[PRP] I Thought I Was Alone? (Blossom & Fish Bones)

Blossom's eyes widened slightly at the offer. She looked about her; it was a good day for a swim..right? She nodded and added a hum of approval. Though there was the fact that she wasn't the best swimmer in the swamp, and her legs were slow to touch the water. The cool liquid felt pleasant as her front hooves submerged. They hit the bed of the creek, but the rest of her body remained sitting on land. She probably looked foolish, but she was cautiously taking her time. One wrong move could most definitely make her look foolish. And she didn't want that! Not in front of this handsome bu--

Handsome? She looked at him, not turning her head. Yes that was true..he was handsome. Smiling shyly, she inched forward, trying to hide the fact she thought him handsome.

Blossom watched as Fish Bones eased himself into the water. Oh, how easy he made it look! She felt the mud slide underneath her hooves, but felt emboldened by his deft movements. She let her front hooves slide forward as he hind legs followed into the water. Each leg seemed to drift in seperate directions, but she concentrated to keep standing straight. Moving closer to the buck, Blossom was about to kneel down and face him as well. Unfortunately, she slipped and sprawled out with her belly on the creek's bottom. With the water up to her neck, she blushed vividly and scrambled to get into a sitting position. Ahh now she'd done it. Here comes the laugh, she thought.

Blossom giggled quietly and nervously. That was odd, he didn't laugh at her... "Y-yes, I'm fine." she said, but she conveniently left out that her confidence was not. The rosy doe managed to get herself into a more comfortable position but could not meet the eyes of the buck in front of her. Even though he sounded genuinely worried for her welfare, she couldn't help but be embarrassed by her fall. Normally every move she makes is graceful, like she is always dancing, and that is usually the case. But perhaps it was because she isn't as fluid as the water IN the water, or maybe because she was unused to being in the prolonged presence of another kimeti. Male kimeti. Handsome male kimeti. Ahh there she goes again and the shy doe blushed once more, bowing her head in a way that seems like she's trying to hide.

She smiled, still trying to avoid looking up and replied, "Ummm, well there's a small grassy patch I call home. It it also home to some pretty pink flowers." She conveniently left out the part where the flowers are her "friends" and when she's alone she speaks to them as if they were other kimeti and they all had names and such...but the buck didn't need to know any of that, right? Blossom simply chuckled quietly. She didn't have to lower her voice, as it was already a soft whisper to begin with.

"Oh! they are aren't they.." she said, as she peered down into the clear water. She smiled at the silver flashes of light in the stream. They nibbled at her legs and it tickled her to her bones. She shivered slightly and they backed away, only to forget and advance again. She chuckled again and looked up at the green buck. It was nice to feel comfortable with someone. Nice to have a friend to open up to. Would she be able to call for him, and he'd be there? She wanted that. Someone to be there for her.. perhaps she was expecting too much. And she chuckled again at the thought.

She chuckled again, and nodded in agreement. Words were unnecessary now, as she felt blissfully serene with him. True, she had barely just met the buck, but she already felt safe in his presence, and she leaned in to nibble at his neck. Blossom giggled, and pretended to be one of the silver fish in the stream, nibbling and tickling the buck. She closed her eyes and viewed herself as one of them. Then, opening her eyes, she gazed into Fish Bone's and smiled.

Blossom giggled, as his returned nips tickled her neck. It sent a shiver down her spine, although she was not cold. Instead, she felt oddly warm, even though sunset was upon them..Sunset. She loved to watch the rising and falling of the sun for some reason. And turning to face it, her eyes softened to gaze at it's orange beauty.

Looking back at Fish Bones, she nodded. She didn't like the darkness..but she wanted to stay and watch the sunset..Smiling shyly, she said, "I'd like to stay and watch the sunset if you don't mind...but would you be willing to take me back home?" She blushed at that; so daring was she to ask such a thing to a buck she barely met. Yet she felt safe with him. She felt connected to him..
