[ORP:FIN] The Great Water Balloon War [closed]

Loading the launcher, he waited until Missy was in site. Seth would come later..he'd pay him back in do turn~ Why not have a little fun? You only live once after all.

Taking aim he watched the projectile sail threw the air. Seeing it curve it was likely bound to splash. Heh, try and dodge that, his tail flicked in anticipation. Yeah, he had a death wish.

Considering his targets down below, Seth decided to aim for Mena. After all, Dacj had taken aim of the kitty earlier and missed.

Aaaaand he missed too. Oh well, it wasn't like he'd hit every target he aimed for.

Melisande had barely recovered from Dacj's indecorous volley when another one was headed her way! Luckily, this one splashed in front of her--sure, she got wet, but the balloon debris missed her hair this time at least. She straightened up, took a deep breath, and counted to ten like Eli had always told her to do as a child. Then, malice glittering in her baby blue eyes, she sprinted for the building and headed straight for the elevator. When she got to the roof, there was going to be hell to pay.

"Haevan!" Dacj said, squealing again as she witnessed the blow. "We're gonna die!" She grabbed another balloon from the pile with her club and chucked it over at the wolf. "Take that!"

He'd seen the tentacled female go for a balloon, and her desperate cries of warning had almost made him fall over from pure delight. "Heh, 'ah 'm sorry~ I'll try 'n keep 'er attention?" he offered with a wink, also noting the ruined balloon, then Dacj herself.

Oh snap, Missy was heading their way. They were totally screwed. Also... where had his mom gotten to? A potentially dangerous duo. Ah well, he'd be ready when the time came. For whatever reason, he decided he might as well try hitting Mena once more.

And he failed again! Ok, for now he might as well stay on the alert lest an angry pig Hyte came after them.

Before the world ended, he might as well try and get one more balloon firing in~ Quickly snagging another balloon from the pile he loaded the launcher and took aim at Dacj. "Hm~"

Perhaps it was the impending doom..or the attack of the giggle fits, whatever the case may have been it really didn't matter. The balloon Haevan had intended to reek havoc harmlessly went sailing off the roof. The wolf felt his sides pang as he laughed at his failed attempt at retaliation. "Oi.. 'ah 'm terrible at eet." he shook his head smiling.

Mena chuckled and waved up at Seth. "Nice try!" she shouted up at him. "Oop, make that two. Sorry, Seth, you'll have to do better than that!"

Dacj groaned as Haevan dodged her throw. Darn these fast Hytes! Well, maybe it was just that she had little to no desire to dodge particularly herself. She liked the water! She stuck her tongue out at him. "You'd better!" she warned. "Don't let her get within karate-chopping distance either!" She barely had to shift to get out of the way of Haevan's balloon thrown at her, and she grinned at his laughter.

Melisande tapped her foot inside the elevator. Maybe taking the stairs would have been faster...

But finally, finally, Melisande made it to the roof. It looked as if they'd stashed balloons alongside the whole side of the roof overlooking the party below. So all she had to do was grab some...

She broke out into another sprint, grabbed a balloon, and aimed for what she considered the most dangerous of the group--Dacj, with her many tentacles. "Moi does not appreciate your ruining of moi's delicately coiffed hair!" Melisande said, reaching for more ammo.

Ouch! That hurt! the kraken thought, snapping back her tentacles as the balloon made a direct hit on the equivalent of her tentacle-thighs. "Well I'm not the only one!" she protested, moving backward and looking for someone to hide behind--and finding Seth. "Don't let her get me!" she pleaded, attempting to duck behind him.

Seth had to chuckle as well. "I think you have a forcefield around you, Mena," he said with a grin. Although really, he wouldn't put such a thing past the cat Hyte. he took aim at Haevan once again (just for fun) and lobbed the balloon his way. Not quite a direct hit, but hopefully he'd still have splashed him.

Haevan rubbed at his teary eyes and nodded to Dacj. In honesty, the wolf had trained as a child. His old man would bring him to a clan of what he called 'wolves'. More like werewolves. It came as second nature, whether he noted it actively or not was another story.

"Aye.. 'ah will do mah best.." he nodded solomly, eyeing the roof top door as if it were bound to explode off it's hinges. "Oi. 'ah imagine eets ah 'bout ta get manic soon." he peered over the edge of the room at took aim at Mena waving to her as he attempted to pick up were Seth left off. "But..least eet's been fun." he chuckled.


"Darn." he blinked at Mena as he watched the balloon lazily splash, having clearly missed her. "Ah think Seth es on ta somethin'" he tilted his head. .

OI! Incoming from all sides!~ Would he be quick enough, he thought to himself.

Hyped from all the excitement the wolf scooted away from the splash, watching as it harmlessly attacked his already wet shirt. "Ye 'r next." he grinned at the cheetah.

Oh snap, Missy was finally on the roof. He chuckled at haevan's promise, and picked up a balloon to lob the pig Hyte's way. Had to protect his teammate after all!

Success! Of course, the pig Hyte would likely be coming after him next.

Oh dear.. Missy had arrived. Turning his attention onto the blonde he took aim and let loose the device hoping to distract her.

Which certainly seemed to pannel out as he'd promised Dacj. Grinning sheepishly he waved at Missy. "Oi, been 'ah while." the wolf beamed, more amused he AND Seth had landed there respective balloons. Oh yes, the time to die was fast approaching.

Mena batted her eyes skyward--not that any of them on the roof would be able to tell--and chuckled. "Why, I'd have had to have predicted your stratagem~ Force fields are tricky buggers to power, you know, and attract all kinds of unwanted attention. More trouble than they're worth, really~"

Melisande made a shrill noise as Seth's balloon got her in the shoulder, drenching her cute little halter top. The outrage! She pulled back the balloon in hand and threw real force into the projectile she launched at Seth--if she was really lucky, she'd hit Seth and Dacj behind him would get splashed.

Melisande squealed again as Haevan's balloon hit her, this once landing on her side. "Moi is going to make sure none of you leave this rooftop dry," she growled, grabbing another balloon.

Time for another dodge roll. He was fortunate this time around, but with so many balloons flying through the air, how long would he manage to stay dry for? "You'd better run, Haevan," he said with a laugh, grabbing another water balloon and moving on.
