There was no turning back now. She had committed to trying for better or worse, and all she could do now, within her personal strengths, was to hope to see a return on her efforts. She thought one last time on her parents and siblings for the time being. None of them would think to look for her, she and Lela had set out to find what the world had to offer though they had certainly not expected to find anything like this. Truth be told, had they simply been asked Taja would likely have agreed simply because she had a genuine urge to help people, and the role of caretaker was a natural one to her, or at least it was one that she hoped to one day have. Maybe that was why...

It was certainly better than she could have expected after some of the warnings she'd heard about the dangers of the rogue lands. And, well, if nothing else, if they ever -did- come away from this place, what an adventure Lela would have to tell!
Tajamala stood as well, feeling restless, and maybe again a bit flustered by his promising words. She wasn't the type that needed to be doted upon and looked after in every way, but she knew if only from the stories they'd heard from old Tai, if he was speaking truth, maybe she'd found the family she'd wanted in an unexpected package.
