Monster High Doomitories - Spring Scaremester

For the students who are transferring to Monster High a long distance from their families, the school has doomatories set up to grant you a comfortable unliving space while you are attending classes.

The Doomitory is split into two halves - a Boo's half and a Ghoul's half. Students are assigned 3 bodies to a room. If you have special circumstances, the Creature Faculty may consider a different housing stituation for you. Please speak to either Resident Assistant.

Frights out at 10 pm, except for nocturnal students attending night classes. We trust there will be no creeping around at all hours...

Sunday.

The day before Spring Scaremester at Monster High begins.

There was a massive rush of monsters streaming in and out of the doomitories. Parent monsters helped student monsters move in clothes, furniture and pets as students prepared to return to school. Tomorrow, all thoughts would be on classes. Today, though, was a day of moving in and becoming acquainted with new doommates.

Peggy Springwell

Marianna hoisted up her large bag on the one of the large beds, she was happy she and her room mate got such a large room. It would have made her feel claustrophobic, after all she was for more used to the vast ocean as her home.

*Kock Knock* Her dad came in with three other bags, two in his fins and a third in his strong teeth.

"Thanks Daddy! You can just put them anywhere."

"Anytime Angelfish, and I'm really glad you're happy here at Monster High. I feel this will be a prefect fit for you." Mr. Dave "The Leviathan" Bootista smiled his shark-thoothed smile and kissed her fore-head. "Enjoy the day off, because, once school starts, no more slipping grades. I was straight A's." Then he left the room to retreive her mini fridge and a small Telly.

confused "Eh-Heh... Yeah... Sure Dad..." She rubs the back of her head, imagining her grades sinking to the bottom of the ocean...

"I sure hope, my roommate appears out of the abyss. I could use a pick me up. Uughhh. sweatdrop " She said to herself while putting away all her clothes, most of which she made herself.

The door bursts open and Vanissha shouts:

"HEY ROOMIE!! Is this awesome or what!? Where roomamtes!!"

Vanissha had already moved in hall her clothes, make-up, stuffed animals and Quicksilver's puppy bowl and pad. Her side of the room, walls were covered with twihard and the Jaundice brother's poster's as well as a picture fame of her family, the image was very old and you could SEE Vanissha was a small child in it.

"This is really going to help strengthen the band now that we are back together and stuff... Still not sure about that Jedzia ghoul though... OH WELL!" She shurggs.

"Once you're done unpacking we should hit the maul!! I heard there's a death sale on back to school clothes! Maybe after we could hit the Creepy Cafe form drinks and then the Die-ner for lunch break." Clearly Vanissha thought her new room mate and she would now me beast friends, since Last Scaremester her other roommates disappeared for some reason...

Rory checked his watch. Standing in the foyer of the Doomitories, he wanted to be on time for his....appointment? With Peggy Springwell.

He knew that gossip during the winter break had made people think that the two of them were dating...maybe even a couple, but that wasn't what was actually going on. Actually....

Peggy was training him. To be her sidekick! It was very hexciting and absolutely something nomonster would ever believe Rory Bludworth was capable of doing.

Rory's watch read 95:1...one minute till 2. Exactly on time.

"Hey Rory!" A quiet voice behind him whispered from the shadows. It was his friend, fellow Disappearing Club member Twyla Boogeyman. He gave her a shy wave. "I didn't think you were staying in the dooms this scaremester."

"Oh, I'm not. I'm just here for-" Twyla gasped and smiled at him.

"Oohh, I bet I know. For Peggy Springwell, right?"

"Er....yeah." He flushed a little bit, his cracked cheek getting red. "But it's not what you think."

"If you say so." Twyla shrugged. She wasn't the type to pry into another monster's business. Rory was sure she had more than enough temptation to pry when she traveled in the nightmare realm, her home dimension. It wasn't too different than the temptation he had living in the mirror realm to peek in at other monsters from their mirrors. One had to be mindful of other monster's privacy.

And so, Twyla wished him the best and slipped back into the shadows to continue on her own scary way. Rory arrived in front of the door that led to Peggy's new doomitory. It was 00:2 pm exactly, according to his watch. He knocked.

She'd almost finished unpacking the very last item, when she heard the knock.

"Peggy?? Is that you? Did you loose your key?" She asked while swiftly opening the door!

"OH! Uh! Hi! Umm You're not Peggy... Right?" For all she knew Peggy could have been a shape-shifter. But she still felt silly asking. sweatdrop

"Uh...no...?" Rory found himself looking at a tall, scaled ghoul who was at least as much not-Peggy as he himself was. It dawned on him - her doommate! Of course she had a doommate in her new doomitory! She wasn't dooming with Falconnie and Marceline anymore. Thankfully. This new ghoul was sure to be less hawkward to be around than his own ex-ghoulfriend. Rory decided to grimtroduce himself. "I'm her, uh, her friend. Rory Bludworth."

Rory tucked his backpack behind him. In it were the items Peggy had told him to find for their get-together today. She had no idea how hard it was for him to find an air-pressure powered grappling hook! But most of all, the thing Peggy had impressed on him was how important it was to keep these things a SECRET. Even, he presumed, from her own doommate.

"Peggy and I were going to, uh, fang out. She told me to be here at 2pm hexactly, but I thought she would be here..."  

[Marianna Trench]

"It's Nice to meat you, Rorry. My name is Marianna. And I'm new here. Like - to Monster High - and... *Coughs* I mean I'm Peggy's roommate. Duh!" Obviously she was her room mate, she just was tripping head over fin from her words.

"What i mean is... I havn't see nehr either. I'm sure she's doing something important, but I'd really like to meet her ...Y'know before school starts."

She snaps her fingers as an idea swam into her head.

"Why Don't you and I search together? I don't know what she looks like and you could give me a tour of the Campus!" She smiles hopefully.

Cries of anguish echoed through the halls because Harry was assigned a new doommate or two. Goblins were dragging the young prince away from his old room and towards his new one.

"NOOOOOOOOOO! DAAAAAAAASHNER WAS TEACHING ME TO USE THE iPOCKET MACHINE! DAAAAAAASHNER.....HOW DO I MACHINEFACETIMEBOOKSPACE YOU!?"

Sometimes, Harry did handle change well.

"Why Don't you and I search together? I don't know what she looks like and you could give me a tour of the Campus!" She smiles hopefully.

Maybe this was part of the training. Maybe Peggy was hiding somewhere on campus, and it was up to Rory to find her while escorting this civilian around. That sounded like the sort of training exercize Peggy would come up with. So far she had taught him about blending in with the shadows (he was extremely good at disappearing), leaping from building top to building top (which he was extremely BAD at doing) and about giving heroic speeches to villains. Putting a civilian into the next challenge sounded about right.

So, Rory nodded at Marianna.

"That sounds like a good idea. Let's go!" The two of them headed out the door and down the stairs of the main foyer in the Doomitory. In the distance, Rory heard a wail of abject despair, something about machinefacetimesomething or other. Was that part of the challenge? Was that a monster in distress that he should seek out?

Best not to take any chances.

"Er, this way is the boo's doomitory. Let's take a look through there, shall we? Maybe we'll find some victims-er, some other mansters to introduce you to."  

[Marianna Trench]

"Thaks, Rory. This is really going to help me for when my classes start." She didn't want to admit out loud that making friends was difficult. Some monster take one look at her and her teeth and swim away as fast as they could!

"Rory... " Marianna had a unghoul-scary thought swim across her mind... "Just because We hasn't seen her doesn't mean she hasn't seen us... Do you think she could be... Hiding? From.. me?" Her tail droops down slightly. her room mate could be avoiding them.

"Just because We hasn't seen her doesn't mean she hasn't seen us... Do you think she could be... Hiding? From.. me?"

"Absolutely!" Rory nodded, thinking about how Power Pegasus was probably using her formidible lurking powers to remain hidden until Rory was alone and the superheroing lessons could begin

Then, he realized how that sounded out loud.

"Er, I mean, no! That's not why she's not...I mean, she isn't probably...I mean, oh look over here!"

Harry Herne was being dragged down the hallway by some of his goblin associates. That was as good a distraction as any!

"Maybe we should...help him?"

"Huh?" Her tail droops even lower. Did He just say--? Then she heard Harry's name, and looked up.

"Of course! No one like a bully!" And just like that she swam to the wrong conclusion and her temper flares like a volcano in the deepest depths of the ocean! Her temper was one of many flaws she shared with other Leviathan.

She charges at Harry, unstoppable, and unknowing that the gremlins are his friends. She lifts Harry in the air with a fireman's carry on her shoulders, and shouts at the goblins.

"You STOP bullying him RIGHT NOW! No one like to get shoved around!"

Peggy's voice carried through the hall as well as a distinctive CLOP CLOP sound. You know......like coconut halves being bonked together in Monty Python, except these were um.. actual hoof sounds and not coconuts

"DAAAAaaaaaddddd. I'm not your baby ghoul anymore. You don't have to walk me to my room. You're going to embarrass me in front of the..... Oh,,.. um... hey"

Peggy flushed slightly as she approached the group of students as her father nudged her forward and then fussed over her.

"hey ghouls and boos"

"Huh?" Her tail droops even lower. Did He just say--? Then she heard Harry's name, and looked up.

"Of course! No one like a bully!" And just like that she swam to the wrong conclusion and her temper flares like a volcano in the deepest depths of the ocean! Her temper was one of many flaws she shared with other Leviathan.

She charges at Harry, unstoppable, and unknowing that the gremlins are his friends. She lifts Harry in the air with a fireman's carry on her shoulders, and shouts at the goblins.

"Whaa??? No, no, no...peace and love, PEACE AND LOVE!"

Harry tried shouting over tumult below him but it was no use. Goblins were screeching 'Unhand claw the Young Master!" and began to swarm Marianna. First it was just the goblins who had been moving Harry to his new room but soon goblins dressed black suits and sunglasses began to appear and jumped into the fray. Could Marianna stay on her feet under such an assault?
