Getting cranky, Desya decided it was time to take a new perspective on the exercise. He began to look for small beauties, passed over treasures, or tiny delights. The first he noticed was the bark of a tree. It was a gnarled, knotted, snarly mess, but with the light slanting across it just right, and if he squinted, there was an image! There was a stump from an old branch snapped off years ago. It stuck out from a morass of folds and buckles in the bark, and ended up looking just like there was a feline face gazing into the distance, trapped inside the tree. He stared at it a moment, somewhat weirded out, but also astonished. Goodness, the things one's mind could come up with when one was bored!

Her deep patience had officially and finally worn thin. Sayen stood up, letting out a roar to all gathered. When she was sure everyone was paying attention, she looked around, ears back. "I think, it's time we picked the pace up... From this point on, anything you find, you keep... If the leopardess tries to snag a second gold token from you, then simply swat her back, or hide it from her." Maybe now things would finally go better!
exclaim The game is now changing!
But don't worry, this is hopefully for the BETTER. We'll simplify this! This time, roll a single 10-sided die! Depending on what you land on will depend on what you FIND!
1-2 - You've found a Purple Token!
3-4 - You've found a Brown Token!
5-6 - You've found a Copper Token!
7-8 - Congrats, you found a Gold Token!
9-10 - You've found the leopardess! If you don't have a gold token, though, she'll still run and hide again!

Annchen Prehaps she'd have better luck now? Vaina tried another tree, and to her great surprise she was suddenly face to face with another leopardess! But since she hadn't found any tokens yet the other feline quickly ran away. Rats! Vaina still smiled over her small success. She had found the leopardess! Perhaps she wasn't that bad at this after all.
The leopardess slid from the tree, a grin on her face. "Congratulations, you found me!" She flicked her tail in Vaina's face. "But you have no token!" She momentarily vanished into the bushes...
Excited Apathy If asked, Valli would insist it was not her other sight that had warned her, but the faint sound of running pawsteps. Either way, she had just enough warning to brace herself before a running form collided with her. Momentarily stunned, the green leopardess stumbled back a step or two, shaking her head before bringing it up with a smile, eyes glinting in amusement--like the gold token she'd found earlier.
And came face-to-face with Valli. "Oh! You've found me, too, Priestess! And you have a token!" Her face lit up with a grin. "Congratulations!" She gave a bow, before sitting down before the Priestess. "I am at your service, my lady!"
Sayen had, at some point, laid her head down, only to liftit up again, ears perking. They'd finally found her... Someone with a gold token had finally FOUND her! The Chieftess rose to her paws, padding over to Valli and the sneaky leopardess. "Congratulations are indeed in order!" She looked around to all gathered. "Our Priestess has proven herself, AND without having to use any objects of divination!" Green eyes turned to the green-striped leopardess, grin all but plastered to her face. This, to Sayen, was a good sign for the colony, though she knew time would tell how good a sign it was. "Thank you all for helping, I hope everybody had fun with our little hunt!" She grimaced. "For as long as it stretched on..." She'd have to remember to NOT let this happen again... It didn't make it less FUN while it wasn't stretching endlessly, though.
OOC Congratulations, Excited Apathy! You not only found a Gold Token(While we were on the prior rolling system, no less!), you also found the leopardess! biggrin She is yours! Ecavi is her colorist! Obviously, she's not been Seer rolled xd She WILL still need a JRP for the colony, and as mentioned, this one WILL NOT COUNT, as she was used NPC-style! As for everyone else, here are the token counts, per USER, with the final value of collected tokens!
