Shorty Hitsugaya I have a few questions and some have already been answered. 5. So what kind of equipment can an academy student possess?6. I have noticed that with the Hidden Katana Vilage sheathes, that you are missing 1. I forgot the name of it, but it is similar to the leather sheath, but the blade is exposed and the sheath holds onto just the hilt of the sword. It is mainly used for larger swords.7. Can a member be part of a village but not a clan?
5. Everybody starts with a certain number of kunai, shuriken and windmill shuriken, but you can also start with senbon or any other 'standard' items you want. You are typically considered to somehow carry it all with you, though, so don't go crazy with it.
6. We have far from a complete list of possibilities there, though wiggle room is fine. If you want your leather sheath top instead be a frog, go for it. (I think that's what you meant?)
7. Depends on the village. Usually, if the village has a clan (or more than one) you have to be a member of one. If you absolutely don't want to be a member of a clan, either choose a village without one (there should still be one or two that count here) or ask if you can be a generic member of a certain village. I did the same with my swordswoman, and she's not any weaker than anyone else despite no clan techniques.

6. Do you by chance know that number?
7. Well it was just a suggesttion.
8. I haven't really desided on a village yet but the Village of the Katana seems the most promising so far or that of the Village of the Hidden Craftsmen.

6. The defaults are something like 10 kunai, 30 shuriken and 5 windmill shuriken. But if you want more or less, just include it in your profile. Too many might be hard to carry at a time, though. (And for ease of use, its generally considered that you replace any lost between each battle. Whether by going back and picking them up, or 'buying' new ones.)
7. It could potentially be added if needed. Otherwise just view the words a bit vaguely and interpret them as you need to make it work.
8. Either one of those have good options if you want to be a weapon-using character. Neither require access to any of the three branches of techniques, so you could still be a Genjutsu or Taijutsu specialist while using weapons. Beyond that, Katana means you would have a variety of swords with different abilities, while Carftsman would give you a few weapons and armor. In either case, you could still acquire one from the other village as a matter of course. (A Katana ninja can still learn/acquire one weapon/armor from Craftsman, and a Craftsman ninja can still craft a sword from Katana.)

6. Well i was thinking of using steel wire (about 15-20 feet long) on a retracing device that would connect to up to 5 items.
7. Well my character will not need it.
8. At the moment I have a made up sword and cloche that acts as armor.

6. That should be fine, just mention it in the Weapons section of your profile.
7. Ah, well no worries then.
8. Assuming their abilities get approved, that could work well in either clan. Or even something else completely, since you can visit Katana to make a sword, and visit Craftsman to gain one of their items, no matter who you are. You had mentioned medic-nin before, you could certainly make a Yakushi, then have them go to Katana to make your sword and cloche. (Admittedly, not sure how a silver dish cover would work as armor, but its your choice.)
