Yoru smiled. "I appreciate your concern for me. You already have something that connects you to me. This collar I have is my direct like to you. You are able to communicate with me as well as track me down if you truly wanted to."

Nathan frowned, considering. "I've never tried to use the collar that way before... would it work if we tried it now?"  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"Of course. It's all a matter of concentrating and being able to use telepathy."  

[theasama]

"Ok... can you think something at me and see if I hear it?" Nathan asked, confused by how it all worked.  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"Is this fine for you?" Yoru stood still to show Nathan that there really wasn't much to it. It was all a matter of concentration.  

[theasama]

"Is that... you?" Nathan wasn't concentrating properly, so he wasn't sure that this worked from his side.  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"You asked me to speak to you telepathically and so I am doing so. Yes. It most certainly is me."  

[theasama]

Nathan smiled, then forced himself to concentrate. "It works... it works!! Uh... you can't just read my mind when I dont want you to, right? And the same for me...?  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"Mind reading I can do but never if you do not want me to. As for you... If you have that ability then you can. I am not very much familiar with the extent of your power."  

[theasama]

"I've never tried to, and I hopeI never intrude upon your privacy like that..."
The Angel frowned. "Why do I get the feeling I will probably do that at some point in the near future?"

He didn't realise he'd switched to a different form of speech, though he did intend Yoru to hear him.  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"I would never have anything to hide from you." Yoru replied. "Are you clear on how this works?"  

[theasama]

"Sure you will, someday. You have opinions, right? Even if you don't - can't? - share them with me, you have them.

Not entirely sure... maybe if I switch rooms, or you head home with some of my things? Then I can know about distance."  

[ShadowAngel_Nova]

"I will leave if you want but there is not much of a difference."  

[theasama]

Nathan instinctively pecked Yoru's cheek, smiling self-consciously.
"Yoru... I trust you, with the logical part of me, when you say it's the same. But I'm still so worried about how all of this will turn out... I can be the one to go to a different room or flat if you prefer, but I'll feel a lot better having proven to myself that my fear is groundless..."

He sighed and looked away. "I know it makes no sense, and I'm sorry for that."
