[ORP:FIN] The Great Water Balloon War [closed]

Haevan smiled a bit waving in turn to the kuppy. "Oi, how are ye?" He looked sheepish, it had been in fun. Perhaps he could have chose a different target given Eli was likely preoccupied...but then again it was all fair in love and war after all. Shaking his read rather bemused the wolf gathered up a few more balloons and moved for his roof top position, a thoughtful look in his eyes as he settled on Seth as his next possible target. "Incomin'" he tossed in the cat's general direction.

Okay, like he'd known what his best friend was up to. Seriously..it had been all in fun really. Plopping his chin in his palm he watched the scenario realizing a little late given Seth's expression he wasn't to pleased. Hopefully the lobbed water balloon would cool the other off? Or at least bring about round 2.

Ack! Another balloon was coming his way, but the cheetah Hyte was quick to dodge to the side. "You're on," he told the wolf with a devious grin, picking up his next balloon. New target now. Or at least an additional one.

"Eh, I'm all right," he said to Haevan with a shrug, eyeing his possible targets. Perhaps it was the better idea to let Haevan and Seth continue this on their own...and hey! He could kill two birds with one stone, he mused, turning a balloon over in his hands briefly before tossing it at Dacj.

She squealed and threw out a tentacle to protect herself, a hook popping the balloon prematurely, so the result was a mere splash. "Don't play with the kraken, Eli, or you won't like it," she said with a grin.

Seth had to laugh at Eli's assessment on the party. "You can't really know that," he told the kuppy simply, if only to make him more paranoid of future plottings. He threw his current balloon Haevan's way, hoping for the best.

The aim was true, but there was always a chance the other might dodge.

Haevan nodded thoughtfully in response to Eli's response. "Aye, 'ah imagine." he moved as if to throw something, but noted the incoming projectile. Ducking down he made a face at the other, smile turning impish. "'ello Seth." he arched a brow at the Cheetah hyte.

Gently tossing one of several balloon's he'd brought with he tossed another one Seth's way in hopes of scoring a decent hit. Of course, while the throw was well placed, the question of Seth's prowess remained to be seen.

Well, at least his previous throw had splashed the wolf. In the meantime though he had to duck out of the way of another incoming balloon. His jeans may have been waterlogged, but he was still able to move pretty quickly.

"Not playing, testing," Eli corrected. "No problems, right?"

She glanced around, eyes flickering between Haevan and Sorcha before settling back on the kuppy. She really didn't want the whole world to know about something that was supposed to be sealed. "None at all," she said breezily.

"That's encouraging--mostly because it means I've got the advantage," he said with a grin, throwing another balloon her way.

Ugh, advantage was one way to put it, the kraken thought darkly as she was hit in the shoulder. "Don't make me use my advantages...I can throw a lot more than one balloon!"

While Eli was distracted with aiming for his sister, elf threw in her own balloon at the kuppy. Might as well, right? Hopefully he wouldn't notice the balloon flying straight for his back.

And Eli was so busy being smug at his little sister, he in fact did not notice elf's balloon in time, and winced at the explosion of water on the back of his t-shirt. "Hey!" he said, turning around to face the culprit...and finding elf. "Er. Hello, Miss Elf," he said awkwardly. And she was usually so nice to him too!

"So, what took you so long in getting back?" Seth asked conversationally as he threw another water balloon the wolf's way. It'd likely miss, but oh well.

Haevan shook himself as the water hit. Musing on his various choices of targets he eyed the female kraken thoughtfully before flinging a balloon in her direction. Granted he wasn't sure what Dacj and Eli were referring to...the wolf had a strange suspicion he didn't want to know.


Of course when one is attempting to throw something, paying attention might be wise. Instead of throwing, the wolf hyte instead accidently squeezed to hard the balloon exploding in his face. Laughter erupted soon after, throughly amused at his failed attempt.

Haevan poked his tongue out at the cat as he moved to try and avoid the lobbed balloon. " ah couldn't find may shorts." he admited sheepishly. No chance to move, the balloon lightly splashed him.

He'd get him back soon enough.

Dacj chuckled at Haevan's miss. "Was that meant for me?" She danced back to the balloons at picked up a few--though she was planning to throw them once at a time. Still, anyone paying attention might squirm to see her carrying several balloons.

She stuck her tongue out at Eli, before glancing between Haevan and Seth. Which to try...help Seth, or gang up on him? Well, she'd already 'betrayed' him once (or maybe twice) today, might as well earn a bit of goodwill back. So it was Haevan that was her target, as she launched the first of her supply.

She giggled at Eli's politeness. "No need to call me 'Miss', Eli," elf said cheerfully. "This is a battle. We go all out here, kay?" Yes, she rather favored the kuppy, but all the more reason to target him, right?

Seth had to laugh at that. "Nice. I should have thought to wear shorts myself," he admitted, grabbing up another water balloon to throw. "Catch!" Only he didn't actually throw the balloon at Haevan as it looked liek he was going to, but instead turned last second to throw it at Dacj. they were teammates, sure, but she had soaked him earlier on.

And yet his aim was still horrible when it came to the kraken. "You know, I think you stole your mother's force field," he said with a laugh, joking of course.
