In my experience, the only people who say "It just plain sucks" are the people who can't draw worth s**t. Or...if the drawing does "just plain suck". But that's in no way shape or form any kind of "constructive criticism" and any decent person would not tell someone that anything just sucks.
I hate people like that.
I once drew something in a style inspired by Johnen Vasquez and Tim Burton and this girl attacked me saying that I needed to take lessons in drawing anatomy.
When my whole intention was to make the drawing look like that.
She argued with me for days telling me I was attempting to draw anime styled stuff when...that was clearly not what the drawing was.
She got bashed quite a bit by some other people, though for doing that...
Anyways, sorry, but I was ranting, too redface
