Outskirts Of School Grounds

"It took me a while to fix up a picture like this." I said, gazing at my masterpiece. "I just finished editing this place yesterday, actually."

"Amazing..." I commented, "I don't understand why your father thinks you're no good. I think this creation of yours is... incredible."

My features darkened. "A manipulator can create anything, or change the terrain with the use of his mind." I sighed sadly. "I still need a camera."

"Denver, the weapon isn't everything. Sometimes, it's the warrior's skills that matter. Look..." I took out my bow, which was just a twig with a sturdy piece of string attached to it. "My bow looks like a piece of crap. But I was named the best archer in my elf tribe."

"Still, if I was a great manipulator, I wouldn't need this thing." I muttered, still feeling down.

Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

When I'm feeling sad

When I heard Kara sing, I slowly started to feel better. When she finished, I said, "Wow, I really love your voice."

I giggle. "Thanks. I don't really sing for anyone... but I trust you. So, I wouldn't really mind singing for you." I say to Denver.

I blushed. "Really? Aww, that's really nice of you. It's nice to know that someone's there to comfort me. I don't sing because my voice is horrible!"

"Come on, it can't be that bad." I say, coaxing him to sing.  

[iDenver23]

"Trust me. It IS that bad." I said to her, "So, why don't you go back to your elf tribe?" I asked her, curious. "Or if ya don't wanna tell me, I'm okay with that."

"Simply because I know that they won't accept me anymore. I'm unclean. My tribe is very strict when it comes to interaction with the outside world. Especially... when an elf has 'that' kind of interaction with a human..." I shudder, burying my face in my hands.

"Well, isn't that a bit, I dunno, harsh?" I asked.

"Yes, of course, it is. But, I am an elf, and I swore to follow all the rules of my elf tribe. I can't break that promise..."

"I don't plan on going back to my father. I plan to get outta here when I'm old enough. So I can search for my mother." I said, shrugging. "Everyone says she's dead. But I don't believe them, I'll search the whole world, I just wanna see her again."
