Yes- 'sod off' is great!
Recently I find myself wanting to call things 'beastly'- too much CS Lewes and Enid Blyton I think.

I have much love for the expression "sod off"...though, only when not directed at me, of course. I find it hilarious. Same with "bollocks".

The very upper class sayings are definatly the best- though we shouldn't forget the bizarreness of Cockney rhyming slang- 'up the apples 'n' pears' and all that.

Hm, no mention of buggery yet.

You stupid bugger...stop buggering around...stop playing silly-buggers...Oh bloody buggering hell...well I'll be buggered!

I think that's most of them.

My Latin teacher always used to say "Stop fannying around" or "Stop pratting about"

Inappropriate, but amusing nonetheless.

I had a teacher who used to call us all stupid prats. Until she realised there was someone in the class whose second name was Pratt.

I don't understand a word of Cockney rhyming slang.

I think the point of cockney rhyming slang is that it's incomprehensible.. apparently dead=brown bread and stairs=pears.. or something x__x;;

Our latin teacher makes the most hilarious jokes xD

Stairs is 'apples and pears'. Don't ask me why I know that.
There was a two ronnies sketch which took the mick out of cockney rhyming slang and its 'little brown richard the third'. I wasn't even really listening to it, so....

What is your favourite stereotypically British saying?

Personally, I like "what ho!" or "crikey".

Your signature...I printed that picture on a full sized sheet of paper and my band teacher hung it in the classroom and people always ask him why. He explains that burning flesh smells terrible.
