"Well Kon hasn't been planning to lead any more then D'lin has. But with him here the SIlverblades will protect you all. I know that."  

[Duchess Marie]

The group seemed pleased with this.

Kian realized he was getting along with this group. Perhaps he was thinking more on tactically helping them more at the start. He looked to Kia.

Kia smiled, happy that her brother was fitting in somewhere.

Kian looked back to the group not sure what to say next.  

[Duchess Marie]

"Too bad you are King Kon's brother or else he could marry off his daughter to you for your tactical knowledge."

Kian was not sure what to say to that. Just like Kolo he was not into the arrange marriage set-up for princes and princesses.

"I kind of like the idea of a female already picked for me. I do not have to court her so much and I would already know she would agree to the union."

"But it would not be love. Also I've heard the thrill is in the case."  

[Duchess Marie]

"Really? How many girls have you tried to run down," he snickered.

"I....never tried to get a girl yet."  

[Duchess Marie]

Another of the Shimmer guys spoke up, "well, Shimmer girls do not really run if you are worried about being out-paced." They all laughed.

Kian was silent. He was also blushing from the thought of getting a girl to court.
