about the academy and beating her worse when she refused to spill a single word to them. "See if she's thinking about any ******** thing. " A growl from one sounded, though his voice was blocked by the blood that had pooled into Violet's ears. Her body had went from intense pain to blissfully numb in mere moments at the merciless beating.

Meanwhile, up on one of the hills overlooking the camp stood a tall shadowed figure. It remained still, watching at first, then taking a few steps closer when the group seemed to maul one of their own. What's happening here, Victor thought with a heavy smirk as he approached, little to the telepaths knowledge. Normally Victor had no use for involving himself in such trivial matters however, given he was freshly from prison he was in need of a few...lackeys and what better lackeys than ones that would turn on one another? He wouldn't have as many to potentially kill later.

Standing at a firm, 5'11ft the scruffy eighteen year old moved with ease towards the group, a sort of strut to his step even with how rough he currently looked. The dark red hair must have caught in the corner of the blonde telepaths eye, as he turned just in time to see a playing card fly through the air towards him. "Who the hell are - " Before the question could be completed the card exploded sending the blonde flying back into a large formation of rocks, where he remained lifeless. With what he assumed was the leader down, Victor peered wordlessly up towards the dark-haired male near the badly beaten purple girl on the ground, the girl he had heard being questioned.

So she was from Sidekick Academy? Perhaps this was bigger than lackeys.

"Kadence!" Violet could barely hear Ginger scream out before yet another explosion sounded, she couldn't bring her swollen eyes to open but managed to groan softly on the ground when some of the debris from the explosion hit her side. Was this the end? So they were planning to explode her, bury her in rocks to never be found or ? Boom!

Three explosions, Violet slipped into unconsciousness at the third and remained so until something wet licked at her cheek and brought her back.

Slowly beady, swollen and bruised blacks flickered open to take in a scruffy looking redhead. Who was this? Was he going to hurt her to? Violet felt herself try to curl to her side only to not be able to get much of anywhere with the motion. Two strong warm hands held her tightly to the older males chest and each time she tried to move pain shot through her limbs. On a mewl of pain Violet decided that remaining still and silent was her best bet. Staring up with a silent question she waited for the blue-eyed stranger to speak.

Victor felt the movement and dropped the piece of his shirt he had wet to awaken the alien. Peering down he watched as an attempted struggle was put up and smirked a little for the pain he saw behind the females or what he assumed was females eyes flicker to life. Alright here we go. Victor put on a charming smile to the kid in his arms and motioned with his head up.

Violet winced as her head turned with the motion, her beady eyes widened at the sight of the academy in the distance. He brought her back!? Tears, hot tears flowed from her eyes as she turned back to the unnamed stranger. Her lips quivered lightly as she mouthed a thank you. Victor's hands moved, one holding her at the middle and keeping her in his arms as the other gently moved and wiped her cheeks free of water. A green blush dusted her cheeks and she looked off in embarrassment of how pitiful she looked in front of her unnamed hero. Just about to try to form a sentence even through the pain that was starting to resurface, she turned back only to pause when his lips opened.

"See ya around cutie, try to not get into too much trouble for me hm?" With that Victor sat her down under a nearby tree to be found and headed off on a wink, escaping the island before he was seen by a certain rookie. Violet blinked in disbelief at how fast things had escalated that day. On a deep sigh she leaned against the tree. Her life could have ended today but it- Shaking her head she didn't want to think about the what if. No. All she wanted was to be like him.

A hero.
