Has Disney/Universal Studios ever been severly damaged by Hurricanes? I made a joke with my friend the other day over the internet and phone about Orlando being protected under the Magical Disney Barrier, since I have never heard of Disney being severly damaged by hurricanes. It's Mostly us in South Flodira who seem to get severly pwned by hurricanes/tropical storms >.< ....at least from what I've heard of surprised

Actually Disney chose that spot due to the probability of taking a hit being so minimal. it HAS been hit but not severely damaged to my knowledge.

Still it's odd that the spot they chose takes minimal hits. When a hurricane hits Miami I'll go hide out in the Magic Kingdom Castle surprised

lol! yeah, i dont remember hearing about them getting seriously hit. there must be rules reguarding weather like the "no one dies on Disney property" thing. "no hurricanes, tornados, hail, lightening, snow, or tidal waves on Disney property" 3nodding
