Here are a few SNES games I recommend, in order of difficulty (depends on how you play 'em though):
Semi-Easy - Donkey Kong Country - Yoshi's Island (sequel to Super Mario World, you should look it up) Medium - Donkey Kong Country 2 - Donkey Kong Country 3 - Super Turrican (mostly a shoot 'em up, but there is one level that keeps getting me) Hard - Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts - Knights of the Round
I don't play enough GBA games to recommend any but one: - Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga It's kind of easy and hard at the same time, but it's hilarious and a blast to play.

Ah yes, thank you for reminding me of that world *tries to hide bad memories* I disliked the very first level in that area, because it was so close to the save point yet so far... Stupid oil drums.

NES: Life Force, or Gradius -Both are FAMOUS shooters and are punishingly difficult. I have beaten Life Force, but I had to use the 30-live cheat and 1 continue. That's how hard it is. SNES: Super Bomberman - Probably one of the most unknown games on the SNES, Super Bomberman is remake of the earlier NES game of the same name. This is the game that first introduced Bomberman's classic multiplayer battle mode. GBA: Metroid: Zero Mission - I still think of this to be one of the best handheld games ever made. It's a remake of the original NES game, while still having plenty of new features to keep it interesting. The game is easy though, and it's a cakewalk for experts of the game. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About your poll on emulating games, I usually reccomend using emulators when there's no chance in hell you could obtain a certain system, (Arcade machines) when a game is in another language and you need a fan translation (Parodius on MSX), and when you could never get your hands on a game no matter how hard you'd try (Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake). I have emulators for the Japanese SNES, MSX, and Arcade games.
