Datto would not join your party or help you to the village cause he an Tidus were never friends. Also the policy of "DO our best would stand forevermore"

if yuna had used tidus as a sacrifice in stead of fighting yunalesca then vengagun would not blow up spira because the only reason that shuyin started acting up after 1000 years of being dead is because yuna had activated the songstress dressphere which in turn made shuyin wake up and try to destroy spira so he can save leene and yuna wouldn't have used the dressphere becasue she wouldn't have been alive cause she would die fighting sin as well so thats what would have happened i mean if ur going to answer at least play the games idiots

actually i believe if it wasn't for the incident at den of woe, Shuyin would probaby have been stuck there and unable to get hold of vegnagun. However once he was out, yuna's dressphere gave him a nudge in the right direction
