More free eggs! Waking had gotten a real taste for them by now and looked forward to when he was allowed to re-stop by and have some more of them. Cracking them wasn't too tough now that he'd got the hang of it and though he wasn't exactly a masterful chef or a delicate or nimble creature he managed it with minimal shell and maximum edibility.

"Look how great I am!" he announced proudly to his sister, the flower from the previous booth triumphantly waving in his hair.

Leaning down he positively devoured the food and licked his lips before following up with grooming his chest fur - which had gotten completely covered in egg in the process. "I am the smartest."

Sleep grinned back at him from her similarly smashed egg and yolk-covered snout, getting the last sticky bits of protein from her fur.

"It matches you, Wake."

"How long did it take you to discover this?" asked Wild Green Stones, happily smashing his egg onto a stone. "Were there any big injuries?"

It was pretty clear he was only really interested in having that second question answered. He swallowed his messily cracked egg nearly whole as he waited.

"Ack! Phbbt!" The buck spit out the bits of eggshell he had inadvertently cooked.

Flower showed up again first thing in the morning. She had even dreamed about these eggs, these tasty tasty chicken eggs. She decided to try a new egg cracking technique this time, but it didn't go as well as she had hoped: some of the egg white slid off the banana leaf and made a mess all over the hot slab. She tried to clean it up by licking it and burned her tongue too. She left with a couple tokens but feeling like a loser. A loser with an awesome breakfast though.

Splash was back for another snack and without even the slightest bit of finesse cracked her egg and got shell all over the place but still seemed happy to gobble up what was there.

His egg cracking was better today! Cocoa was content, staring at the dripping egg---what a waste... Then he promptly put it in his mouth and was even more pleased than earlier. Delicious!

Hot Underfoot could definitely deal with the heat. She sized up the eggs carefully before picking one. Actually, she didn't know much about what would make an egg crack prettily, especially from a purely visual examination, but...well. It was nice to pretend you had some confidence.

That never guaranteed that you'd succeed, though. Her egg went everywhere - but she laughed it off. "Thanks for the token, anyway," she said.

Rob spun the egg with deft hooves. The eggs came in all colors, this one was brown with small specks.

When the shell came apart, she drunk the yolk directly.
