Amazing view from the top! Although I'm kinda curious why they haven't torn it down or repaired it? Did it feel as rickety as it looked?

Not really, but the wind was very strong. Those pictures are a little old; when I went there for my honeymoon last year they were re-building it. And I think Eevee and James said that it was finished now, but they still blocked off the very top? Iuno.

I loved climbing that thing, especially since the bottom had no stairway, so we had to pull ourselves up.

I may live in a city now, but I was raised out in the country. I'm used to swimming in water with other living creatures that you can't see. Had close encounters with snapping turtles and water moccasins, and have had to remove leeches a few times xd

*thinks* My biggest fear is probably flying/falling, but I love climbing things.

I would cry so much. When I have swam in waters like that, I was attached to someone else at all times.

Lake Michigan was pretty though. Nice and clear so I could see the bottom. I blame AYAOTD episode Dead Man Floats.

The scariest part of the movie Silence is when he falls out of the old theater house and into the lake below it.

Diabolical Eevee

This is a long wall of waterfall/fountain near a hotel here in town, I just snapped a section of it. Very nice place to sit and relax.


One of the bridges downtown, you can see how low the river is right now sad After a heavy rain it can actually lap up over the walkway where I was standing.
