Rice Paper Moon
A small business named after himself and his siblings, Rice Paper Moon is run mainly via website and postal order and the business resides exclusively in his one room apartment. The mail phony and UPS drivers all know the flutter on a first name basis from the amount of packages he both sends and receives and often stop for tea and a small chat before going back to their deliveries.
Paper Lantern sells all manner of paper art inspired by whatever happened to drift across his mind that day. Lanterns are, of course, his specialty, but he also delves into paper mache and origami. A quick glance at his website displays that most of his art are one of a kind pieces that sell fairly quickly. Lanterns, mache dragons, origami anime characters, small origami instructional packets with paper and directions to make popular flowers or animals and other things. Paper also makes items for sacred and important practices like joss paper items for offerings, New Years lanterns, and Obon. His brother Mooncake made sure the lore and history of these customs is accurate.
He does take the occasional custom order. His most popular customs are the comic book hero mosaics he creates out of the actual comic books that the character appears in.

Hooffield Crossing
With the steady growing population of Phony, including a boom of single phony transitioning from their parents home into their own lives, a large apartment complex was constructed for new adults to live in while they found more permanent living situations.
Paper lives in a single room apartment on the third floor ( 308 ) of the building with a small kitchenette, closet, and bathroom. Because he both lives in the room as well as it being headquarters for his online business, it is often very messy and cluttered. To maximize floor space, a feather mattress is suspended from the ceiling among all the lanterns waiting to be purchased from his website.
The floor is often littered with scraps, pieces, cuttings, and slips of paper from whatever projects he has been working on. Various orders are often sitting around in different stages of completion like a box slowly being filled with tiny origami cranes or a large mosaic of Wonder Woman hung on the wall while another coat of glue dries. Despite the clutter, his room is carefully organized and even has a small part of it set up with a low table and a couple of soft chairs near the window to entertain company.
