First Impressions (Shade X LuneElu) [PRP]

Lune let his guard down seeing the little one behind them.

"I can say I do love a good dinner" his stomach growled as they continued walking. He had been eating sweets all day and a nice leafy bun sounded grand...

"You're most welcome little miss."

Lune's hands were full or he would have shook the little one's hand to be polite. With any luck his new friend would provide dinner for the lot of them....that was his idea.

Rie grinned up at Shade and Lune, "Dad since Mister Lune gave us pie can he have dinner with us?"

Shade smiled and ruffled her hair. "Well that's up to him. What do you think, Lune?"

Lune looked at the youngen and his stomach grumbled yet again.

"I would...be pleased" he politely spoke and followed the two to their home. He was wishing for a hot stew...but anything would sate his stomach at this point. Hard work has a way of doing that.

Shade led Lune back to their house with Rie winding herself between them. Once inside he placed the pie on the table. "Lune, I need a favor. Watch Rie and make sure she oesn't get into the pie while I serve dinner." With that he disappeared into his kitchen.

Rie pouted and crossed her arms having been ratted out, "I just want a taste..."

Lune giggled and atted the head of the little one before he sat at the table to wait.

"Sure you won't need help? I have a tiny slave out here ripe for potato peeling~!" he hollared into the kitchen and smiled widely at the little one, his voice light and joking.

"Besides--you need some more muscle on you right?" he laughed and poked the arm of the little one with gentle feelings.

A laugh came from the kitchen. "No I'm fine. She's a bit of a troublemaker."

"My muscles are just fine!" she said sticking her nose in the air. "Besides, Dad won't let me in the kitchen yet."

Lune Laughed a bit and sighed as he (louder than necessary so her father could hear) spoke "I bet its because he's afraid you will out-bake him." He winked and relaxed back into the chair. He was happy to have the young one around--it was always entertaining to see the grins and cheerful expressions in a house. It was what made it home.

Shade walked out from the kitchen with three bowls of stew. "Here we are, come sit down Rie." He set the bowls and spoons down and smiled.

A smile appeared on her face as she sat in her chair. "I think you are right."
