Faden Quartz are crystals that have a clearly visible, milky, feather line, that usually runs through the crystal. This &string& or &thread& that is perpendicular to the growth of the crystal is unique to Fadens. Faden lines manifest primarily in tabby shaped crystals, but have on extremely rare occasions been found in a normal single point crystal. It is believed that the line represents the seed point of growth and they have the ability to activate or start new growth within one's self or within someone you are working with, utilising healing energy. Herkimer Diamonds are formed like embryos, growing in rock cavities often filled with water. They do not grow up from a base like regular quartz, but usually bear the 'umbilical' mark of the larger rock they hung on to. They are usually glassy clear, sometimes with rainbows and inclusions of other minerals. Laser Wand Quartz is recognised as a long slender crystal with small faces compromising the termination. The crystal tapers inversely from the base to the termination. The angles of the sides of the crystals are curved, in many instances, rather than straight. It is said that all &wand& crystals were developed on Earth by other planetary beings; they are said to have developed not by growth, but via thought projection. These crystals have an intimate relationship with both inner and outer space.

The use of laser wands during meditation facilitates the establishment of a finer communication with the other worlds, the crystalline world, and the inner world of the self. These crystals radiate a loving energy and have been recognised as a constant source of brilliant white light. When one holds a laser wand, the energy tends to surround the body, providing for a protective barrier.
The laser wands often have unique etchings and/or markings on them. They were once used in the healing temples of Lemuria. The markings indicating the records of experiences &they have seen&. They contain information with respect to the healing methodology, which has been proven successful over eons of time and throughout the universe. They have been accessed during the meditative state and have provided information concerning techniques utilised in Lemuria and on other planets.
The energy of the laser wand crystal is extremely well focused via the small termination. It can be used to clear an area of negativity, to create protective barriers, and to beam healing energy to the self or another. This can be accomplished by holding the laser wand in the hand of preference and directing the energy to flow immediately to the target; when producing protective barriers, allow the energy to flow around the subject or object such that the auric field is not damaged.
Protecting the self with the laser energy field can be accomplished in a similar manner, by directing the energy to surround the physical body; it can also be accomplished by wearing or carrying the laser wand. It has also been used to facilitate shamanic healing via the process of removing [by extraction] the unwanted condition from the physical form.

Lemurian Seed Crystals are only mined in Brazil. These naturally formed generators were found separately in sand and were not attached to clusters. Some carry a pink glow.
These unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny they appear to have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic in a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal.
It was during the last days of Lemuria that these crystals were planted within the Earth with their specialised purpose. These &seed& crystals were not programmed with specific information but rather were placed in the earth where crystalline growth was expected to form over the coming millennia. These crystals were programmed to transmit frequencies to other
crystals being created throughout time. A big part of what they transmit is the sense of oneness, unity, of every individual part being equal and no better than any other part, and the necessary for love in order to evolve.


Magnetite is a natural magnet. Draws out toxins and wastes from the body when put in drinking water. Very useful to alleviate illness and physical imbalance. Restores balance within the other bodies. Due to its strong electromagnetic qualities it restores balance in the energy systems. Stabilising, strengthening and revitalising the life force energy, it increases resistance to stress and disease.

--Crystal Scrying--

You can use a crystal for scrying: I’m guessing this is where the term crystal ball comes from. Obsidian is apparently the best: however, hematite’s smooth surface would also be ideal. If you don’t have either of these, don’t panic. Just pick out of your own collection whichever feels right. ^_^

Firstly, don’t force anything to come. If you are nervous or in anticipation it won’t work: you need to be relaxed. Secondly, don’t be disappointed if nothing turns up. Just try again. Scrying is a fickle thing, and I highly recommend being able to meditate before attempting.

Ok.. To get started, make sure you won’t be disturbed. Try and get the room quiet and dark: light equals reflections, and if a reflection appears on your crystal then chances are you will be mislead or distracted. Candle light is probably the best.

Hold the crystal with your finger and thumb, or place it on a stand: just make sure it has a blue or black cloth underneath it to deal with pesky reflections.

Incense is not required, but it can help to get you in the mind set.

Clear your mind from any thoughts. Relax. Be comfortable. Gaze intently into the crystal: scrutinise it. Focus on your breathing: it should be regular and slow. If tears come to your eyes: just try and relax them and close them halfway.

Now you’re set up: it becomes the perfect time to link the crystal to your third eye: imagine light flowing from the middle of your forehead into the crystal. Actually: now I think about it, it would probably be advisable to open up your third eye beforehand as well as connecting it to the crystal.. sweatdrop To do this, gaze into the candle you have lit. Fix it’s imagine in your mind, let it tabulate itself into your mind. Close your eyes, and shift it into where your middle eye is located (smack bang in the centre of your forehead.)

Now you’re connected to the crystal, and your third eye open you should start to see a clouding of the crystal. It should be coming from a small light where you poured your third eye energy into: this is where the vision will commence.

The clouds will then develop. Eventually, the will clear until you begin to see pictures and precise patterns. More likely than not, it will appear as a crude sketch and occasionally a clear photograph type thing.

Once this happens, the images may not be on the scrying surface. They may form in your mind. Allow your attention to focus on these mental images: don’t be distracted by the scrying surface. It’s irrelevant from now on.

As the images develop, you will find you know things about the picture. Pay attention to this: it’s useful background information. Don’t try and interpret them immediately: the crystal will show you a path of which you’re meant to follow about them.

Just remember: try and stay relaxed. Don’t let your imagination run wild either: it’s the crystals imagination that should be doing that! 3nodding

To record what you’ve seen, I recommend getting some kind of tape recorder set up: writing can be tedious and really slow sometimes.

--Choosing Crystals--

What the!? You’re telling me how to choose something? Excuse me, but I already know how to do that for myself thank you very much.

Well, be that as it may I’m still going to do it. It can be quite overwhelming what with the large selection of magic rocks we have now: but if you choose not to read this then it’s fine with me.

Crystals, in a way choose you. Each crystal will end up with you for a reason.

Anywho: if you are choosing a crystal for a specific reason, then just focus on that reason and let your intuition guide you.

To start with, a crystal may just grab your attention. It will look right, and just has that extra something. If you can’t work out what it is: then I recommend getting home and meditating with it to try and find out why. If you don’t get a response straight away: don’t panic! All will be revealed in time. It may not even be for you: if you’re a healer, it could be for a person that comes your way.

Occasionally, you may be lucky enough to hear a crystal: for instance, some clumsy person in the shop knocks a bowl over. If it sounds right, go ahead and take it!

If none of these work for you, or crop up then my advice is to relax. Stretch out your palm and hover it over the various bowls of crystals if you’re in a crystal shop. You may feel a slight tingle, or heat over your hand when you get to the right one. If so, pick it up and try it!

--Crystal Cleansing--

Crystal cleansing is incredibly important. If you don’t: they will soak up too much negative energy and potentially break. ninja

Make sure you cleanse your crystal after you've bought it: it's come to you to start afresh, so give it that oppurtunity and get rid of it's history. ^_^

The most common method is to leave it outside on the earth for a day and a night. Make sure that the moon and sun get to it.

Another way, is to run it under water. This could be water from a tap, in the ocean, or in a stream.

--Crystal Programming--

This is my preferred way to program my crystals: you can do it at the same time as cleansing them. If anyone wants to submit there way, please feel free to post it here. ^_^

This is basically a little bonus too add to your cleansing of your rock. It will tell the wittle thing (ain't it cute!?) what to do, and welcome it into your world.

Go outside to a place where you can see the moon. Bring some incense, salt, stones, your crystal, candle and (optional) things to represent the elements. A yin yang symbol is useful to balance the forces.

Scatter some salt on the ground to purify the area. Ground and centre. (connect to the forces in the world) and cast your circle. Place the symbols of the elements (if you bought them) around the circle in their directions.

Place your candle (surrounded by some stones to keep it up-right and things not catch fire.. sweatdrop ) and light it.

Welcome the elements, or whatever you use to witness your castings.

(e.g. Lords and ladies, I call you here today to witness my crystal . I beg of you to aid me in my task.)

Holding your crystal, familiarise yourself with it.

Welcome to my abode,
on ye I must implode.

I beg to you, my magic rock,
To have these wishes my way flock.




Shine tiny stone,

Light your incense.

Scent of I bid you to remind of us of our task.
This is all I ask.

Draw a pentacle in the air with your incense, and place it in the ground making sure no grass can blow into it and be set alight (yes, even if you're a fire element...).

Finally:

Three times three times three,
so mote it be.

Bow to the goddess of the moon, and take a few breaths for yourself. Place your rock on the ground a circle of it's kin (either some ordinary stones, or your other cleansed crystals) in front of the candle. Preferbly have a yin-yang symbol next to it: or ideally, have a yin yang candle holder.. Let down your circle. Leave it lying there for a day and night.

Be very careful with Selentite! Make sure it doesn't get rained on: it will dissolve!

I like to keep my red jasper on me... I feel quite a connection with it (I recently discovered it was fire not earth though, which is wierd)... It's comforting to have it with me and to rub it - even though places list it's abilities as being to do with healing and nothing more, I get alot from it.

I tend to always carry about my hematite, and well, that's a fire one. I've always been a pyromaniac, and recently have been really good at poking our fire into life. Meh, I dunno. 'sides, this is off topic!
