I think this bothers me more than it should because of the way she approaches things. If it was a slow transition into getting to know what we've been up to since we last saw each other, it probably wouldn't bother me that much. But instantly after her friend request being excepted, she's non-directly invited me to watch her play volleyball, trying to get my cell number, and directly asking what I've been up to.
It probably doesn't help that we're on two different intellectual levels. It makes it even harder to stay "civil" with her.
