Afternoon Nap
| In-thread RP Full | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Boris, Gig, Lavius |April 1st |

Roserain
Boris: ... too... hot... *lounges in the grass, refusing to take off his boa*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: o3o FLOOF -comes out of nowhere and flies to the boa, attacking it-

Roserain
Boris: Eh? *lifts up his boa, examining the attached Gig* ... *prods her*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *follows after her little friend, also quite interested in the boa, but stands a respectful amount away* 83

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -snuggling into the boa happily- ^o^! Floooooof.

Roserain
Boris: *flicks an ear, watching her for a moment* ... *can't help but grin and find her adorable*
Alright, you can stay. But tell no one. >.>

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: >> What about Lavius? -shifts ontop of the large boa, struggling a bit so she can look back at her vine-y friend-

musicaloner7
Lavius: *perks her ears, shying away.* ^//^ I won't tell.

Roserain
Boris: Just... neither of you. If Dee and Dum find out I'll never hear the end of it. *sprawls back out in the grass, ears flat in his misery*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *shyly, she steps a little closer, giving a polite little curtsie; flattening out her wings, and bending her knees.* I'm Lavius Fin, sir. ^^' *blinks at the boa curiously*

DarkHeartedSorrows

Gig: -squeals and wiggles the boa at Lavius enticingly, moving over so she can flop into too- And I'm Gig! ... Who are Dee and Dum? o3o Are they your best friends?

Roserain
Boris: *rests his chin on the earth while watching Lavius introduce herself, not sure what to make of the formal introduction. Blinks for a moment, and then scratches his cheek* Well, miss Lavius, I'm Boris Airay. *his tail rises off the grass to wiggle, he then sits up and rests his chin on his hand, turning to Gig*
I suppose you could call them that. They're the Twins that stand guard at the Hatter Mansion. *he jabs the air in the general direction*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -looks in the direction he points for a moment, before turning back to him and tilting her head- Are you a guard too? This is your protective floof right? 8D Like a shield! -nods as if she has it all figured out-

musicaloner7
Lavius: ^//^ You can just call me Lavi, Mr. Airay. *blinks to the boa, stepping tentivley towards it. She leans her head a little further, to sniff at it.* Is... this a tail, Mr. Airay? ^^' *very much confused as to why it's residing so high up on his body*

Roserain
Boris: *looks at the both of them and gives a Cheshire grin* Too cute. The both of you. *Lifts up his boa and encircles the two of them with it.* Boris works just fine lil' miss Lavi~ And no, this *points* is my tail. *wiggles it to demonstrate, the gold piercing making a soft noise*
A guard? Ehhh... I'm a cat. I don't do anything or belong anywhere. I stay at the amusement park though. *he smirks, deciding to have a little fun with them* And yes, this is my shield! How smart of you. See? *fluffs it up around them* Now you're safe.

DarkHeartedSorrows

Gig: -wiggles happily- I knew it! -ducks into the protection of the boa, peeking out- And you use it to keep all the bad guys away from your home in the amusement park! -furrows her eyebrows like a big tough hero keeping an eye out for bad guys-

musicaloner7

Lavius: Oh. o//o *feeling quite silly, she fiddles her paws a little. Hearing the little jingle of the jewelry, her ears p***k, and her eyes blink curiously. Gingerly, she reaches to touch it daintily with a paw, before quickly retracting it, and taking refuge in the comfort of the boa; much like Mama's tail.* What a lovely shield it is. ^^

Roserain
Boris: *Thinks of Gowland and his horrible violin at the park* ... If only it kept out assult to the ears too. >.>;
*Amused by their curiosity, he wiggles his tail above Lavi again*
Uh, yes. Bad guys.
*leans forward and sighs, the heat still bothering him, but can't help smirking and laughing at Gig's tough act.*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -suddenly distracted by the jingling- oxo -whispers- Get it, Lavi.

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Giggles softly, and paws at the piercing. Perking her ears at Gig's whisper, she looks back to the little gold, and carefully grasps it. Holding it a moment, she gives a weak little tug, but clearly fails to remove it* =o ?

Roserain
Boris: *His ear twitches as Gig whispers, trying not to chuckle at their ill kept conspiracy. He bops his tail up and down as Lavi paws at the small trinket, amused. He wasn't prepared for her grabbing it though* Ey! *He only felt a little jolt, more surprise than anything, it was too weak to hurt.* Heh, yes it's attached. xD
If you like it so much, maybe when you're a bit older I an give you one too.

musicaloner7

Lavius: > <; !! *wincing at his reaction, she hunkered down to the protection of the boa, hoping to hide herself.* I-I'm sorry, Mr. Boris... I didn't know... it was apart of you.. *she peeks over, with an apologetic expression on her face. Smoothing some of the boa's fluff down, she eyed the dangley, and flicked the tip of her own tail idly* Does it hurt...?

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: ;o -flicks her ears in apologetic curiosity- Does it go through your tail? Lavi you should get one in your ear! I think your tail might be too furry for it.

Roserain
Boris: *Looks down at the apologetic Lavi, feeling bad that he made her worry* Ah, it's alright lil' Lavi, it didn't hurt, was just surprised. *Fluffs up the furry boa further, trying to comfort her.* Hurt? When I got it? Or now? *Bopping his tail again, he keeps the trinket in sight* It's like... like someone pulling your hair. Or your ears. So just be careful, ok? *He smiles at her, wondering if it's better to tell the truth or lie a little bit*
And nah, it didn't hurt.~
It does go through the tail though. It's a piercing, like the ones in my ear. *Flicks his ears, making his point*

musicaloner7
Lavius: My..ear? *flicks them lightly, and looks to Boris`. Well they did look nice. Murring softly, she nuzzled, and curled up against the fluffed boa, her little wings fluttering momentarily.* I'll be sure not to do it in the future, Mr. Boris. ^^ *she gave a little smile.* Is it proper for young ladies to get them as well?

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: Yeah! Right there -pokes near the base of her ear, looking at Boris's ear for reference- It could be a pretty leaf, like on your vines!

Roserain

Boris: *Watches the two half-pints discuss for a bit before nodding to himself. A little leaf, ay? Surely he had the tools to make one. If he could retool an engine, he could fix a piercing.* A leaf would be good. When you're ready lil' Lavi, you can always come find me. *He gave a cheeky grin, his ears perked in his mirth. Turning, he grinned at Gig* What about you, eh?

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -perks up in surprise- Me? o.o I dunno what I'd get. -flicks her ears experimentally, as if imagining something dangling from them-

musicaloner7

Lavius: ^//^ Oh... that does sound quite cute.. Thank you.. *she looks down at her paws bashfully, before glancing to her friend.* Maybe a butterfly for you, Miss Gig. ^^ A blue one, perhaps?

Roserain

*Looks at Gig, pondering* Well. What makes you... you? What's a Gig? Besides colorful and a half-pint. *He teased her, smiling. He would never have guessed he'd spend his afternoon with two youngsters and actually be having a good time.*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -shrugs- I dunno. o3o I like making friends and playing games, and I like being helpful and running real fast! -gasps at Lavi- You're a genius!!! I love blue butterflies~

Roserain
Boris: *A leaf and a blue butterfly. Huh. He wondered what Alice would get if she wanted a piercing. Blue definitely suited her... Maybe he'd make an earring for her too while he was at it. He laid on his back in the grass, resting his head on the fluff of his boa near Gig and Lavi.* Alright. I'll make them~ *he yawned, the heat making him drowsy*

musicaloner7
Lavius: ^^ *she giggled again, flitting her tied wings. Blinking as Boris shifted, she carefully crept closer to him, and gave a light little sniff at his cheek. She seemed comfortable around him, as he didn't pose any threat or angst towards her. Tilting her head, she stared at his long bangs. What an interesting colour* =o

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -curls up against Boris- That would be so awesome. Thank you! -watches Lavi- o3o

Roserain
Boris: *Can feel the two of them creep closer, and Gig resting against him. He wondered if Alice was having an effect on him. Before her would he have done this? Boris wasn't sure. Still, this was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. His tail twitched idly, and then he realized Lavi was staring at him.* Is... is something on my face? *touches his cheek curiously*

musicaloner7

Lavius: *A little blush warms on her cheeks* ah, no. ^//^ *carefully leans her head to nuzzle his cheek carefully* You're very pretty too, Mr. Boris. Like miss Gig is, as well.

Roserain
Boris: *Feels his eyes go wide as warmth floods his face. His ears press back, almost disappearing into his hair, and for a moment can't think.* I...thank you. You are very pretty as well lil' miss Lavi. *With his mind made up, he snuggles them together in his boa, wishing it really could protect them. These two were just too much, and he couldn't bare the thought of them getting hurt. From now on he'd have to keep an eye out for them.*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: I try to tell her that~ I'mma drag her infront of a mirror and make her point out all the things beautiful about herself. -giggles and being snuggled and yawns widely, getting tired-

musicaloner7

Lavius: o////o; *gasping softly, she burries her head into the boa, in an effort to hide herself.* Y-you're both much too kind... *she murmurs, curling her tail around herself*

Roserain
*Laughs heartily at Gig's comment and Lavi's shyness* Oh, I'll be beating the boys off of both of you, I'm sure. *He winked then, intending to keep good on his word. Relaxing into the warmth, it was much more comfortable now that afternoon was settling in. Yawning, he debated on taking a cat nap*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Glancing at the new friend she'd made, she hesitently scootched closer, and nuzzled her head against his cheek, curling up beside him. She made sure to keep her budding horns from poking at him, as she'd had to with her mother, and gave a small sigh of content. Little eyes slowly began to lower, as she did her best to fight off the coaxing sleep*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -her voice going rough with sleepiness- You can beat em off if I don't get to them first~ -yawns again and snuggles more into to Lavi and Boris to get comfy-

Flying
| In-thread RP Snippet | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Boris, Lavi | April 3rd |

Roserain
I love this wind, gotta say heart

Boris: *clings to his tree branch perch* It's like riding a roller coaster, without the coaster! 8D!

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Wings keep getting even more tangled in her vines; the wind whipping them around.* > <;

Roserain
Boris:*Sees Lavi getting buffeted by the storm and jumps down from his perch to stand over her, trying to shield her as he yells above the wind* Lavi! Come up in the tree with meeee~ The branches and leaves block some of the wind. *He didn't mention that the tree rocked horribly in the storm, but that was the fun part, right?*

musicaloner7
Lavius: o///o M-Mr. Boris... *she peek up at him from his protective stance, in much awe of his stature. Giving a small nod, she curls her form closer to him, as her tangled wings prevent her from flying.* > <;

Roserain
Boris:*He picks her up (I don't know how xD) and climbs the tree once more, making sure she was safely tucked against him so as not to fall. Once on the branch, he keeps her secure and wraps the boa around her comfortingly, enjoying the swaying of the tree and the rustle of leaves* Not bad right?

musicaloner7
Lavius: {By the scruff? x} } *She squeeks lightly when lifted, but soon calms. The embrace of his fluff made her think of her mother's plush tail, instantly putting her at ease. Cuddling close, she wavers her ears at the move of the branch. A little smile peeks on her face, enjoying the feeling.* It's quite fun. x3 This must be what flying feels like.. *peeks curiously out from the protection of her friend to peer down over the branch* =o

Roserain
Boris:*He watches for a moment, to see how she would react, and his tail waved happily when she seemed to be enjoying herself. Flying, eh? He leans back against the trunk and thinks about it.* I bet your right lil' miss Lavi~ Pretty fun, eh? *He holds on as she peers over, supporting the shift of her weight* I gotcha~

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Wriggling her tail, she try's to spread her tangled wings, but fails as the vines are much too entwined.* Mama loves flying. She say's it's like playing with the wind. ^^ *she nods, almost slipping, but quickly retreats back to the felines protection. Shyly, she burries herself against him, curling up neatly.* This is how you fly, Mr. Boris..? c=

His name is Kite
| In-thread RP Snippet | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Boris, Lavi | April 5th |

Roserain
Boris:*Lazes about, utterly bored* >8

musicaloner7
Lavius: *managed to slip away from her mother, to chase after a butterfly* ^^ <3

Roserain
Boris:*Watches Lavi with a grin, rolling onto his back and inspecting his tail piercing; the butterfly reminding him of the trinket he promised Gig.* hm~

musicaloner7
Lavius: *prances after it, but stumbles over her vines.* > <; *standing back up, she shakes herself off with a little huff. The butterfly backtracks and lands right on her nose. Blinking, she crosses her eyes to look at it, giggling softly.* ^^ <3

Roserain
Boris:>w< *Can't help but find that hopelessly cute. He wonders what it would be like if he and Alice ever.. and had kids... ... And then shakes his head.* Looks like you made a friend Lavi~

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Pricks her ears to the sound of her dear friend.* Mr. Boris. ^^ *gives a polite, lady-like, curtsie, before watching the butterfly take roost upon one of her budding horns. Smiling ever so slightly, she looks to him.* Oh yes. He always comes to visit me during the day. <3 I call him Kite.

Roserain
Boris:*Sits up properly as Lavi curtsies, shaking off the clinging grass* Hey lil' miss Lavi *pauses for a moment*, and Kite. Appropriate name. He follows you? *The thought was quite interesting. The butterfly stuck around on it's on freewill? He was instantly fascinated and focused on the pretty bug, his tail twitching.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Flicking an ear, feeling the little companion's wings graze along them, she smiled in a cherubic manner.* Oh yes. I found him in one of the flowerbeds. Isn't he quite lovely? When I began to return to Mama, he followed after me and I found him clinging to my vines. ^^

Innies and Outies
| In-thread RP Fullish? | People involved: Roserain | Noodles involved: Boris, Gig, Stylo, Sombre | April 6th |

Roserain
*arts in the shadows*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Sombre: -eyes Rose and makes the shadows move around her just enough to be noticeable-

Roserain
!
*dives back into the shadow* Dx

Boris:*Laughs and watches with his tail flicking, amused*

DarkHeartedSorrows
Sombre: -smirks, creating little shadow spiders that crawl up her arms, his little shadow balls flickering and growing small with the effort of animation-

Roserain
*does the oh-s**t-I-just-walked-into-a-spiderweb dance* DDDDDx!! crying
Whyyyyyyyy? *sobs*

Boris:*Wishes he could do cool tricks like that, and perches up in his favorite tree, ears flicking as he grins in amusement*

Boris you suck! Help meeeee Dx!

Boris: Why? You're perfectly fine.

DarkHeartedSorrows
Sombre: -grins and lets the spiders melt back into the shadows, flopping down onto his belly where he was contently- Mmmmm....

Roserain
*Still dances for a good while even after the spiders disappear, still feeling her skin prickling and tweaking* Dx! ((don't get me wrong, I like spiders, just not on me xD))

Boris:Aww, back to being bored. *Lounges on his branch dramatically, huffing in exaggerated boredom*

>| *Throws her shoe at him*

Boris:*Dodges easily* |D ~

Znaruto
Roserain
And oh my xDDD
StyloxBoris babies would be horribly sexy and deadly rofl

Stylo: Wait what!?

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -rushes out and nearly glides up the tree in her hurry, flopping on Boris- I'll keep you entertaaaaained!

Sombre: -completely content to ignore all those around him while they're not too close-

Roserain
Boris:... Did you really say that?

*Nods* It's true~

Boris:*makes a horrified face, his chains rattling as he paces on his branch before looking down at Stylo.* No offense man, but I prefer innies, not outies.

EDIT:
Boris:*Catches the incoming Gig, glad he has good balance* Hey Giggle! What's up? <3~

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -squees- Nuffin! ... What's an outie? o3o

Znaruto
Stylo: *laughs* What the hell does that mean?

Roserain
Boris:*Looks to Gig, then to Stylo, then back to Gig, clearly confused and embarrassed.* Uh, well. Well... I'm a boy, so I have an outie, but you're a girl, so you're an innie. *Turns red* And that's all I'm saying on that! *Ears folding back at Stylo's laugh, feeling rather awkward having to explain to a youngin' something he shouldn't be explaining*

Znaruto
Stylo: *on the floor laughing his a** off* HAHAHAHAHAHA! I can see! I like to kill everything so no matter to O'Stylo~

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: Oh! You like girls. -nods, but doesn't understand it sexually- Of course you like girls. You're friends with me and Lavi! But I dunno why you can't be friends with him too. -peeks down at Stylo-

Roserain
Boris:*Ears and tail droop at Stylo's obvious mirth and Gig's lack of understanding* Uhhhh. Uh. You see, there's like and then there's like like. And I think the kind of friendship Stylo would be interested in would require tag using my guns.~ *The idea was welcomed in his mind, as a good fight and challenge were always awesome, but in front of Gig? He couldn't, he didn't want her to see that side of him.*

Znaruto
Stylo: *keep laughing* Kill! Kill! BANG BANG SHOOT EM UP! HAHAHAHA! I love tag with gun!

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: You mean like when you're best friends? 8D -- Guns? Guns aren't nice. -glares down at Stylo and sticks her tongue out at him- You shouldn't play with guns! It's not nice! Not nice at all. You can't make friends that way!

Roserain
Boris:*Looks down at Stylo, unable to help the predator in him becoming a little excited at the idea of a good hunt and gun fight. Alice would kill him though. Well, if he didn't die of natural causes from bullet wounds first.* Gig... I guess it's kinda like that. Like, a special best friend. Like... like... how old are you anyway? *Raises and eyebrow at her* And the kind of friends Stylo would play gun tag with would like it, even though they might only be around for another 5 minutes or so.

Znaruto
Stylo: *looks at the kit* HAHAHAHAHA Gun! Gun Are AWESOME! FUN TO! *make a funny face at her* BOO! *put on his mask* Hey Pink boy you sure know how to say words, don't cha!?

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -puffs up a bit in confusion- Old enough to have a special best friend, right? 8D! I want one. But not one like Stylo. I don't wanna play gun tag. :c

Roserain
Boris:*Looks down at Stylo, amused and likin' the mask. Pink boy, eh?* Words? What, English? English and I get along just fine~

((*sputters* xDD Boris xD))

Boris:*Turns to Gig and eyes her seriously* >| I hope not. I would have to hurt him, if you did. Or... her? *Quirks an eyebrow at his little friend, but can't help laughing about the Stylo comment* Good! No gun tag for you, and no special best friend until you're at least a little older. You'd make me sad if you had one now.

Znaruto
Stylo: *laughs* AWww No play with O'Stylo! 8C I like to play! *look at Boris and Laugh* Funny huh! I still wanna Kill something! KILL!

DarkHeartedSorrows
Gig: -looks devastated- I don't want you to be sad D: And I definitely don't want you to hurt anybody. -curls into his boa and smiles a little- No special friend til I'm older. I promise.

Roserain
Boris:*Watching Stylo, he can feel his hackles rise. If he didn't cut the tension soon, a fight would break out. Part of him wanted it dearly, but he couldn't put Gig in danger* Funny, wise a**, I've been called a few things, yea. Stylo~ How about you and me play tomorrow?~
*Can't help but blush a little as Gig snuggles into his furry boa, touched that she would worry about his happiness. Holding her close, he nodded* Good, I just don't want you hurt Giggles. *He thought about making a violent promise, but eying Stylo again, he thought better of it. Chances are he'd take Boris up on the offer, and he'd have unintentionally put Gig right in harm's way.*

Znaruto
Stylo. -.- Ohhh okkk *make a sad face under his mask* BUT I Better be fun! *point at Gig* You! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I will make sure no one kill/hurt you! I'm the only one that should do that!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok Pink boy!

Roserain
Boris:*Can hear the obvious disappointment in Stylo's voice, and can't help but agree that a fight would've been fun.* It'll be fun, promise >D *Watches as he points to Gig, and feels his hackles raise at the eerie promise. It sounded remarkably like something Ace would say, and it chilled him to think of that. On the other hand, he knew Stylo would be good on his word. It was trading one problem for another, to be sure. He would just have to be around Gig when Stylo was, and quicker with a gun too.*

Dare
| In-thread RP Full | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Boris, Anat | April 7th |

Roserain
Boris: *Squirms on the floor, bored* Blah. Hot. Bored. Suck :/

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *spring leaps clear over him and turns around smiling* Terribly sorry about that.

Roserain
Boris:*An ear twitches as someone sails overhead, Boris not even bothering to get up as he raises his tail and bops it in a wave* Eh, you didn't land on me, so no trouble here. *Rolls onto his side, eying the newcomer* ...You wouldn't happen to like riddles, by chance?

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: Why of course I didn't land on you. *rolls eyes* I have better aim then that. *flicks tail and sits down* Well that depends my fine feathered friend. Do you like games?

Roserain
Boris:*Paying no mind to her indignation, he flopped onto his belly and gave her serious attention when she mentioned 'games'. His tail flicked idly back and forth as he eyed her face.* Absolutely, depending on the game you're proposing~

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she smirked her ears flicking forward as she looked at him innocently* Why dear heart you are assuming I was proposing a game. I simply asked if you liked them. Don't get ahead of yourself. Its bad for you. *her tone was mildly chiding and motherly*

Roserain
Boris:*His ears folded back at her pretense, knowing she had got him soundly.* Awww~ *he acted put out, though this wordplay was game enough for him* Well that's a shame. I thought you looked too old to enjoy games. Oh well... *He sighed, rolling away to put his back to her and dragged his chains across the ground*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she glared for a moment but schooled her expression* Why, dear one I don't know what you are talking about. Didn't you know? We of the female variety age like wine. The older we are the better we are. *she slipped past him her tail snaking around to pop him on the head lightly* I forgive your ignorance child. You are after all too young, you must just be out of diapers I imagine.

Roserain
Boris:*He grinned when he heard the slight agitation in her voice, but then had the unwelcome visual of popping the head off of a girl-shaped bottle and blood spilling out. That was... awkward. Distracted by the disturbing thought, he missed the incoming tail until it fwapped him soundly, though not causing any pain it was a bit surprising and sent his tail out straight. Tsking, he shook his head gently* Stooping to age jokes are we, mom? What a shame you let a young thing like me get your dander up. I bet you're rather pretty without a scowl~

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she blinked and turned to look at him over her shoulder* Darling I am always pretty. And no child of mine would ever be so... well you get my point. *her smile was devilish* I am not in the least bit upset sweetheart. Nay I dare say I am quite enjoying myself. You are amusing despite your obvious faults.

Roserain
Boris:*She reminded him a little bit of the Red Queen, whom always proved amusing. Though he didn't think Vivaldi was old enough to have kids. Boris sprawled out in his best sexy pose, making it look effortless due to his feline nature. The trinket on his tail chimed pleasantly as his tail swayed.* I must admit this is much better than being bored. Even if the company is somewhat unusual. And children you say? Grandchildren too, perhaps? *He gave her an innocent face, flicking an ear*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she seemed not the least bit interested in him. Her eyes trailing away from him to drift around their surroundings* Perhaps someday but I doubt any will come from my first brood. They are... unique in their thoughts on children. And... traditional I suppose you could say. *she gave a sweet smile seemingly falling into her own thoughts before snapping back to attention* But that is neither here nor there. You were saying you were bored?

Roserain
Boris: *His curiosity was peeked. Apparently he'd hit a nerve, or at least a topic of interest. It took all of his self restraint to not prod it further, but ooooh did he want to. Still, she didn't right out leave either, he might have some time yet to figure out the mystery. This was turning out to be quite fun* My... condolences? And yes, at least I was. Then someone happened to jump over me and tease me with the thought of a game, only to leave me hanging. *His ears drooped, embellishing the exaggerated hurt in his face.*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she rolled her eyes and turned fully to face him* Not needed. *she stood stepping back over to him her golden fur ruffling lightly in the breeze. She stood over him her stance clearing showing her dominate nature* You are such a child. Very well since I was so horrible in teasing you I will play ONE game. And only one so choose well little one.

Roserain
Boris: *Her body language was clear as day, but he didn't give a damn. Lounging on the floor, he faced her with a wide grin, pleased with himself. He 'hmmm'ed to himself as he thought, wondering what to challenge her at. He was feeling too lazy to get off the ground, so it would have to be mental of some kind. A riddle? Cards? Ohhh he knew just the thing.* Truth or dare. Just one round. We both get one turn. Sound fair?~

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she rolled her eyes and preened feeling far to pleased with herself and far to amused with the silly male below her.* Just one round of truth or dare? Doesn't sound very interesting but if thats what you want then so be it. I am not one to deny another his fancy. Who goes first?

Roserain
Boris: *He cocked an eyebrow at her, interested that she would find his company so tolerable that she would've stayed for more than a single round. Wriggling on the ground a bit with his eyes closed to stretch out his back, he looked rather content.* I would've suggested longer, but I didn't want to bother you with my childish curiosities~ Still, if after the round you'd like to continue further... *He opened one eye and looked at her, smiling slightly* I wouldn't mind. In any case, ladies first~ *He indicated her, to close the opening on the easy jab.*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she tilted her head slightly ear flicking at his comment* You hardly annoy me, even with your curiosity. I am not so dull. *she sat curling her tail around herself and looking as noble as her children normally did* Very well kitty cat, truth or dare?

Roserain
Boris: *He flicked his tail as she moved, debating for a moment on changing his position, but thought it would be too much trouble. In truth he knew she wasn't dull, and found her rather entertaining, but the banter was just all part of the play; he was fairly sure she knew that too.* Dare. Of course. Where's the fun in the truth? *Ears perked forward as he rolled onto his side to face her, curious to what challenge she'd offer.*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: There can be a lot of fun in truth. If you ask the right questions. Its all a matter of what you ask and what you need to know. *she flicked her tail looking down at him amused* Well Kitty Cat you are brave. Dare right out of the gate, lets see lets see. Should I start out mean or work my way there? *she teased him with a small smirk* I dare you to, oh I suppose I should be nice to start with. I dare you to go jump into the lake, over there and return to me dripping wet and with a flower. Any flower is fine.

Roserain
Boris: *he feigned shock and injury, acting mortified at her request. If she had known him better, perhaps even asked his name or where he came from, she'd have known he lived at an amusement park; where the water rides were his only method of cooling off in summer. A cat that liked water? Yes. And the surprise of people when they learned that made it all the sweeter.
Still, there was trouble in her dare, as he refused to take off his furry boa and chains. He would just have to hope that the pond was shallow and the water fairly clean.*
----- Time lapse ----
*Completely soaked and trailing water everywhere, he returned with a gift. A flower, as promised. He dropped the water lily; pad, frog, stem, and all; right next to her. The frog did not approve and hopped away with a croak.
Flopping down, he acted as if he'd just survived a horrible ordeal and didn't wish to speak of it. Instead, he only muttered* Truth or dare.
*And then proceeded to attempt to press water out of his boa*

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she giggled lightly at him and patted the top of his head. It hadn't been that bad, she knew that. After all it was only a small lake it was fairly clean she had swam in it many times and she found his acting amusing but said nothing.* Dare darling. *she stated picking up the flower and pulled the flower from the pad putting it on his head while she tucked the lily behind her ear the white standing out nicely against her golden fur.*

Roserain
Boris: *Flattening his ears to better balance the pad, he acted as if it were a fine hat and even tilted the 'brim' at her, as she tucked the lily behind her ear. This inspired an idea. She has said dare, and it could work to his advantage on many levels. It would irk Mary, perhaps even Pierce, and might just make Alice look twice. Oh, and besides the manipulation part, it would probably be fun to boot. Well! He couldn't think of a better one, so why not?
Bowing his head slightly, making sure to hold onto his lily pad hat, he smirked at her as water dripped from his hair.* The lady has chosen. I dare you to spend a day at the amusement park with me. You must have fun, that's the only thing. Oh, and it's not a date~ *he winked then* unless you want it to be.

Dreaming Wide Awake
Anat: *she quirked a brow at him and laughed at his antics.* Hmmm *her tail flicking lightly as she pondered his dare* Hmmm... *she looked him up and down before nodding slightly* Very well, I accept, though I don't know where this place is, and if you mean today then it wouldn't exactly be an entire day but whatever. *she shrugged* Its whatever you want it to be... its your dare. I am but the unwilling pawn in this. Even if I did want it to be a date because I find you so attractive it wouldn't matter. You are only using me. *she feigned hurt. Putting a paw over her heart lightly and pulling tears to her glassy green eyes. Looking for all the world like she was truly heartbroken.*

Roserain
Boris: *He pretended to hang onto her 'hmmm's with abated breath, though if she were drawing it out, he knew the answer already. A no was always a quick thing. When she agreed his ears perked, causing his lily pad hat to look rather lopsided and silly indeed. Flicking his tail at her compliment, he was abashed enough to feel his cheeks warm from the flattery, whether it was a heartfelt statement or not.* A day I asked, and a day it will be~ So not now, no, but soon. I'll let you know when I plan to collect. *He nearly purred the last bit, already his plan taking shape within his mind.
At her emotional theatrics, he felt a twinge of guilt, though he was sure she was putting on a show, there was perhaps some truth in it. Pondering a moment, he flattened his ears once more to straighten his 'hat' before eying her.* Fair enough, I'll level with you. There is an aspect of fun to it for me beyond just your company, and there's someone I'm hoping to turn the head of. *Perhaps the heart of too, he thought quietly, but found it better to keep that part to himself.*
But~ I promise you I'll show you fun. *He stood up straighter, trying to look honorable* And I'll do nothing out of line... unless you start something. *He gave a coy grin, his tail bopping again.*

Famously Cute
| In-thread RP Snippet | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Lavi | April 8th |

musicaloner7
Lavius: *blinks, completly oblivious to the going on's.*

Roserain
Boris: *Pat's her head affectionately*

musicaloner7
Lavius: ^^ *forms a tiny smile* You're very popular, arn't you, Mr. Boris? Everyone seems to like you. *sways her tail.*

Roserain
Boris: *Looks down at her with his ears flopped* Eh? I certainly hope not. It's not easy to sneak around with someone calling out your name every couple'a minutes. :>

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Tilts her head just a tad* But you're so lovely, Mr. Boris. How could others not call out to you? ^^

Roserain
Boris: *His tail shoots up as he blushes, not bothering to hide his embarrassment.* Wha... You really think so lil' Lavi? *He scratches his cheek, thinking.* Well, you must have people following you around then. You're so cute, how could they not?~

musicaloner7
Lavius: *giggles softly at his reaction, padding a little closer to give a gentle nuzzle to his leg.* Of course. In both body and soul. ^^ *sways her tail, peeking up at him. She gasps lightly, pricking her ears.* ^//^ Oh... the only companion who follows me around would be Kite, when he's not sleeping in the tulip beds.

Roserain
Boris: *His ears stand up as she touches him, feeling hypersensitive to the contact and rather mushy at her words.* You... are just too cute. TOO CUTE. *He quickly wraps her up into his boa and snuggles her, his tail bopping in his amusement.* Have I told you how cute you are? Because you're unbearably cute. Also, Lavi, you're cute. *He purred happily as he nuzzled her, careful not to squish her small frame. If she got any cuter he might squeal and he would never live it down. Jeez, why were girls so adorable?*

musicaloner7
Lavius: o///o *she squeeks at his reaction, pricking her ears as well. The sudden cuddle makes her blush furiously, and instictivly cling to him. The nuzzles quickly made her murr softly, and curl up in his hold.* ^///^ I simply speak the truth, Mr. Boris.. *The flattery made her squeeze her eyes closed at the tingling warmth at the tips of her ears. She was very much flustered at this point, not quite sure what to say. Instead, she simply nuzzled under his chin.*

Roserain
Boris: *He can feel her small body clinging to his, and he amazed at how small she was* And that's why you're cute. You're so honest, and so kind and~ you're just so unbelievably cute. *Feeling her nuzzle under his chin, his ears folded while his tail curled against her protectively* You know if you need anything to come to me right? And if anyone makes you feel sad you tell me too, I'll set them straight. >|

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Looking up to him, she smiles bashfully.* Thank you... You are very kind as well, Mr. Boris. Mother Nature must have really taken a liking to you, since you so clearly possess her attributes. ^//^ *ever so daintily, she gently licks along his cheek. A sure sign of comfortability around/with him.*

Roserain
Boris: *He blinks down at her innocent face as she compliments him further. Mother Nature, eh? He supposed so, he did have his animal skills. An ear flicked in thought as he pondered on this, before he felt something soft and wet against his cheek. His tail bottle-brushed instantly, eyes going wide and pupils becoming slits. He looked like a cat that just got it's tail caught in the door. Getting over the shock quickly, he folded her into his furs ((it's what he calls his boa)) and further against him, holding her tight.*
I... Lavi. Thank you. I won't let anything bad happen to you, ever. I promise.
*Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine...
He couldn't help but be possessive of her, knowing that some day she'd grow up and get hurt simply because that was life; but already he was slowly killing the culprit in his head. Whoever made her suffer would pay dearly.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *A soft blush was painted on her bridge at the tightening grip, his warmth engulfing her small frame. Her cheek smoothed against his in the outcome, making her eyes slowly close in a relaxed manner. The little vixen managed a feminin soft murr, her already petite state curling into almost a ball. Having the comfort of the furs made her feel ever so comfortable, much like Mama's tail.* I will try the same for you, Mr. Boris...

A Promise Kept
| In-thread RP Full | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Lavi | April 24th |

Roserain
Boris: *Sits under his favorite tree, thinking quietly*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *All grown* ^^

*Sitting by the flowerbeds, tail neatly curled around her paws, watching the butterflies dance about.*

Roserain
Boris: *His ears perk first before Boris raises his head, seeing Lavi and nodding with a grin.* Good Afternoon Miss Lavi~
*The tip of his tail bobs in a wave, reminding him of a certain thing he'd been working on.*
Remember that earring I promised you?

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Her ears perk, and deep olive eyes slide to look to her dear friend. Smiling lightly, she gives a polite curtsie, her wings flattening out.* Hello, Mr. Boris. *the butterflies flitted in a little spiral around her, dancing in various designs. A tilt of her head at his question, her smile brightened more.* Indeed, I do.

Roserain
Boris: *If he had met her now, the young adult she'd become, he probably would've been captivated by her; he realized. He didn't know what to do with that thought, and instead pushed it aside. His eyes followed the butterflies momentarily, curious to their patterns, before focusing on her again.*
Good! I have a gift then...
*Gently pulling something from his boa, he gripped a small, golden birch leaf. He offered it to her quietly, in truth a little proud of the craftsmanship, his first time attempting something so intricate.*
Here~

User Image

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Gold tangled wings neatly folded against her back again. Stepping lightly to him, the butterflies following loyaly, she looked to see what he had presented before her. Long ears perked up, as well as a small gasp.* Mr. Boris.. *she murmured, gazing upon the shiney material. Settling before him, she extended a dainty paw to carefully take the trinket, grazing his in the process. She held it as if it were a delicate water droplet, and cupped it close to her.* It's so beautiful.. *her other paw traced along it's gold veins softly, in complete awe of his feat. A warm smile curved on her face as she looked back to him.* But I should not be suprised as one as lovely as you would surely be able to produce something so extrodinarly breath-taking as well.. *her eyes twinkled, looking back down to the metal, feeling it's cool sensation.* I thank you, Mr. Boris.. *she gave another polite bow in thanks, seeing as her kit ways of affection would prove inappropriate at her later age and stature.*

Roserain
Boris: *Blushing at her obvious pleasure at the pendant, he smiled sheepishly as she took it from him, feeling the warmth of her light touch. His eyes lingered on her face as she looked it over, amused and proud of her delight in the trinket. Boris didn't know how to handle the praise though, and his blush deepened.*
I... uh. Hee hee~
*He scratched his cheek in his embarrassment, still smiling.*
I'm glad you think so. Was a challenge making something pretty enough for you.
*His smile broadened into a cheshire grin, nodding his head in turn to her formal thanks.*
Does this mean you'll wear it Lavi? You know, I don't mind if you'd rather not pierce your ear. You could always wear it as a necklace or somethin'.

musicaloner7
Lavius: *A few of the butterflies hovered around the earring, some even daring to taste it, as they were quite fastinated by the metal as well. Tracing along the outside of it, she looked back up to him.* Anything you would have crafted would be lovely enough, to me. *the vine on her paw curled a little more around her leg, a few soft lavender leaves growing along it.* Of course I shall wear it, Mr. Boris. I am honoured to have something so beautiful to hold close to me. *she flicked her ear, pondering the idea.* And... I believe with the demon blood that runs in my veins, I shall be able to withstand the minimal amount of pain it shall possess attatching to my ear. *she paused.* If I may... what material did you use for it? ..I must admit, I am ignorant to such a feel.. *blinks, looking to his tail, a soft blush managing to tint her cheeks* Aside from... the little trinket on your tail.. *her head turned with a featherly giggle, a paw placing before her lips to stiffle it, as it wasn't very lady-like.*

Roserain
Boris: *He wondered if he'd ever get used to his lil' Lavi being all grown up. Her movements were graceful and delicate, something that had been hard for him to translate into metal. An ear flicked as she spoke, shaking his head softly.*
Maybe, but I wanted to represent you, not just be a... a thing.
*Her sincerity made him blush, turning away a moment to gain his composure. When she was little he could simply fawn over how cute she was and there was none of the awkwardness of realizing that she was... well, a woman. There was no question he was devoted to Alice, even if she never felt the same, but seeing Lavi as something more was getting harder to overlook. He still felt like her big brother, but she didn't need that anymore. His role in her life was... altered, somehow. Turning to face her again, he wished he knew how to act around her. Perhaps just like he always had? Would that be too weird now?*
Lavi...
*He didn't know what else to say about the comment of her keeping it close. The sentiment was touching, and his chest puffed out a bit at knowing he did a job well done.
Listening to her explain her tolerance and questioning the metal, his eyes gleamed. Now here was something he could go on about!*
Interesting... well, if you'd like me to, I can. As for the material... *he looked at her with a grin*
At first I tried to make this by hand, and found I just wasn't able to make it delicate enough. So, I turned to mother nature, so to speak. I used a real birch leaf to make the cast. As for the metal, it's a mix of gold and a metal alloy. Though...
*he pointed at the leaf*
I made it with a high percentage of gold, which gives it the soft feel. You'll have to be gentle with it because of that though. Gold scratches. That's what the alloy mix is for, gives it strength and endurance.
*His tail waved as he spoke, animated by the topic; purposefully making the pendant chime. He remembered that afternoon fondly, winking at her at the mention of the memory.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: Anything made by you shall always represent more than just a "thing" to me, Mr. Boris. *she spoke softly, holding the jewlery close to her chest.* I shall always have a part of you with me, now. Beside's what is already in my heart. *smiles lightly.* Always watching over me. *her eyes closed somewhat shyly, the vine on her paw twining around his gift, the leaves turning a gentle pink to match what stained along her cheeks, with a few more sprouting. The butterflies took to laying around her neatly, their wings wavering gently. But one dared to stay close to her, resting at the bend of her wings. Kite. The tip of her tail lightly flicked slowly, as she gazed back up to him.* I would love if you would perform the ritual upon me, as I do not know any other who might be able to. Nor one whom I would trust to do as such more than you.. *turning her head ever so slightly, hoping the tree design on her face might hide her blush, she listened intently to him. Rather taken by his process, her ears perked as he mentioned 'mother nature'. Her features brightened further, a sense of pride swelling within her.* Oh Mr. Boris. I am so glad to hear that you've tapped in with her. She is quite remarkable, is she not? *a brilliant smile resided on her face.* I shall make sure to treat this precious gift with the upmost respect and care.. as I do with the butterflies, and the rest of Mother Nature's children. *she bowed her head again, peeking down at her paws to the gold, feeling the vines twine more around it. Her eyes couldn't help but glance up to him at the sounds of his jewelry, making her blush further at his playful wink* You are quite amazing, Mr. Boris.. containing so much useful information to create such beauty..

Roserain
Boris: *Ears folded as she spoke with candor, visibly affected by her tenderness. His eyes narrowed slightly, a sign of contentment for him rather than anger due to his feline nature, while he searched for the right words. His attention caught by the vine creeping it's way along the surface of the golden leaf, it's leaves changing hue. It was rather miraculous to watch and he became extremely curious. It was hard to pull his focus away from it, but the distraction had made it slightly easier to speak.*
And always will be Lavi, you know that. If you ever need me, you know where to find me.
*His gaze became harder for a moment, wanting to drive the point that he really meant it. As far as he was concerned, she was family of one sort or another. Nodding again when she asked that he be the one that would do the piercing, Boris was glad to do it for her; though he worried about possibly causing her a bit of pain. He didn't have time to linger on the notion; however, as Lavi started to seemingly glow about the origin of her gift. He couldn't help but smile with her, the joy and love in her expressions contagious.*
I'm glad I did then, it seemed only fitting for you Lavi~ I wanted it to be as realistic as possible.
*His grin widened further, his knowledge of metalwork earning him the reward of her praise.*
Heh, I just like things that are graceful and purposeful. There's a beauty to function. And I like to create things, it's satisfying, you know?
*He shrugged, helping ease his boa off from around his shoulders so that he could drape it around her own, careful of her wings. It was a spur of the moment thing, remembering how she'd snuggle into it and how he'd promised his two young friends that it would protect them. In some odd way, he hoped it sincerely would.*
In any case, would you like me to help with that piercing now? I gotta admit, I'm excited to see how that leaf looks on you~
*He titled his head while looking at her, trying to imagine it.

musicaloner7
Lavius: *She couldn't help but feel proud of him. He'd found a way to incorperate a piece of her into the precious trinket. Her delicate vine managed to concoct a leaf that resembled the one he'd given her, taking it's sheen as well.* So remarkable.. I am strucken by awe, I must say.. so exceptional.. *Deep olive eyes brimmed with warmth at his genuine kindness. The little butterflies skittered out of the way as the male laced his boa around her. She gave a little nod in agreement, understanding him completly. Almost instinctivly, she leaned it to rest against him, as she used to curl up with him when she was a kit. Her head rested against his chest lightly, murring at the delicate embrace of his boa. Comfort instantly succumbing to her. She didn't even seem to notice she'd done as such, as she was still quite used to her young ways.* I am ready when ever is most conveiniant for you, Mr. Boris.. *she murmured, eyes slowly closing.*

Roserain
Boris: *For a brief moment his body tensed before relaxing against her. He thought it might have been awkward to embrace like this again, but it was comfortable to have her this close. She was still his little Lavi, no matter her size. Resting his chin on top of her head for a brief second, careful of her horns, he embraced her. She seemed absolutely content like this, and he had to agree. When she gave her consent Boris pulled away from her slightly to examine an ear.*
Well, show me where exactly first. Then it might help if you lay down, would make it easier on me.
*From a pocket he procured a small tin box that held a few things, but the most relevant being a clean piercing needle. He felt a little nervous at this, the twitch of his tail a sure sign of his sentiment.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Enjoying their closeness, the vines on her paw gave the light pink colour to the leaves once again. His usual scent was comforting and all so natural. She gave a small nuzzle under his chin as well, a smile curving on her delicate features. But she quickly realized what she'd been doing, sending a fierce blush across her bridge. It wasn't lady-like at all. Nervously, she pulled away from him, taking her space again, and turned her face away in an effort to hide the flush again.* I apologize, Mr. Boris... *she murmured ever so softly. *wavering her ear, she pondered an resonable area for the trinket to be placed.* Perhaps.. towards the end? *her eyes kept to the ground, watching the butterflies crowd closer to her as she had taken back her space, a few venturing atop the boa around her. She couldn't help but nuzzle against it, his scent very apparent on it. Peeking back to him, a curious look took over her features as the box was reveiled. Modern items were always so strange... But she said nothing of it. Very carefully, she shifted to lie on her stomach, paws crossing elegantly. The butterflies scurried to fit along her new figure, her tail wrapping around one side.*

Roserain
Boris: *His ears flicked back for a moment when he recognized her embarrassment at the contact. When she apologized the comfort he'd felt earlier evaporated, this wasn't how he wanted things to be between them. Gripping the box he pondered for a moment as she repositioned herself. This... awkwardness, or whatever it was had to stop. He turned to sit right in front of her, putting his box on the ground and raising a paw to lift her chin so that she was looking up at him.*
Lavi, look. You don't have to apologize. I don't want you to be afraid to hug me, or treat me like you did when you were younger. I don't... I mean, I know you're growing up but...
*Suddenly this didn't seem like such a good idea, he couldn't seem to find the right words, and he looked away from her for a moment to collect his thoughts. His tail flicked idly while he mulled over what to say, facing her again when he was pretty sure he had it planned out.*
Just because you're older now doesn't mean you're not lil' miss Lavi anymore. Just because you can take care of yourself doesn't mean I won't look out for you. You're still my Lavi, ok?
*His gaze was intent on her, hoping that this was the right way to go about it.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *her ears pricked at his touch, a warmth of her blush waving over again. Gazing up to his eyes, her own shimmering slightly at the suprise, she could hear her heart beat in her ears. A sudden nibble of warmth nipped at the tips of her ears, the colour of her vines fully turning pink and a light hue of red.* Mister.. Boris... *the butterflies made to giving the feline room, forming a little around him as well. She wasn't quite sure how to react to such things. He was neither family, nor anything intimate... yet he was allowing her the option to approach him as such? Softly, and against her own will, she nuzzled against his paw, her eyes clamping closed in an attempt to quell the heat on her cheeks.* b-but.... it is unlady-like, Mr.Boris.. and.. I would not want to overstep my boundries.. or cause unease to you..*She mostly feared for if her father were to see how she acted around Boris. Her comfort around this male would prove to agitate the demon, and perhaps even excell to something worse. The light hold of his paw fit nicely against her jaw, her eyes slowly peeking back open. His Lavi? All of this.. was so new.. and unknown. The little insects seemed to pick up on it as well, and tugged at her fur gently in an attempt to pull her closer to him. This in turn made her flush exceed it's capacity. Smoothing her cheek against his paw again, she tried to slow her pittering heart. Peeking up to him, she murmured softly, with pure innocence.* I am.. yours..?

Roserain
Boris: *He paid little attention to the butterflies or her seemingly magic vines, though they did add a sense of mystic beauty to the moment despite his nervousness. A tingling shock went through his body as she pressed into his paw, her cheeks highlighted with a soft blush while her eyes closed. The sensation caused his tail to puff slightly and he nearly pulled his paw away as a reaction. This was not what he'd been expecting, and his chains rattled softly as he shifted, trying to ease his discomfort. He wouldn't have felt awkward at the gesture when she was younger, so why now? He sighed inwardly, trying to puzzle out exactly where they stood. She spoke softly and he watched her curiously, trying to understand better. It was almost like she could hear his thoughts, and yet that's now how he wanted their relationship to be.*
It's not like that Lavi, there shouldn't be boundaries between us. Not like that. I don't want you to feel like you have to be a lady around me. Or that you can't hug me when you want to. I want you to be comfortable just being you, understand?
*He drew a bit closer to her, reaffirming the light touch of his paw against her jawline. Continuing to try and explain, it wasn't until she opened her eyes to give him a demure look that he understood exactly what he said. There was a flutter of movement and for a brief moment Boris wondered if he could pick out Kite in the butterfly crowd. He felt her shift against his paw as his words had an unforeseen affect on her. His mouth clicked as he tried to make it work, unable to answer her simple question. Well, in truth it was a lot more complex than it sounded. Of course she was his, but not in the way her body language was gently suggesting. His ears pressed back as he stammered, trying to think his way through this one.*
I... er... Lavi.
*He let out a breath and patted her cheek, knowing it was never easy to draw a line. Especially one he wasn't sure about setting up.*
Yes. Mine. Like the way Kite is yours. You are mine to protect and keep happy, and to help grow. You are like my little sister; you're family to me.
*Boris watched her face for the reaction, unsure if this would be a welcome explanation or not. He wasn't so young as to mistake how she was acting, even if in her youth she didn't understand herself quite yet. Lavi really was a beauty to behold, and he was lucky to have her as friend in the first place, but this wasn't the path he wanted for them. Alice was the only one he could imagine being with, despite her debates with him. He could only hope that Lavi understood.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *listening intently to him, she found herself battling within. It would be against her morals to act as such with one who was not affirmativly apart of the Fin family. What would her mother think? Showing her affections to an aquaintance. It was not appropriate in the least, and seeing as she was brought up to be lady-like, that is what she went by. Eyes looking to the butterflies in the corner of her eye, they served as a comfort of sorts in this confusing episode. But how she acted around him was her... wasn't it? The common curtisies, and mannerisms were what she was used to.
Very lightly she pulled her head from his paws grip, letting it settle on it's own. A soft smile on her face, she looked straight at him. A rather gleeful look lit in her eyes.*
I feel honored, Mr. Boris, that you should consider me kin.. *he had always seemed like a mentor, or a counsler to her; one she could rely on for information or confirmation. The idea of anything more couldn't even seem to form in her mind, yet her heart could easily concoct otherwise. Yet, it was left to it's own, as her mind and heart didn't seem to connect in this situation, leaving her pain free. But she soon thought of comparing him to her brother Trentil who also demonstrated the same protective acts that the feline did.*
Then I shall do my best duty to serve as such, Mr. Boris. *she gave a light bow to him, the butterflies suddenly retreating to the feline to assemble around the vixen again; many lining along her body in a sort of embrace.*
I thank you for your leinence, sir. *Her eyes closed once again, her wings flaring out softly to complete the cursie; as it was ingrained into her natural habits.*

Roserain
Boris: *A heavy weight fell upon his shoulders when she pulled away, and although her face showed no sorrow that small action made him feel as if he'd hurt her. Her words seemed a bit more stiff and her demure a touch colder, though perhaps she was just distracted by her thoughts. In any case, he felt that he'd done her a disservice and didn't know how to mend this. Instead all he could offer was a light nod at her words, not sure how else to express himself. She bowed and he lowered his head in kind, respecting her choice to be a bit more formal.*
And I'll do my best as well, lil' Lavi.
*he offered a small smile, in hopes of making peace with her. He watched absentmindedly as the butterflies moved about, wondering not for the first time why they stayed with her and what they were thinking; if they thought much at all.
Once again with the formalities, she curtsied and he chose to stick with his more laid back approach. Sighing quietly, he patted her head gently, paying mind to not wrap his chains around her horns by mistake.*
Well, you know how I feel Lav, and I think we've put this ritual, as you called it, off long enough.
*Gently running a paw along the ear she'd indicated earlier, he mentally marked where the needle would pierce.*
Are you ready?
*His voice was tinged with concern, but still he made motion for her to hand the gold leaf back to him. The quicker he could fasten it after the piercing the less swelling he'd have to contest with and the less discomfort she'd feel.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Perhaps her heart had taken a bit of a touch to her demenour, but she wouldn't notice as such. Giving a silent gesture to the butterflies with a simple glance, they reassembled once again to give space to her, and take to the skies. They hovered in a tunnel like tornado above her, watching over the two mammals in curiousity. Smiling lightly to the male, she gave a small nod.* I am as ready as I shall ever be.
*The pat gave her the feeling of being a small child, but she dared not say such a thing to her friend; as not to call him out. And so she kept a small little smile. Glancing down at the trinket cuddled in her paws, she held it out to him, and laxed her ears for easier handle. The pain would barely take any effect on her, as was the way of her father's kind. Though she was curious as to how this sort of ritual was carried out. Were several insicious necessary or a simple n**. Either way, her mother's teachings prepared her for any scenerio, she thought.
Olive green eyes slowly closed, preparing for his action soon to be. The sudden thought of what her mother would think flashed in her mind, causing her eyes to barely peek open, but it was quickly pushed away. It was made from the materials of Mother Nature, so it was deemed appropriate in her eyes. Mother would understand... right?*

Roserain
Boris: *As if they knew, her winged friends took off to flutter above. He pondered them for a moment before nodding back at Lavi, gingerly taking the trinket and laying it on the boa where it would be in quick and easy reach. He looked the placement she had indicated again, checking her ear for a moment before sliding open the tin box and pulling a metal needle from it. His ear flicked idly, the hoops clinking together softly, a tribute of sorts to Lavi's soon-to-be piercing. Quick, that was the goal. A steady breath in, and then he aligned the tool before threading it with a steady hand. The jab was over swiftly as he thrust it through the thin membrane and pulled it all the way through. Without pausing, he reached for the leaf and pressed the sharp fastener through the previously made puncture; snapping the gold loop closed definitively. Only when the deed was done did he let go of the breath he had held, leaning back to examine his work. It suited her, bringing out the mark of a tree on her face.*
Not too bad, right?
*His attention shifted away from her ear, worried.*

musicaloner7
Lavius: *Not flinching at all from the penetration, she gives only a small blink. After only a few seconds she could start to feel the light and barely noticeable throb to where the earring was placed. Not only that, but the slight weight that was added. Carefully wavering it, she smiled to him cheerfully.* That was quite painless, Mr. Boris. *she had thought at least a little pain might be present, and yet she felt none. Turning her head a little, she tried to look at the end of her ear to see how it looked; but the proved to be difficult.* What do you think? *she asked happily, wondering as to how he felt about the addition on her.*

Roserain
Boris: *What started as a smirk as she tested the weight of her new adornment quickly became a wide grin as she beamed at him, setting his worry to rest. She seemed chipper and rather happy about the whole ordeal. Chuckling as she tilted about, trying to view her new accessory, he nodded to assure her it looked good.*
It's perfect, if I do say so myself. You look quite lovely with jewelry, Lav~
*He shifted his weight to get a different angle, checking the piercing. It really did suit her, he was glad that it had turned out so well. He could've purred in his contentment, but thought better of it. Still, he couldn't help his grin and the wiggle of his tail as he nodded to her yet again.*
Cheshire approved! I wish there was a way to show you. Hm. There is the lake. Not the best option, but...

musicaloner7

Feeling the slight bow of the weight on her ear as she turned, a little sway of the tip of her tail couldn't help but show with the excitement of this new attatchment. It made her feel much like her brother Trentil who held a little settlement of mushrooms on her back. She couldn't wait to show him, and Isolde! But... perhaps not Father. Nothing but happiness was on her face at his approval until his compliment slipped in. Giving a twirk to her ears, she quickly looked away, ears pressing back, and that all to common blush returning. But she had to take this in a lady-like fashion. Faultering only for that moment, she swallowed lightly, and redirected the conversation, "Yes.. a lake would prove to be most helpful in this situation. And there is one nearby, luckly." forcing a polite smile, she carefully rose to her paws, the butterfly's taking to the sky's once again. Yet Kite remained on her tucked wings, easily reading her unease; though he remained still. Taking a graceful step, she perked her ears and turned to glance at the feline, "I believe.. fish are there as well.. you do enjoy injesting those, do you not?" she could clearly recall the day he ate one that had been cooked, bringing that pungent smell back to her nostrils. "Large one's are rare to come by, but I have heard that the small Blue Gill are a nice snack." a feathery smile on her face, she took to stepping slowly towards it's direction further out amongst the plain land.

Roserain

Boris: *He stepped back to give her room to move, quickly packing away his tin. There was that stiffness again. Had he said something wrong? Though, she still seemed happy. An ear rotated as he thought on it, deciding that maybe Gig would know something. Besides, he owed her a visit. Deciding not to bring it up with Lavi anymore and ignore it, he couldn't help but feel curious. Maybe it was a girl thing. Girl things were often complicated.

He retrieved his boa as she stood, preparing for the trip to the lake. When she brought up the fish he realized it had been quite some time since he'd eaten. The thought of a nice, fat fish...
His eyes closed for a moment at the blissful thought, but alas, he knew how much she hated the smell. With a gentle sigh he let the happy thought go before shaking his head.*
"Nahhh, not in a fish mood today."
*He fell into step next to her, as he pondered on things.*
"Still, to the lake!"
*Giving her what he hoped was a reassuring grin, he bopped his head in the direction of the water, indicating she should lead on.*

musicaloner7
The butterflies kept in a cloud formation above the vixen, their silent wings flapping to keep up with her lax pace. Glancing up at them once, she tried to give them a little shush so they would quiet their whispers. This in turn made them fly a little lower to form a sort of shell around her; almost seperating her from Boris. Giving a light sway of her tail, she tried to usher them to take back to the skies, lightly, but they simply returned to the barricade.
Realizing it was a losing battle, she settled to giving her light smile, and continue on their way to the lake.
At his denial of the fish delicacy, she gave a small blink, but chose not to push it. Perhaps his mind would change on the way. Padding along gracefully to the lake that rested along the inner lining of the forest, she managed to pick up a few more butterfly friends who joined the flock. These were a more pastel colour, and blended more with her fur tone's. Once she came closer to the lake, a few dragonfly's zipped around the mass of winged petals, hovered around the vixen a moment, and dashed off to the water hole.
Stepping up to the lip of the oasis, she carefully leaned her head over to peek in. Immedeatly, the little twinkle of the trinket caught her eye, making that smile return on her face. "How miraculous.." she murmured, turning her head a few times to see the different angles. The butterflies mimicked her movements, by hovering around her head to take a look as well, and move as she did.

Roserain
Boris: *Eyes watching with a predator's mind, he couldn't help following the butterflies in their movement; though he resisted the urge to try catching them. As it was they seemed agitated, swirling in a myrid of colors and wings to create a living shield around the forest vixen. For not the first time he wondered how Lavi understood them, or visa versa. Though it wasn't really all that shocking, some just had gifts while others were more mundane. It certainly added to her mystique and perhaps they'd help keep her safe in some way.
It never crossed his mind that the insects might be guarding her from himself. Instead he simply followed, chains rattling softly and his tail swaying while he mulled over the conversation that had transpired. The silence was a bit uncomfortable, and in truth he was saddened by it. The innocence of youth was fading from her, replaced by harsh awareness in some cases. At least, that's how it appeared to him. Maybe she was troubled by something external? It would explain-

She was talking. His ears perked up and her movement drew his eyes to notice they were already at the water's edge. Lavi seemed to be speaking to herself though, admiring the adornment. Even the butterflies appeared to be curious to her actions. He watched them again, fascinated. It truly was a wondrous image; Lavi by the water with the butterflies dancing all around her. Her smile really made it a beautiful thing to behold, and he found himself relaxing. At least she seemed happy, and they would figure things out. His worry slipped away as he just enjoyed this moment. Purring, his tail came to wrap around him as he sat.*
"Does this mean you like it?"

musicaloner7
Lightly dipping her head to the water, she takes a closer look at the gold. Even the fish below the surface peeked up to take a gander. It was so mezmorizing. The way the light flickered off of it and danced along the opposite direction to peel across the calm lake. Letting her head raise, she turned it ever so slightly to smile gently at the feline,
"Of course, Mr. Boris. It is the most wonderful thing I have ever recieved from someone... "
The butterflies once again crowded around her, creating a buffer of sorts.
Looking back to the lake, she fawned further at the gift, "I must admit.. I am rather envious of your skill, Mr. Boris.. with such a trade at your disposal, there must be an endless amount of beautiful designs. Sure to draw in many admirer's such as myself." in the manner of admiration she had for him was in the state of complete awe, as she herself did not possess any ability such as this. Smiling down at the aquatic life below, she placed her delicate vine draped paw into the water to stroke along the smooth scales of the curious fish. As most would dash away at such an action, these accepted her advance calmly, almost in a welcome. The lips of the fish peeked above the surface, placing little kisses on her pristine pale arm. Eyes softening, the little fox gave one last caress to the vunerable water-dwellers before becoming distracted by gossemer shimmer of clear wings dancing around her. Pulling back a little, she saw different sizes and colours of dragonfly's twirling about, making her eyes light up with a childs looking upon a balloon. Head turning to follow the paths of the flying twigs, the butterflies that loomed over her followed into the same sway of her body. The new found jewlery on her ear shimmered and jingled meakly with each movement from the femme.
"Look, Mr. Boris! Arn't they fantastic?" she gleefully sung out to him in her soft voice, eyes gazing at him brimming with joy and excitement.

Roserain
Boris:
Admittedly he had never looked at his metalwork or tinkering tendencies as anything special. Just hobbies. It had never dawned on him they could bring joy to others rather than just himself. Though... he doubted all of his talents would have praises sung about. Though this definitely gave him the idea to try and show Alice the go kart he modded. Perhaps she'd get a kick out of too. His tail curled in pleasure at the thought of her clinging to his shoulders during a high speed drive through the amusement park.
Was... was Lavi petting fish? His purring puttered out as he mentally smacked his forehead. Ugh, great, he was eating her friends. No wonder she didn't like the smell of his dinner. Would they have been friends if they'd met as adults? That question didn't settle well, and he shifted about in hopes that he'd somehow find a physical position to alleviate the emotional unease.
Still, even that couldn't detract from the beauty of the wilderness coming alive for Lavi. Ruffling his boa as he laid down in the grass, stretching out his body happily, Boris looked up at the female to see her practically glowing as she marveled at her winged buddies over the water.

"You know, lil' Lavi, what you do with them is as much as a gift as my skill with metal."

Wriggling in the grass, he eyed the flying creatures. Had he come to the lake alone, he might've seen one or two in passing, though they'd quickly dart away. Shame too, if he could attract the fish the way Lavi could, every day would be a feast. Though... he would probably have to pick a new fishing hole if she was attached to the swimming meals here.

musicaloner7

The sudden thought came to her, making her posture faulter somewhat. He'd given her this precious gift yet... she had nothing to give him. Nothing of the same caliber, at least.
Attention drawing away from the dragonfly's, she looked down at the soft grass before her, while her tail laced around her paws. There had to be something.. flowers? No.. they wouldn't last more than a few day's out of the soil... he probably wouldn't give much care to a fresh fruit.. as that was something easy to aquire.. Usually smooth features wrinkled as her brows knit together. The butterflies indeed picked up on it, and swarmed around her to create a shell; keeping at a easy pace of flittering around her. The gold leaves on her paw became a darker shade, ears lowering slowly. She raked her mind for what could be just as equal to what he'd given her... but she came up short in every turn.. This eventually led her to lifting her head to scan her surroundings, hoping to jump start her memory or bring to light an idea.
At Boris` comment, she couldn't help but glance at him and blink curiously; clearly not seeing it as such. Looking off again, her ears twirked once in awhile at the soft whispers from the butterflies, dragonfly's and the bubbles of the fish. All offering suggestions, but none of them sounding appropriate for a feline. A gentle sigh of disappointment escaped her, making the cocoon of butterflies tighten along her frame.

Roserain

Boris:
In typical cat fashion, his mind was already wandering off, becoming distracted with other things. Though he still cared deeply about Lavi and the problems at hand, he was ready for a change of some sort. Maybe he'd go back to the amusement park for a bit, or go play with the Twins and see if he could beat them at throwing knives again. Though... Lavi probably wouldn't enjoy any of that. Hm. Dilemma.
In fact, she was looking rather distraught at the moment. Her buggy buddies also seemed to be sensing her agitation and were moving oddly. Her eyes were darting about before becoming downcast. Curious, his body held still in the grass as he watched her.

"Lavi? What's wrong?"

musicaloner7
Frowning more, she stood up, "I.... have nothing to give to you.. Mr. Boris..nothing that shall hold as much signifigance or endurance, such as this..." her ear idly flicked to signify the earring. Staring at the lake, a small idea began to surface in her mind. And just like that, her body snapped to attention. Glancing to him, she gave a low bow, "Excuse me, sir.." she muttered politely to excuse herself, before trotting along the lake's edge. Of course it wouldn't hold as much difficulty to obtain or effort as he had demonstrated with her jewelry, it was still something along the same lines. Padding deeper into the forest, she kept her eyes straight forward and locked on her destination ahead. Passing by many forest life, they would flock to her. The cloud of butterflies stayed close around her, refusing to leave her side. But she did not slow at her pace, nor give much of an acknowledgement to them. She was determined to obtain the perfect gift for him.

Roserain
Boris:
"I... wait, what?"

Her admission came as a total surprise to him, not expecting anything in exchange. He sat up as she sprinted off, apologizing all too politely. Confused, he called after her, worried.

"Lavi! Hey, Lavi! Lav, what the hell are you up to?"

Instantly he berated himself for swearing, knowing she would highly disapprove of his foul mouth. But despite her full grown stature, she was still just a young kid in his mind, someone to protect and look after. Sure, she probably walked off into the forest all the time by herself, but that wasn't the point. She wasn't supposed to walk off into the forest by herself with him. She could get lost. Or hurt. Or run into Stylo.

He sprang up and trotted after her, intent on catching up and not letting her out of his sight.

musicaloner7

Keeping at her pace, she seemed to enwraped at her task to even notice the calls or the jingling of the approaching feline. Leaping over fallen logs, and jutting shrubs with ease and grace, she didn't once budge from the set coarse. How could she have been so selfish? So impolite as to neglect to obtain a gift in exchange? Chastising herself internally, she flattened back her ears and shook her head in shame. Mother would not be proud of such an act.
Due to the extended venture into the forest, the ground became darker, and more difficult to see. But it didn't seem to bother her; for she was adorned with the gifts of the demon, and was well adapted to the territory. Though the butterflies did not feel the same. The once faithful platoon soon scattered to hide in the vegetation for safety; their instincts naturally taking effect. But still, that did not hinder the vixen's determination. Her bright white pelt like moonlight remained clear and visible as she stepped lightly along the ground, barely disterbing a sound.
Lost in her own thoughts, she didn't even watch where she was going, more so looking in a dazed expression; trying to piece together the value of what she had in store for him. He had spoken of the jewlery to be of something from a precious material... of course.. the only things precious she could think of would be the beautiful silk that the silkworms spun, or the dainty wings of insects... but neither of those sounded appropriate.. nothing he would truly care for, nor need. "How foolish of me.." she muttered to herself, quite plagued by this realization. This was not how a lady should act at all.. expecially accepting gifts from those who are not, again, of family ranking. Perhaps she'd been too sophmoric in his presence, a bit too... cozy. The soft warmth of a blush tickled at her nose, making her scrunch it in a bit of irritance; a feeling quite rare for her.
Pushing through a large bush, she dissappeared behind it swiftly... yet... to her dismay, her vines became entangled in the process. Just as she was about to take another step, she was yanked back, and plopped right back on the ground. Squeaking lightly, she clamped her eyes closed, only soon after to blink them open frantically, turning to see what was the cause of her stop. And of course, it was the usual culprit. Sighing softly, she tried to flutter her wings and gain freedom, yet that only managed for them to snar further, making her lose mobility of the delicate feathered limbs. "Oh dear..."

Roserain
Boris:
She gave him no notice whatsoever as she pressed on, even her fluttering friends ditching in her effort. The ominousness dark heightened his desire to get her attention and hopefully turn her around. Was she ignoring him? It sure seemed that way as she dodged hurdles and seemingly purposefully made the path hard for him to follow. Luckily her fur stuck out sorely in this place; making her a rather easy target. His anger and frustration started to rise as he had to maneuver yet another fallen tree, he cursed as she disappeared into thick foliage and scrambled to keep up. Though the moment he approached she was neatly flung from the cover, ensnared by her own clinging vines. She struggled in futile waves of her wings until they truly became entrapped.

"'Oh dear' is right! What the hell were you doing running off like that?"

He couldn't keep the sharp notes out of his voice, worry having turned him to vexation. He pulled at the branches, slowly working her free as he continued his rant.

"What if I wasn't following you? Lav, you could've been stuck like this for who knows how long. With whatever is out there. I don't care if you are all grown up, you've gotta... gotta..."

His rage had pittered out as her wings came free, feeling ashamed at his explosion of anger. He sighed and rotated his ears forward again, not even realizing they'd been pressed back.

"Lavi, I don't need you to give me something. I don't want to take anything from you. Just, keep safe, ok? You being happy is more than enough for me. You and your buggy buddies doing the cha cha by the waterside is just as awesome as anything I can hold. So just... say thank you for the earring, and smile, and promise me you won't get hurt, and everything will be good."

musicaloner7
As she was being relieved from the entanglement, she kept her head bowed shamefully, and eyes closed. Wings lying limp as they were free'd, she curled her tail around her tightly.
"I...I'm sorry, Mr. Boris.. I did not know you would follow me.." Letting her own ears press against her skull, she turned her head from him, feeling the effects of embarressment taking their toll. Some lady she was... her posture was completly out the window, her figure hunched and scrunched up. What a horrible example she was setting for her family and her own image. Her paws clentched at the ground, feeling the pulse of the forest around them, a sense of comfort in this tense moment.
"I just wanted to give you something... that levers out equally... it would not be proper if I did not.." she murmured ever so quietly; as if a nest of baby birds were near.
Pausing, she gave thought to his words, "If I were alone, I would have disposed of the vines. Thus letting me free... and if one were to approach me with ill reason, I would allow nature to decide it's fate for me. For she shall protect me for how ever long I am to be, and I shall accept what ever day she so chooses for me to find conflict..or more. " olive eyes barely peeked open, looking at her pale paw against the dark earth. Had she not caused enough contreversy for one day? It didn't seem like it...
A little pout even managed to pucker on her lips, as she tried to sort through her thoughts, "I want... I want to, give you something.. that I am able to produce.. though not conceived by me, it may hold the signifigance of my gesture... and perhaps give a balance to our exchange.." glances to him, frowning just a little, "Besides.. you may see me happ and the butterflies dance around me when ever you please.. it is nothing more than a simple visit for such a sight.." finding it difficult to express herself through words, she looked away again, pressing her lips together in thought. Quite the predicament it was. She'd never found herself in this sort of situation.

Roserain
Boris:
Her downcast reaction made him feel horrible, like he just kicked a kitten or something. What was he supposed to do? How did he fix this? She was obviously hurt and... Damn why did this have to be so complicated? Every time he tried to just lay everything flat it got all messy again; like a bad fur day.

"Lav.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap."

Apologies didn't come naturally to him, and he shuffled about uncomfortably, the words coming out in a mutter. This was such a mess. He sat in the dirt, shaking his head at the folly. What would set this right? Trying to explain wasn't working, and stopping her obviously had no effect.

"Maybe... teach me something?"

Oh he could just picture it now, how to be polite, or how to sing to butterflies, or... hm. Now he felt guilty that he didn't know all that much more about her. During their time together they kind of just talked, not really touching on anything deep normally.

Continued: A Promise Kept

musicaloner7
Glancing to him, she perked her ears. Blinking, somewhat confused, she shook her head lightly, "There is nothing to apologize for, Mr. Boris. For you have caused no harm or mistreating of any sort. I am the one who must apologize, for my lack of realization, and being out of line." Giving a small bow to him, she flared out her wings carefully. Slowly raising her head again, she looked to the dusty gray feathers, "And thanking you.. for all that you do for me. Your company is most comforting to have, as well as the many ways you.. "spoil me", to say in simpler words." smiling at that, she placed a paw to her mouth to with hold a giggle. Though as she looked at him, she could see his discomfort. Looking off a moment, she flattened her ears again, and pressed her lips. Her instincts couldn't help but want to tend to him, like a withered plant, or a battered bird. Thus making her, against her mannerisms, lean her head towards him to gently touch his cheek with her nose; as she did to anything that was injured or askew. It wasn't too forward or out of line, hopefully. But she couldn't let him seem so distraught and deflated. Expecially on her account. "I shall be sure to not get caught in my thoughts so much, when around you. As that seems to be quite the common occurance." she spoke in a soft tone, giving a small nuzzle before allowing herself to retreat back to her space.
Teach him something...? Twirking an ear, she gave a tilt to her head as she pondered the matter. Perhaps how to read the wind? Or the weather? ...she very well couldn't teach him how to fly, though he had his own way, as she recalled, smiling at the thought. But.. those were all probably useless techniques for him. Though... her ears twirked as she looked upon him, spotting the ornament on his ear. Fish... Eyes lighting up again, she perked up in a jolt of excitement. "What if I were to teach you how to fish? Would that be helpful, Mr. Boris?" but as soon as the words left her mouth, she realized how foolish that sounded, and she gasped, covering her mouth. Of course he could fish.... Looking off, she flattened back her ears, "I-I mean... give you... another option of how to...?"

Roserain
Boris:
She was being wordy again, it seemed she only had two modes; talkative, and very quiet. He didn't mind, it was better than her being unresponsive, it was just hard to follow sometimes with the mannerisms. How was he supposed to respond? Say thank you? Apologize again? He opted to not use words and simply nod with a slight smile, trying to ease the tension. She had giggled though, which was a good sign. He relaxed a little, hoping this meant the worst was over. It was still a surprise when she leaned in and gave him a kiss of sorts; he felt his tail puff at the sudden shock. Warmth spread in his cheeks and he looked down for a moment, composing himself. It was becoming more and more obvious that he and Lavi had very different ways of communicating. It was part of what made her so fascinating though, and in time his gaze rose to meet hers, smiling again.
It seemed she was mulling over something when suddenly inspiration seemingly struck and she blurted out about teaching him how to fish before correcting herself. Surprised yet again, his eyebrows perked as he watched her.

"Oh? Aren't they... I don't know... like the butterflies? Are you sure you're ok with me..."

killing them?
It sounded too harsh to say, so he refrained, instead waiting for clarification. Thinking back on her petting the fish from the lake, he couldn't deny she certainly had a way of luring them close... Though if it was something that would upset her, that would just make things worse between them. But she wouldn't have suggested it if she were against it, right?
Suddenly he realized that it was maybe as simple as seeing Lavi as nature itself. Hunting was natural, a cat's gotta eat. Doesn't mean she couldn't rejoice in the fish that were alive now.

musicaloner7
Her whole body seemed to brighten again, the tip of her tail even flicking in a bit of pent up anxiety. A cheery smile on her face once again, she stood to her paws, and glanced around to pinpoint exactly where they were so as to return back to the lake. Ears swiveling about, she heard a few whispers of the forest folk, warning her and questioning her sanity, but she waved them off with a flick of her tail. "All things must come to their end, Mr. Boris. It is no different than giving life as it is for it to leave. As we all recycle back into the never ending production of nourishment; giving as much as we take." moving around the bush that had snatched her wings from before, she looked back to her, a glint of a play shimmering along her eyes. It had been awhile since she had the intent of catching a fish. Not since the time she had went fishing with her brother, only to find that he was a far better fisherman than her. Tail flickering, her body seemed to glower with energy, "I want to take care of you, as you take care of me, Mr. Boris. So I shall show you an effective way to nourish yourself. As they seem to make you quite gay, am I correct?", her mind had recalled when he feated upon some sort of smoked fish, which was rather pungent and distasteful to her senses, but she had learned to become tollerant of such things. And he seemed rather pleased with such a delicacy. Trotting back to him, she gave a little touch again, before bounding back to the side of the bush, waiting for him to start up.

Roserain
Boris:
He blinked for a moment, unsure how to respond. The last time someone called him gay he shot them in the leg. Somehow, he didn't think she meant it that way. Besides, who would go gay for fish? He decided she meant the literal meaning and nodded his head, glad no one else was around to see him admit to being gay about anything. It seemed to make her happy though, as she pressed her nose to him once more before springing away.
He got to his feet, nodding for her to lead on, giving her a smile in turn. It was good to see her excited again. He must admit to being rather curious though.

"So, you fish then? What's this 'super secret Lavi trick'?"

He grinned and flicked his tail, falling into step at her side.

"And... I know life comes and goes, but I don't want to make you uncomfortable. So if it bugs you, let me know, ok?"

He gave her a more serious look for a moment, wanting her to understand he meant it. The last thing he needed was her getting all fake on him. Though, Lav had seemed rather ecstatic at the idea of 'taking care' of him. The idea didn't really effect him one way or the other. Perhaps if he thought on it harder, but at the moment he was mulling over her words about the flow of life.
Lavi was very... ritualistic. The morals, the manners, everything had a rhythm and a place to it. No wonder she wasn't comfortable around him, he was going against her grain. Maybe if he tried to do the dance a bit better? Crap, this was going to be hard.

Stepping with the same grace an elegance she usually did, there was abit of spirit in each placed paw now; her excitement seeming to glow and channel into her posture. She'd finally have something of worth to give. For the first time, in fact. For she did not possess the abilities her full demon brother held, which made her feel, well, rather useless in the duty of caring for the land. All she was able to do was help him transport sproutings, or worms, or nutrients, but unable to provide them from her very being. Deciding not to further think on the issue, she smiled to him, her tail swaying lightly as she lept effortlessly over a decaying trunk.
At his question, her ears perked, along with the quirk of a smile at her lips, "The trick is patience, self-control, and understading, so I believe, at least.." Blinking, she delved a little more the subject, "Perhaps with a bit of seduction, as well." she nodded, going through her process in her mind. This would be a bit of a reteaching for herself, infact, as she would probably be a little rusty... fluttering her wings carelessly, she lept again over a prickly shrub, the loose fur aling her elbows barely grazing the top. Trying her best to keep at a leisurely pace for him, she would pause every once in awhile to make sure that he made it successfully over the hurdles. Tilting her head, she absorbed his words again, and constructed a response, "I do not see why something should cause me discomfort, Mr. Boris. If it is one's decision to do as such, than I should hold respect to their choices." Giggling lightly, but quickly silencing it with a paw, she quoted, " 'To each his own', yes?"

Roserain
Boris:
He followed along easily, his feline litheness making it effortless... now that he wasn't blinded by panic and trying to stumble after her while she was running away. Still, jumping over stuff wasn't really his thing. Jumping onto things, sure. He skirted around the prickly bush before responding to her.

"Seduction? Here fishy fishy I just wanna kissy?"

The thought made him snort with laughter, unable to wave off the idea of a horrified fish pressed against his lips. This was sounding more and more bizarre, yet interesting. Admittedly he was rather curious as to what she had in mind. There was warmth between them again, comforting and steady; familiar. He bounded about, happily, noting when the forest became a little less dark as they moved from the deeper and denser trees.
She giggled, however short lived, and he gave her a wide cheshire grin in return, liking the sound.

"Yep, to each their own. Fishes with kisses for me and... hey Lavi, what on earth do you eat?"

He paused to think on it, wondering aloud.

"Fruit? Berries? Drops of dew gathered on the leaves in the morning?"

There was obvious humor in his voice, though he truly was curious now that the topic had come up.

At his playful banter, adding the touch of creative images, she stopped, and actually... laughed. It was just as dainty and soft as all of her other features. Much like the soft sigh of grasses bowing in the wind, or leaves being ruffled gently. But once she realized it, she blushed brightly, and covered her mouth to stiffle its sound. Clamping her eyes closed, she took a deep breath to settle herself. Relaxing, she slowly opened her eyes, and removed her paw, smiling lightly. Giving a rather apologetic nod, she started back down the path of the lighting forest. At his question, her ears swiveled forward. "Yes. Berries and fruits are quite delicious..." she paused a moment, her ears laxing back, "But.. I do enjoy a nice thick...juicy.. piece of meat... " her eyes became slits, and her mouth turned to a grin; the rare bit of her demon side showing. If she were to open her mouth again, a bit of saliva would surely show the salivation starting to form. The tasty boars or deer her father would bring had thick hides that she loved to sink her teeth into. She wasn't much for lean and soft meat, she could get the feel from fruit easily. Within a few moments, she, again, realized her composure had lost, and flipped up her ears, along with her eyes, the blush returning again.
"Tree roots are delicious, as well.. honey suckle." she smiles, "And yes, dew drops."
This brought upon a curiousity of her own. If he enjoyed eating fish... did that mean he lived within the forests as well. Blinking, she glanced to him, "Mr. Boris... where do you live, exactly? Near a lake, perhaps, full of many fish?" That would make sense.

Roserain
Boris:
When she paused, he halted and came around to face her, curious. Was she laughing? Really? It fitted her perfectly, somehow. He chuckled at first, which grew into a solid laugh, encouraging her own. But of course she stopped herself for the sake of image, and his first reaction was to correct her. An ear flicked as he reminded himself he needed to realize there was the dance, the ritual of Lavi. She would become more comfortable in her own time, but for now it was reason enough to celebrate that she'd laughed in the first place.
He moved out of her way when she had regained herself, allowing her to continue towards the lake. Once more he walked alongside her, learning to understand.
She started to answer his question, confirming the healthier fare he assumed she'd eat. He was a little surprised when she admitted her taste for meat, and his ears perked as he recognized the undertones in her voice. So, little dainty tree-hugger had a predator lurking in her, huh? Oddly enough, it put him at ease and made him feel more akin to her. Once again she put a mask over her true self, and he didn't even flinch this time. She seemed ashamed though, but he restrained from comforting her. Drawing attention to it hadn't worked the first time, why now? Besides, so far the new approach of just letting it be seemed to be working better.

"Dew drops, seriously?"

How many drops would it take to satisfy a hunger? Er, thirst? He couldn't even imagine. Nor did he think he had the patience to lick that many leaves. ... Well maybe if it was catnip leaves. His ears perked as it was her term to ask a more personal question, and he shook his head.

"Nah, though I do hang out by them a lot, I suppose. I don't really... live anywhere. I guess. I'm a cat after all. I just kind of come and go. I do have my own room though. At the amusement park, the old man let me keep one of the rooms normally rented out. I'm not there a whole lot though. I kinda prefer the trees."

musicaloner7
Of course she couldn't deny the hunger for meat she had, as she was part demon after all. It was just a natural part of that side of her. Though she did feel bad eating meat around her angelic mother, who detested the taste and quite possibly the scent. Thus she kept to fruits and berries that were pleasing to her mother. Which she didn't mind in the least.
Growing closer to the lake, she could just see it's sparkling waves winking playfully at her, making a soft smile reside on her face. The water always seemed to calm her, and make her seem... free, and unbound by the need to upkeep her formalities. Perhaps that is why she felt so comfortable around him then. More alight. Filing that thought away, as she had to make sure not to delve too deep into her thoughts while around the feline, she gave a small nod, "It tastes so sweet and gives the senses a relieving feel. Though you must take care not to damage the leaves or petals on which they rest." looking to him as he explained his lifestyle of living, she blinked curiously, finding that quite similar to her family's very own way's of life. Giving a small nod, her ears twitched at the mention of some sort of modern entertainment. Letting the words settle in her mind, she pursed her lips a little to pronounce them properly, looking to him for affermation, "...Parks that are amusing..? Are there jesters of some sort there, that make it so?" tilting her head, a bit confused, she swiveled her ears forward, "Or are there amusing things at this park that make it so? ..but I do not see how a park could be as such, since they hold the same apperances as this forest here.. do others do strange things there to make it so?" quite puzzled by this, her tail flicked once, trying to put this together, but only coming up with a park with rather flamboyant colours and upside down plants. Even a few hybrids of creatures. That would be rather amusing indeed.

Roserain
Boris:
Listening on the proper etiquette of how to eat dew drops, never realizing exactly how odd that sounded, he decided that it definitely wasn't the diet for him. Even if the dew drops were on catnip leaves, he'd just end up eating the whole thing.
Watching as she puzzled over his explanation, his tail swung as he tried to think of a better way to describe it.

"It's... yea, in a sense. It's a park that's supposed to be fun for those that visit it. But it's not a real park, with trees and grass. It's all... fake. Made with metal and wires. It's all made to have fun, rides and such."

He thought better of his response and corrected himself.

"Well, I mean, yea there's trees and grass there. But it's mostly just buildings and stuff. Somehow I don't think you'd find it very amusing, actually..."

He hadn't really thought about it before, how different the manufactured world was from the natural one. It was clear what side Lavi was on, but he was kind of born of both worlds. Boris didn't think she'd really understand that, not knowing she herself could perhaps relate.

musicaloner7
Trying to her best ability to imagine what it must look like, she could only use natural things for references. Looking down at her paws, she took note of how her vine resembled a wire of sorts. She'd seen a few of those in her lifetime when exploring, but they were mostly rusted and deep in the earth. Coming to the pure light of the forest, she felt her wings warm, and the leaves on her vines seem to sigh in relief. She indeed could understand how he felt, yet in her own sense of being a half breed and all. But she figured that he hadn't seen many demons and angels in his day, as a half-breed was rare to come by. But that was alright. She was all to aware with the ways of imitating an image just to make things seem alright; as she didn't want to inconveience others moods with her own distresses. Giving a nod as she listened, she lightly let her vine on her paw slither further up her leg, and retract again idly. "There are use's to being conterfeit..." she murmured, more to herself, as the feline had already seen the lowering of her mask that had happened much too often around him. Shaking herself from her thoughts, she looked to th lake and trotted in a sort of jovial manner, her wings fluttering to allow her the small little window of gliding. Settling before the water's lip, she stared down at it, her tail curling neatly around her small frame. The fish kept to themselves, moving lazily about the predatorless habitat. Turning her head to look at her dear friend, she smiled cherubically, flicking her jewelry adorned ear.

Roserain
Boris:
Respecting the silence as they entered the sunlight dappled part of the forest, he watched her quietly, as if he could read her thoughts. Once more the vines entwined around her body seemed to move on their own accord; or maybe she was telling them to do so? It wouldn't be surprising, honestly. So his lil' Lavi could talk to butterflies, pet fish, and control vines. Maybe she should sign up to be a super hero.
Wait, what was that? Ears swiveling hard to catch her whisper, he became confused. Counterfeit? What did she mean?
But of course there was no time to ask before she had ran away to the safety of not delving too deep into personal matters. Frustrated, his tail snapped back and forth a few times before he got a hold of himself. It would take a great deal of patience, something he often lacked, to get Lavi to unfold. There was no forcing it either, he'd have as much luck forcing a flower to bloom; it would just fall apart in his paws.
Instead, he took a breath and then picked up his pace to join her at the water's edge. He could see the finned fillets below the surface and suddenly hoped that whatever Lavi had in store would work. He was often a much calmer and quieter cat after eating, and that seemed to be just the thing he needed at the moment.
"So Lav, what's the plan?~"

musicaloner7
Looking back to the pool of the all you can eat buffet, she surveyed the options, and read the body language of the sluggish fish. Letting the soft wings on her back lax, she let one extend around towards the front of her body, and raised a paw to pluck out a feather from within the depths of the gray plumage. Her wing instinctivly reacted by flinching a little, but it did little to no harm at all. Holding the small feather in her paw, she twirled it slightly, as if to examine it's stature, "In this style.. you tease the fish, a little.. but pretending to be their dinner." smiling lightly, she glanced to the feline, and carefully situated herself to lie on her stomach so as to prepare for the demonstration. As the vixen layed there, her body slowly began to relax; wings releasing from their usual tense state, and slacking a touch along her sides, eyes closing half way, as well as her ears tilting to the sides, "You can use any sort of bait that is rather flimsy.. and flexible.. able to immitate a distressed bug, or worm wriggling.." her voice grew softer and quieter; if that was even possible. Staying very still, only her dark olive eyes rolling along to watch the fish, she paused before speaking again, "..and the one's whose stomachs are rather bulged, and sometimes yellow.. those are mothers to be, and should be left so that they may produce offspring, so that we may have more.." a hint of a smile lifted at the corner of her lips, "..and becoming as relaxed as possible.. almost putting yourself into the fishes body.. helps to keep them calm.. and tollerante of your presence... for they can sense and disturbance rather well.."

Lost
| In-thread RP Full | People involved: - | Noodles involved: Alice | April 30th |

Kyaishi
Alice: Well, this was lovely. Not two minutes away from a landmark she had recognized, she had managed to get herself turned around and lost in a matter of moments.

Peachy.

As if she didn't have enough to worry about already... having not seen a familiar face in what seemed to be quite some time; although, her perception of the passage of time might have been just a tad bit skewed, what with the abnormal transitions she'd been having to make. Her worry wasn't for herself, so much as... well, all right, she might have been a little concerned about wandering out in a dark forest full of lunatics with guns, but that wasn't the point- she was concerned about the scant few friends she had made, and whether they were off killing each other for the fun of it.

Again.

Well... that might have been a bit harsh- perhaps she was giving them too little credit. In any case, there were no stalking rabbits or creepy grinning swordsmen behind her, so perhaps she could relax for the time being.

An exasperated huff escaped her as she stopped to gain her bearings.

Roserain

Note for Journal ref: Time skip, they've already met. Will do a formal beginning once more HnKnA characters are complete <3
Boris:
Ok, so maybe that hadn't been his best attempt to date. The guards were on to him, he'd have to change up his pattern soon. So far what he'd seen of the Castle and it's grounds were kind of boring, he'd been hoping there would be more of... well, something. At least he had escaped without getting shot, though there was a few scrapes from him scrambling along the top of the hedges quickly. The forest was peaceful after his daring escape, which was a bit dull in his opinion. Shame. Though sometimes it was nice to just be alone and enjoy the-
Alice?
He had been purposefully skirting the Hatter mansion on his way back to the amusement park, and hardly anyone came this far into the woods. Perhaps she was lost? Dropping from the tree he had been currently perched in, he approached quietly, falling into step next to her with his hands behind his head, grinning. It was always nice to see Alice~

"Alice! What are you doing way out here? ...Did Ace get you lost?"

His expression fell for a moment, thinking on the knight.

"Where are you trying to get to anyway?"

Kyaishi
Alice: Fiddling with the sleeves of her jacket as she wandered, muttering slightly under her breath, Alice was a bit too preoccupied to notice that she was no longer alone- perhaps, still an important weakness to take note of. Really, she was going to get herself into trouble one of these days, where her company was not quite as friendly.

Starting visibly at the casual greeting, she stumbled over her own feet and only managed to snag a low hanging branch to keep herself from falling over, holding a hand over her chest and shooting a half-hearted glare towards the perpetrator. Honestly, she shouldn't have been all that surprised... he was a cat, after all, light on his feet- but her own irritation at being lost had put her on edge and easily startled.

"Boris! Don't do that, you nearly gave me a heart attack!"

After the moment of initial surprised had passed, however, she softened a bit and offered him a small smile, relieved that she hadn't had to wander into something... unsavory to finally gain direction. "No, I haven't seen Ace... though I think his directional skills might be beginning to rub off on me a bit, since I seem to have walked right past the path I was looking for." She made a point of turning around in a circle and throwing her hands up in exaggerated frustration. "Everything looks the same out here! How do you find your way in the dark? I was heading back to the watch tower, but..." she trailed off here, finally turning to get a good look at him in the pale moonlight.

"...Have you been fighting again?"

Roserain
Boris:
His face contorted in concern as she stumbled, reaching out to help her, but his hand never touched, instead hovering a few inches from her arm just in case she needed the support as she steadied himself. He was starting to learn that contact wasn't something she always enjoyed, despite how much he loved touching her. it always gave him a little thrill, even something as simple as his fingertips brushing her shoulder. Not that he'd say it out-loud, ugh, he would sound like Peter! What an annoying rabbit.
Her glare made his ears flick back for a moment, internally a bit hurt that she was seemingly angry at him, but outwardly he acted cool and unfazed, shrugging it off.

"Er, sorry? You shouldn't be walking about and daydreaming though~ Might find yourself lost and in trouble."

The realization that Alice could die, really die and never come back, was such a dark and bitter thought he was still having a hard time processing it. He knew the Twins still couldn't even grasp the idea of it, being just too absurd a thought, but once he understood it felt like he'd swallowed a stone. Still, he kept his voice light, not wanting to let on to the inner workings between those furry ears of his. Her frustrated demonstration actually helped, making him smirk at how incredibly cute she was.

"Well, you're going the wrong way. It's south of here," he pointed for clarification, "you're heading... well. Actually not really anywhere."

His hand stroked his chin as his tail writhed for a moment, deciding that if she kept in this direction she'd miss the Hatter mansion by a hare, er... hair. And probably the amusement park too... if she had the stamina to walk that far. His hand fell as he looked at her in surprise at her accusation, debating for just a brief moment on whether or not he should lie.

"You... can tell? I was really safe this time, honest!"

Kyaishi
Alice: Despite his shrug and feigned indifference, Alice had caught the brief folding back of his ears, subtle as it was, and scolded herself for the inner desire to pet them and coo at the cuteness of it all. It could never be said that she wasn't a sucker for cute and fluffy things- Peter not withstanding-... but all the same, this was Boris.

His concern rapidly evaporated any of the lingering tension she felt with his surprise arrival, and allowed herself a small smile for his benefit, but her gaze lingered on some of the ragged edges of the cuts and scrapes that adorned his exposed arms. His clarification on where she had been headed was acknowledged with a brief nod, though she really wasn't paying attention anymore, shaking her head at the earnest admission. "Not safe enough, it seems. Come here."

Not paying any mind to how it might be misconstrued, as Alice was a bit of an expert at initiating miscommunications and being oblivious to them, she pulled the black ribbon from her hair and dabbed gently at a slightly bloodied scrape on his shoulder. "You didn't... kill any of them, did you?" she kept her tone forcibly neutral, though the idea of it all was still foreign to her. It was hard to accept that such things were everyday occurrences here, she couldn't expect any of that to change simply by her presence- but it was still a disturbing thought.

Even moreso was the idea that the people here seemed not to care a bit for their own lives, and continued to risk them on a daily basis for the fun of it. She couldn't imagine living with the knowledge that if you died, you'd simply be reborn as someone else... but would you truly be the same person? They seemed incapable of seeing it from her point of view, which was unsurprising, but it didn't stop her from trying. Or worrying when it failed.

Roserain
Boris:
His body went rigid when she approached with the unwound ribbon, feeling instantly guilty for causing her to worry. It would be an absolute lie if he said that her attentions were unwanted though, so he allowed the ministrations to the unworthy scrapes despite how pointless it was. If getting a few cuts merited her touching his arm he'd probably do it more often just to get her close to him... if it didn't put that look on her face. His tail drooped as she continued to clean his wounds with her own accessory, ashamed that he was gaining pleasure despite her obvious concern. It was touching that she cared so much. Would even bloody her ribbon to mop up his mess. He just couldn't allow it to continue, despite how warm it made him feel. He grabbed her wrist to pull her hand away from his shoulder, gently.

"I'm alright, really. And no. When they spotted me I ran."

Despite the fact that they were just some faceless, nameless guards. Despite the fact that his blood burned for the thrill of a bloody fight. Despite his very nature. She was asking so very much of him, to change his whole world in fact; even if she didn't know it. But, he would with a smile if it made her happy.

Kyaishi
Alice: She felt him tense under her gentle dabbing, but didn't pay much mind to it- of course he was probably uncomfortable with being tended to in this manner, but he'd just have to accept it if he wanted to hang around her- and he seemed quite fond of doing just that. The gentle grasp of her wrist and the slight push back, however, made her blink, but she only shook off his grasp and 'tsk'ed at him quietly.

"Don't be squeamish. You can get rid of this the moment I'm gone if you choose, but while I'm around, I don't want to see these get infected." Gently, she pushed his hand away and tied the strip of cloth around the worst-looking scrape- which wasn't at all bad in comparison to other injuries that she'd witnessed- but heaven knew what he'd get into when he was off adventuring again, and she didn't think he was likely to give any of his wounds a second thought.

Stepping back with a self-satisfied nod at her handiwork, she allowed her eyes to meet his again and smiled a bit, motioning towards the direction he'd indicated the tower was at. "I guess I'll head back to the path then- were you going back to the amusement park?"

Roserain
Boris:
He didn't dare brush her away a second time, knowing she could be just as stubborn as himself and not feeling like getting in a fight with her at this particular moment. He looked away with an annoyed flick of his tail as she nagged about him about infections and something else, he wasn't paying attention to her words, impatient now to get her to focus on something else. Truth was he knew they wouldn't get infected, hell, they wouldn't even be there the next time cycle. Still, he allowed her to finish since it seemed to make her feel better.
She smiled and it made the annoyance worth it, though so had the simple touch of her hand if he dared to admit it. His eyes widened a little at her mention of continuing on to the tower alone. Looking up at the leaf canopy for a moment, he shrugged and put his hands on his hips as he kicked out with one foot to turn towards the direction she'd indicated.

"Eh, I just remembered I had something I wanted to talk to Julius about. Now's as good a time as any."

Without giving her time to argue, he started towards the path, only turning for a moment to see if she was catching up.

Kyaishi

Alice: Watching him stroll off ahead of her for a moment, Alice blinked confusedly after him before regaining her senses enough to trot after him. Had to speak with Julius? Now that was odd. Everyone here seemed to know everyone else in some form or another, but she had never seen any indication that Boris was on friendly terms with the watch tower's keeper. Had barely seen them say two words to each other, in fact... what could they possibly have to talk about?

Her contemplations kept her silent for a few moments before curiosity won out, turquoise irises darting over to Boris before she opened her mouth to speak again. "What did you need to talk with Julius for?"

Perhaps it might have been nosy to ask, but Alice could be meddlesome at times... and all the same, it wasn't as if it could have been something deeply personal, or even relevant to the ongoing feud. The only thing she could think of that he might have needed to ask about was someone's clock... his? Was something wrong with it? Or had he lied and actually killed someone, and needed Julius to get someone to collect it? Both possibilities turned her stomach, but she wisely kept silent, not wanting to express her distress to her wary companion.

The distress didn't go away, however.

Roserain
Boris:
He waited the moments it took for her to catch up before continuing again, keeping his pace leisurely. It was a comfortable silence as far as he was concerned, until she called him on his bluff. Damn.

"Uh, well..."

He rose a hand to brush his hair back as he tried to buy time to come up with a decent excuse.

"It's about Gowland, see. He wants to know why Julius never comes by the amusement park."

It was as full of holes as smelly swiss cheese, but hopefully she didn't know enough about the politics yet to pick up on that. Besides, Julius never did really leave the tower, and using Gowland as an excuse was as good as any. He would wholeheartedly approve of the little lie to keep Alice safe. Probably. Maybe. Sorta.

"Why are you going there anyway? Wouldn't it be more fun at the amusement park? I'm sure we'd have a good time~"

He tried to keep her distracted off of the poor cover by using his typical flirtations. Though, the off chance she one day says yes would be well worth badgering her for.

Kyaishi
Alice: "...Oh. Well, all right then." It seemed a bit of an odd thing for Boris to go out of his way for, but she wouldn't dwell on it- it might be good for Julius to get out of the tower for a while... if he ever would. Somehow, Alice suspected he might just have to be dragged kicking and screaming. Mary... wouldn't be above doing that, however. The mental image of that scene was enough to send her into a fit of snickers, covering her mouth with her hand and suppressing it as much as she could, so as not to appear that she had lost her mind.

Well... she wouldn't have been the first one in this world to do so, anyway.

At his question, her eyes darted up to his again and nearly rolled, but she settled for an exasperated huff, tempered by a smile. "I'm sure we would, and if you're that adamant about it, maybe I'll visit more often, but I like where I'm staying now. Besides, Gowland would have to put me to work if I stayed there, and I'm not sure I like the idea of what I'd have to wear."

She still insisted on helping Julius wherever she could, which admittedly wasn't much- but it did make her feel that she was at least pulling a little bit of her weight. She knew he didn't agree with her need to help out, and that it annoyed him some of the time... most of the time... but all the same, she enjoyed feeling useful whenever she could.

Roserain
Boris:
If he was surprised she took the bait, he didn't show it, instead pretending to be hanging on for her answer about joining him at the park. Her muted laughter did make his ears perk and the smile on his face became more genuine; unsure of what he said that merited it but glad for it all the same. When she huffed his ears drooped dramatically, exaggerating his disappointment in an attempt to keep things comical. It really would be a wonderful night for it, warm weather, clear skies... her alone with him.
He sighed, letting a bit of the true letdown show, not wanting to give up on the happy image. Oh well, tonight he'd just have to settle for walking her home.

"Too bad~ Would've been fun, more fun than dusting and serving coffee, I bet."

He wagged a finger at her, winking as he did so. The chain bound to his wrist rattled softly, embellishing the movement. He dropped his hand only to grasp hers, demanding her attention.

"Promise me you'll drop by soon? It's boring without you, the Twins are always busy and the old man won't stop it with that horrible music."

He made what he hoped was a pleading face, not used to having to ask for anything from anyone.

Kyaishi
Alice: Again, there was that urge to pet those cute little ears as she watched them droop- this was Boris, Boris, not some helpless little alley kitten. She wasn't sure he'd appreciate being cooed over like a housecat... but then again, really, who knew. In any case, it seemed like his disappointment was exaggerated and false, but with Boris, she could never be entirely sure. Still, the blatant pout on his features tugged on her heartstrings enough to offer him a heartfelt smile and a pat on the shoulder- fake sadness or no.

"It probably would be more fun... and more well-received, but I'll take my chances for now."

His grip upon her hand startled her into a faint blush before she scolded herself for reacting to it that way, but smiled all the same and patted his hand, a little awkwardly, with her free one. The crack about Gowland's music made her laugh again softly, and the pleading look upon his face only added to the humor.

"Of course... just as long as you promise we won't go near that horrid 'coffee cup jet coaster' again." She wrinkled her nose at the memory.

Roserain
Boris:
His eyes slitted in delight when he detected just the hint of color on her cheeks. She recovered quickly, but he had already burned it into his memory. She was just so.. so... real. Delicate. Emotional. It was intoxicating, he just couldn't get enough of her. She laughed pleasantly and he eased his grip, reminded of the ride and just how fragile she could be. For a moment a mad desire to brush his fingertips over the back of her hand to soothe any possible bruising from his over zealous grip crossed his mind. It was tempting, so tempting, but he backed off the idea. He didn't want to appear so domesticated as that, after all. Instead, he laughed as she wrinkled her nose, her disdain absolutely adorable.

"I told the old man it still needed to be tested, but nooo~ But...maybe... do you like bumper cars?"

He crouched a little to get even closer to her face as his tail swayed happily. He mentally urged her to say yes, hoping so badly that he could take her for a ride on one of the cars he retooled.

Kyaishi
Alice: She most certainly wasn't fond of the memory of that ride... and even more embarassing to remember was her own fainting spell on said ride. Although, she supposed it was her own fault- Gowland had mistaken her sarcasm for genuine enthusiasm- she wondered how he could have possibly missed her flat tone and rolled eyes, but misconceptions seemed to be far more common here than anywhere else. About a great many things.

"Bumper cars?" she perked up at the mention, thinking back to the brief glance she'd given the attraction as they strolled through the amusement park previously, noting to herself how much fun the people had looked like they were having. She hadn't been particularly drawn to it then, but the look of bright hopefulness on Boris' face at that particular moment had her reconsidering her words before she spoke aloud, not wanting to disappoint.

"I've never actually tried it, but it did look like fun." She offered him a smile for emphasis- it seemed that whenever she did, he was always reassured and happier, for some odd reason. She didn't really take the time to think through why that might be- oblivious was something she did very well. She felt his grip on her hand loosen a bit and squeezed briefly in gratitude.

"Is it your favorite ride?"

Roserain
Boris:
He closed his eyes for a moment as his smile grew to idiotic proportions. She'd never been on them? He'd be the first to take her on the bumper cars? Life was sweet.

"Oh, they're definitely fun. And they have seat belts and everything, so you'll be safe."

Deciding to leave out the part about the modifications he made to his own personal car, his eyes opened when she tightened her hold for just a brief moment. Though it was truly just friendly contact, it felt so good to have her this close. Lost in thought for a moment, his ears perked when she questioned him, and he blinked before standing up once more. Not letting go of her hand, he tilted his head with a grin before starting down the path again, his free hand ruffling his hair.

"My favorite ride? I don't know honestly. I kind of... get bored easily. So my preference changes a lot. Though, whichever one you'd like to go on with me would probably be my favorite~"

His smile became shy at this honest admittance, keeping his face forward to avoid her seeing the sincerity.

Kyaishi
Alice: Had she known him a little less and were a bit more unfamiliar with the strange goings-on here, Alice might have been just a tad concerned with the ever-growing smile on Boris' face... though, she had to hand it to him, he did know how to have fun. At the amusement park. His other definitions of 'fun'- raiding the castle and getting into scuffles with the guards- were a bit more questionable... but the amusement park was fair game, at least.

She would draw the line at anything life threatening... but Boris seemed to be the sole person in this world that had actually understood her lecture on the importance of life.

Well... perhaps 'understood' wasn't quite the word. 'Respected' would most likely be more appropriate.

In any case, despite herself, she found his excitement contagious as he pulled her forward again, and she stumbled briefly before catching up to his pace, but smiled at his enthusiasm. "Well, if you say it's safe, I'll trust you- as long as it's not another one of Gowland's 'untested' rides."

His next comment caught her by surprise- or rather, the sincerity in his voice surprised her. Despite her own earlier reservations, Alice found herself unexpectedly touched by the offhanded comment, only further proven by his refusal to look at her after his shy admittance. Smiling to herself as she knew he couldn't see it at this moment, she squeezed his hand again warmly.

"Well, barring any more of those unopened rides, I'll go with you on whatever you want next time, okay?"

Roserain
Boris:
Nodding to reassure her, he mulled over the term 'safe'. Or at what point fun outweighed safe to be more precise. As long as he kept her from getting hurt, he'd deem it a success.

"Promise. None of the old man's crazy suggestions."

Setting a leisurely pace, not really looking forward to reaching the tower, he debated leading them astray, at least for a little while. They would soon reach a split, if he kept straight they'd head right to the tower... but to the right was sort of a long way. There was still time to decide, and with her hand grasping his again, he couldn't help but turn to look at her. An ear flicked in thought, wondering yet again what it would sound like. What it would feel like...
His gaze lowered to her chest, to the fabric covering her heart, before he turned away. To feel the warmth of her hand pressed into his was enough for now.

"You mean that Alice? Any ride?"

He winked at her, hiding his serious mood under the more comfortable mask of his playful self.

"Oh! I could show you my room, you haven't been there yet. Or get lunch. Hm. Sounds like a full day. Are you free tomorrow?"

Enthusiastically rambling off other things they could do, he really hoped that she'd change her mind about living at the tower. Despite the park being full of entertaining things, it was all so mundane compared to her.

All Work and No Fun...
| In-thread RP Snippet | People involved: None | Noodles involved: Boris, Regal| May ? |

Dreaming Wide Awake
Regal: *sitting almost perfectly still at the top of a waterfall, his ears the only thing moving. Slowly twisting this way and that honing his hearing in on all the little sounds he can catch around the sound of the waterfall. His eyes are closed and his tail is curled perfectly around his feet. An air of noble grace clinging around him, as the sunlight glints in his fur making him look very much like his mother.*

Roserain
Boris:
It was hot. At least, hot to a particular feline wearing more fur than really necessary. All the same, this was not the temperature he ordered.
But there was an easy fix for this. Lounging in the shade of a tree hadn't been good enough, and he knew of nice pool of water that even had a waterfall close by...

It wasn't long at all before Boris had come to the water's edge, carefully discarding his boa on the branch of a nearby tree, before running and leaping into the cooling water. He let out a happy yell before hitting the surface, making a rather good splash as his body slammed in.

Dreaming Wide Awake
Regal: His ears twitched and shot forward at the sound of a yell. Red eyes flew open and he looked down catching only the splash of water as some 'fell' in. He acted purely on instinct as he dove from the top of the waterfall into the pool below. His natural want to save those in trouble kicking in full force. He wasted no time in finding the other fox under the water and trying to drag him out of the pool and onto land. All in a very misdirected attempt to 'save' the other.

Roserain
Boris:
Completely caught off guard as someone grasped at him, his first reaction was obviously to struggle. It was an awkward angle, and he was caught by surprise, so his efforts were futile as he lost his air and took in a mouth of water; allowing whoever it was to drag him out and onto the grass. He sputtered, flailing to get the assailant off of him, only catching a glimpse of the other.

"What the hell, man?"

He coughed a bit more, eventually getting his breath back. Sitting up, he glared at the other, confused.

Dreaming Wide Awake
Regal shook himself off before sitting down curling his tail around himself and looking at the other. He was rather poofy now because of the water but he didn't seem to mind it. "Excuse me?" He asked not fully understanding the question. As 'What the hell man?' had never been asked of him before. He blinked the confusion evident in the blood red of his eyes. "I am afraid I do not understand what you are asking. But did you not just fall into the water? I was saving you Sir." Regal stated standing up and falling into a sweeping bow.

Roserain
Boris:
Wringing the water out of his tail, he quirked an eyebrow at the 'sir' bit. Where did this guy come from? Even Lavi was more streetwise than this.
Flicking his ears to rid them of water, he sat back and examined the other, ingesting the information he gathered.

"You're one of those guys that never have fun, huh?"

Dreaming Wide Awake
Regal blinked in confusion a moment returning from his bow to a sitting position. "Fun? Well I wouldn't say I never have fun. I have plenty of fun, probably not your definition of fun but to me its fun. So I guess there is no right or wrong answer to your question. Its more a self defeating topic anyway. As everyone's thoughts, feelings and emotions are different." Regal spoke slowly and carefully his tail flicking to curl around his paws once more as he inclined his head again.

Roserain
Boris:
Was he for real? Boris would put money down that he'd never had a day of fun in his life.
By now the water was forgotten, though his fur was still wet. Instead, he found his curious companion much more entertaining. He even seemed... familiar. Somehow. Flopping down in the grass, his tail wriggling as he looked at the other with a curious stare, Boris shrugged at the sentiment.

"I suppose, but I mean, generally they're pretty close. You know, getting stabbed sucks and getting free food rocks. I mean, there's bound to be a universal guideline somewhere."

The fact that they had completely lost base with the original topic didn't bother Boris in the slightest.

Reunion
| In-thread RP Snippet | People involved: None | Noodles involved: Boris, Lavi | May 24th |

musicaloner7

Lavius: *Calmly lying in a bed of flowers secluded within the depths of the most dense forest, the vixen rested. It'd been awhile since she'd seen her family... since.. the day she'd went into hiding from what she so feared. Though she was distressed most times, it wasn't visible on her exterior, that soft gentle expression always remaining. The flowers surrounding her slowly changed different shades, and species, like a kaleidoscope, the butterflies resting underneath the flora's shading petals and leaves*

Roserain
Boris:
*Normally on a day like this he would've been found lounging in his favorite tree, but things were not well in his world, and the agitation was fairly obvious. He'd taken to finding trouble wherever he could as of late, but sometimes the others just didn't want to play along. Like today. After being blown-off, dismissed, and otherwise ignored, he was restless and perhaps a little down.
To ease the stress, he was currently racing across the treetops, savoring the feel of freedom. The sun was warm in the patches that filtered through the leaves, and the breeze was just divine. Which is probably why he could smell so many flowers and... wait.
He nearly missed his next mark, having to scramble on a branch to keep from an untimely fall. Back-tracking a tree and heading a little east, he picked up the somehow familiar scent. What was that, anyway? But then, movement. Butterflies.
Beneath him lay quite a sight. He grinned to himself, watching the form that lay beautifully among the foliage.*

"Oh Laviiii~"

musicaloner7
Lavius: Lovely pristine white tail laying along her narrow snout, covering the majority of her sculpted face. Body tightly curled into a ball, she was rather deeply in her rest. But a flick of her ear, as a butterfly crawled along the pierced one, whispering softly to the vixen caused gem-like olive glowers to peel open and reveal themselves. Boris? That's what the little insect had murmured to her... but... he hadn't been around in so long..! Lifting her head carefully, making the butterfly's below the petals flutter and emerge in a whirlwind of colour around her. Blinking tiredly, slowly lifting her head to look around, her nose twitched daintily, instantly honing in on the scent above her, tipping back her head to look up the surrounding funnel of circling bugs. "Bo...Boris...!" she breathed, eyes widening more, a smile spreading along her features. It didn't take long for the rest of her body to react, lifting onto tiny paws, tail curling and writhing into an 's' shape formation. "Boris! I can't believe it is you!" her soft voice exclaims, the flowers around her flushing into a bright array of joyous hues.

Roserain

Boris:
Aw, she was so cute when she looked up at him like that. Even from here he could see the glint of her earring, his unintentional parting gift before he had disappeared. How long since he'd last seen her face? A year? Just about. He laughed aloud in his joy, his signature grin plastered across his muzzle.

"Of course, m'dear! Even nightmares couldn't keep me away forever~"

Tucking his furry ruff beneath his chin to secure it before leaping, he used the trunk to skitter down, landing but a few feet from his old friend. Seeing her this close though, he was still surprised at how, well, adult she'd become. He fondly recalled the small kit that had played under a tree with him what felt like a lifetime ago, and tried to converge that image with the one before him now.

"Lil' Lavi... still can't get over how the lil' part doesn't fit anymore. How in the world are you? It's been ages! And, how's Kite?"

He looked for the famous butterfly, but with so many swirling around, it was right impossible to tell which one was him. He turned his head every which way, his jewelry clinking softly as he did so.

musicaloner7
Lavius: The butterflies easily picked up on their guardian's happiness, their fluttering wings frantically, becoming mere blurs as they bustled about. Eyes intent on the figure that descended, the vixen couldn't keep herself at bay, and trotted to her dearest friend, giving an affectionate nuzzling to his cheek, "Boris.. I had thought you went on to another land. " she steps back a little to give him a once over, seeing that he seemed to be in good health, her smile unable to leave her lips. She was practically bubbling internally with joy! But his question made her falter slightly, and eyes cast aside for a brief moment, "Oh, well. I suppose I've been.. quite all over the place, to be quite honest.." she confesses, returning her attention back at the level it had been before, "But what of you, Boris? Where had you gone to? An adventure perhaps?" and as if on cue for his appearance, the familiar blue butterfly flitted to land on the tip of Boris` ear, wings fanning in a slow motion, causing Lavi to giggle in her usual feathery manner, "That would be him, right there."

Roserain
Boris:
Unsure how to respond at first when she pressed against him, nuzzling him, he could feel his face grow hot for a moment before he coughed, quickly returning the gesture before stepping back. It wasn't the obvious affection that had made him feel awkward so much as his own reaction to it. He turned away the tip of his tail bobbing in thought, until she started speaking. Lavi distanced herself and eyed him, sizing him up apparently. Chuckling, he struck a pose, feeling more like himself now that there was some breathing space. The moment passed quickly, however; her statement sinking in.

"I kinda was, Lavi. It's... hard to explain."

Too wrapped up in himself, he stood there quietly for a time before realizing she was suffering. Her answer barely concealed whatever was troubling her. Sitting in the patch of flowers, only thinking to make sure he wasn't crushing anything or anyone after the fact (and checking around himself and beneath his paws quickly just to make sure), he gave her a worried look.

"All over the place? Searching for something, or running?"

Her focus was still on him though, and he wasn't sure she heard him amidst her questions. Grinning again, he waited for her to calm down before sharing any information, but before he could get to that there was this itch upon his ear. Flicking it, he dislodged the butterfly unceremoniously, apologizing when he realized what it was.

"Ah, sorry Kite. Promise I won't move this time~"

Too Far
| AIM RP Full | People involved: None | Noodles involved: Boris, Cy | May 29th/30th |

Dreaming 3:23 pm
Cy: *Lounging quite calmly in a tree, her tail swaying softly below. Her body splayed along the limb head on paws and a completely bored look on her face.*

AmeOokami 3:28 pm
Boris:
Booooorrred. Why were things so slow today? It was only early afternoon and this day just was dragging. Jumping down from a favored perch, he paced along the forest floor, taking paths at random; completely confident he could always find his way out.
Who knows? Maybe he'd end up somewhere new, and this horrible day of nothing would finally end.

Dreaming 3:34 pm
Cy:
*Her ears perk slowly at the sounds of what could be footsteps and the soft jingle of chains.* I wonder. *Spoken softly to herself as she lifts her head from her paws, the stars attached to her horns jingling slightly. She snorts softly and waits tail moving from its swishing motion to a curl and uncurling motion.*

AmeOokami 3:44 pm
Boris:
Hmmmm? Had he..? No. He hadn't heard anything. Shrugging it off nonchalantly, he continued his meandering, though perhaps a little less lost in thought as he was before. Something just wasn't feeling quite right here...

Dreaming 3:52 pm
Cy: *Is sure she has heard someone by now and as such has stood up on her branch tail curled up over her back and wings spread... waits... and takes note of the... pink... very pink... male that wanders into view... oh yes... the perfect little prey... she waits very calmly until the last possible moment and then... POUNCE. Dives out of the tree wings spread as she tries to pin this male to the ground.*

AmeOokami 4:03 pm
Boris:
Ok, something was really wrong. Ears flicking back and forth, his gait paused briefly. Nothing seemed out of place. Huh. Continuing forward, the only warning he got was the sound of scraping against tree bark before something heavy landed on his back. Tensed, he dropped quickly, rolling in the loam in an attempt to dislodge his attacker.
"Who in the HELL are you?!"

Dreaming 4:10 pm
Cy: *Tail flick as she bounces off of him and stands butt up in the air and head down a 'growl' passing her lips. A clear sign of play as her tail lashes back and forth.* Who are you? *Refuses to answer his question but dashes at him again wings tucked close to her sides as she does so.*

AmeOokami 4:25 pm
Boris:
He feels her come loose and finds his paws, putting them beneath himself again and skidding away from her. He stands with his back arched, tail bottle brushed in anger until he faced her, recognizing the gesture easily. Ooooooh. So, she liked it rough, eh? His ears had held a rigid forward posture before, but now he slid them to the side, grinning wickedly. He briefly noted the length of her tail, but decided he'd have time to examine it later (preferably when she was pinned), as she dodged his question and came at him.
Digging his claws into the soil for traction, he squared away with her, letting his shoulder, padded by his furred boa, take the brunt of her weight. Pressing forward, trying to overpower her, he grunted playfully.
"I do believe I asked you first~"

Dreaming 4:38 pm
Cy: *Skids into him realizing her mistake a bit too late as she feels the softness of the boa which is a splendid gift from above because honestly slamming into his shoulders would have been painful. Is nearly toppled by the sudden weight of him pressing down on her before she flares her wings to regain balance and then springs into the air using her wings to propel her up and back into the tree looking down at him. Wings spread and tail lashing.* Ah but you see that matters little to me... I am the stronger.

AmeOokami 5:27 pm
Boris:
His grin became larger, looking almost evil as he smiled down at her, until she remembered her wings. Leaning back to avoid any lashing from her taking flight, his tail flickered in amusement as he looked up. She looked fit to kill, and that was just fine with him. Suddenly his afternoon wasn't so boring afterall.
"Oh? I never got that memo, Miss Long Tail. Last I checked, I'm pretty sure I almost had you there~"
*Bunching up his muscles, he fired himself up the tree, gripping the trunk with his claws. Reaching her perch, he balanced himself easily, grinning at her before he winked.

Dreaming 7:27 am
Cy: *Stand tall and proud and as regal as any predator. A creature fit to take the life of something lesser. A smile slips across her maw as she gently lets her tail sway back and forth before she lunges again going over his head to bounce off the tree and lash her tail at his feet as she zips back past skiding across the tree branch.* Will Mr. Pink that is what you get for thinking. You assume you almost had me there... because I let you believe that. *Is looking back over her shoulder as she speaks.*

AmeOokami 12:49 pm
Boris:
Watching her pose, he noted she felt absolutely no fear about their confrontation, as if she was in total control. It annoyingly reminded him a lot of someone he knew. That smug b*****d...
She rushed, snapping him back to attention. Dropping, pressing his belly against the branch, Boris tilted his head to watch her dark form go sailing above him, tail lashing behind her. After she rebounded off the trunk, he realized how percarious his situation was. She might have wings, but there was nothing to stop him from a nasty fall. Unless he was very, very quick about conjuring a door... but the fall probably wouldn't buy him enough time for that.
Instead of worrying, his grin only widened into a cheshire smile.
"Everyone always comments on the pink..."
His eyes narrowed in aggressive play, responding to her remark. Ignoring her other comments, not caring if she talked herself up, he flicked his tail and drummed his claws, deciding it was time to drop the niceties. She wanted to play hard? Well, this cat was game.

Dreaming 1:15 pm
Cy:
She gave a smug little smirk over her shoulder as she noted the change in his demenor. "Hmm and everyone always comments on the tail. So that makes us even I suppose. But really... a boy in pink... how manly." There was a teasing note in her voice but it was clear that she was also giving a challenge, she was questioning not only his strength but his gender as well. She lowered herself so that her belly was against the tree and her tail twisted in little s patterns behind her towards him, though what good this was supposed to do was yet unknown. She seemed poised waiting for an attack.

AmeOokami 1:30 pm
Boris:
His ears folded back at her coy response, his smirk becoming absolutely wicked.
"Oy, you don't want to go down that path, girlie. I might just show you exactly how manly this 'boy in pink' is~"
Adding weight to his point, he took a step towards her, shoulders hunched forward in a predatory manner. When she lowered herself to the rough bark, a deep rumble sounded in his chest; something akin to both a purr and a growl. Her position and their power struggle was starting to raise some illicit feelings in the male feline. Thoughts were starting to form that would probably make Alice shy away in disgust, but how could he not when she was so... displayed.
His attention diverted by the tail, twining it's way along the branch towards him, he had the strongest urge to bite down on it, but instead only noted the movement, wondering at her plan.

Dreaming 1:49 pm
Cy:
"Doubtful my dear." She stated simply as she yawned wide at him. A clear sign of how boring she thought he was. Her tail continued it's path until it almost touched his feet though she took care to not allow this. Eventually it had wormed its way halfway down the branch which was an impressive lenght in and of itself. "So little boy, just how good are you?" She questioned in a purr as the strangest of smells slipped into the air. One at first would wonder at the smell, as it was oddly sweet smelling at first but as time went on it turned almost sickly if Boris were to look down at this point he would see the smallest bits of smoke rising from the wood. A perplexing situation indeed as the bits of smoke were rising from where her tail was, it was odd that she didn't seem to notice or care that this was happening as she awaited his answer.

AmeOokami 2:08 pm
Boris:
When she yawned his lips tightened in vexation; she was toying with him. There was more going on that he was being led to believe, otherwise she wouldn't be baiting him like this. His brows knitting together in frustration, he met her challenging tone with a low growl, daring her to try anything. There was something else too, a new smell was permeating the air. He couldn't for the life of him tell what it was, but the little wisps of smoke was a dead giveaway of danger. It was time to shake some tail, either attack or back off. Honestly, the thought of leaving this fight hanging was just unthinkable to him, but fighting in the air left him with a disadvantage.
Time to turn the tables.
"Good enough to handle you, kitty~"
Leaping off of the branch, he gripped the ruff in his paws, bunching it beneath himself to cushion the shock of landing. Hitting the ground, he rolled after the fall, trying dissipate the momentum. His limbs would feel it tomorrow, but nothing broken. Thankfully.
Glaring up at her, he shook himself, rather dog-like, to rid the clinging brambles and dead leaves stuck to himself.
"In fact, you're not worth my time."
Turning his back on the black cat, he flicked his tail in her direction dismissively, slowly strolling away. Hoping she'd follow and continue this little scuffle on the ground.

Dreaming 2:19 pm
Cy:
She watched him with a critical eye before snorting at him. "If you say so... taking the easy way out. Cute, but uninteresting. Very well I am sure there are others who can be of some entertainment." She wouldn't admit it but damn if she wasn't tired of watching males walk away from her... tired of watching people in general walk away from her but she woud not degrad herself by chasing after him. She growled as the branch finally snapped under her weight and the weaking of the poison. It fell crashing to the ground with her on it. She spread her wings to slow her decent landing lightly on the crumbling branch. "Good day." She stated politely as she pranced off in the oppsite direction, her tail twisting into a spirial by her hip.

AmeOokami 2:37 pm
Boris:
Secretly, he agreed that this was the boring way out. Not sure about easy, as every part of him itched to turn around and race back up the tree to claw her in the face, but he didn't want to show that she'd gotten that far under his fur. His pride demanded that he ignore her, as if that would prove that she was beneath his attention. His ears flicked back at the sound of cracking, and for a moment he became excited that maybe she had decided to chase down after all. However; he played it cool and refused to turn around to investigate, instead only pausing briefly, listening to the sound of the branch come crashing down, and the subtle but distinct whoosh as her wings opened. Tensing in preperation incase she landed on his back again, he waited... and waited.
Nothing.
Boris couldn't hear her touch ground again, but the sound of her farewell and the crush of plantlife under her paws as she made her exit was plain enough.
Well s**t.
Frowning, he continued his march forward, his disappointment obvious from his face. What was he going to do now to kill the boredom?

Dreaming 3:03 pm

Cy had her nose in the air as she walked, the vixen looking for all the world like a woman scorned. ... and we all know what they say about that. She slipped off to lay across a heated rock, her more dragon instincts taking over as she resting in the warmth of the sun. Oh she would get him back she would teach him to walk away from her. She was so angry she could taste it which only seemed to make it worse. She would get him back and she knew beyond a doubt that it wasn't so much his fault he had become the center of her ire. Had this happened awhile back she would have brushed it off and gone on about her day... however after loosing one too many play toys she was angered by her sudden inability to take control. She knew she was using him as an object for release but frankly she didn't care. It would be another hour before she had calmed herself enough to think up a plot she felt was suitable for this purpose now all she needed to do was find him again. She stood stretching out her long lithe body her tail curling as she yawned. This should be fun.
