The Gunblade sorta looks like its abt to break ur wrist
1st Tsurugi is an awesome sword, Combined with others and its deadly
Buster sword looks like an iron chock.. O.o heavyness..
Masamune is overpowered...
and rapier looks like a light sabre.. LOL

I mean we got to see it pass from Angeal to Zack to Cloud.
And it represents dreams and honor. XD

Yeah and Cloud just leaves it to rot in the middle of nowhere! I couldn't believe he did that after how Angeal and Zack cared for it and treasured it. I always thought it would've made more sense for him to keep it...

Anywho onto the main topic, I would vote for the gunblade. It offers strategic opportunities that a regular sword wouldn't. And come on, between Squall's array of gunblades, as well as Lightning's, there were quite a few kick-a** variants. biggrin

He didn't just "leave it in the middle of nowhere", that's the place where zack died, it's a memorial... I'm still sad about that scene... it actually made me cry...

Um... the gunblade isn't able to shoot people... when the barrel goes off it makes the blade vibrate and create deeper more painful wounds.

Well actually it would depend on which version you're talking about. With Squall's gunblade style that would be true, however it is possible to shoot people with Lightning's style gunblades.
