The thread title is result of the incredible queasiness I feel when I think of making a long drive by myself tomorrow. It's my first time without following my roommate--I'm pathetic like that. sweatdrop stressed I'm so nervous. crying I printed directions from Yahoo and Google. I will not use Mapquest, as they've failed my roommate and me many times.

Woot trip, getting lost is fine with me

All three have failed me, they couldn't tell me how to get to my house...they said it didn't exist

One time when I went to California to visit my cousins, my sister and I rode in the car with my cousin, and we were heading towards a restaurant, and the funny thing was that she missed the exit 3 times xd It must not be fun for the driver, but it was kinda entertaining

I didn't think missing an exit was fun, and I was driving. We were on the Interstate. It took us a while just to turn around!

I have a good homing instinct though. I always find my way.
Do you have a phone in case you do get lost?
Even if you haven't done it yourself before, if you've gone that route before you'll probably recognize things and be fine. 3nodding

Once I hit this one city, though, traffic gets hectic, and I've gotten lost there 'cause the signs for exits were confusing. sweatdrop And I'm not sure which one to take. ohmigahd.
