i forget where i heard this but anyways i remember hearing that potions are a friendly word for wine and ethers are a friendly word for marijuana

You don't taste potions other characters during battle throw them to you and they break on your head sending the liquid over your body healing your wounds! and a pheonix down is like a feather I would think you'd probably Throw to the dead body and when it touched it its magical power would revive the dead body, or if you don't look at the characters as dead but just knocked out then maybe it just provides a big boost of stamina enough to get them back on there feet?
