Seeing Murder

We both just sat there holding on to each other. Tears came to my eyes, but I held them back. I did exactly what i did not want to do, make Kimmeron worried and upset. I was hurt and now i hurt her. Mad thoughts ran through my head like a speeding train. I was in peer shock, and highly frightened.

I decided to change the subject, even though it is highly impossible.
"Kimmeron, I found some of your old stuff from when we were younger. It's up in the attic. I though we should go treasure hunting!" I said happily changing the subject.
"Oh really! That sounds like a bunch of fun, let's go." She commented back.
We walked up the old rickety creaking stairs to the junk-filled attic. Thousands of memories shot at me like a bullet.
