[FIN] [ORP-Solo] Wood Gathering Adventure

Spark of Life dodged between the trees, voraciously looking for sticks among the muck and mud. The party must go on at the bonfire! She dodged through the wilderness, careful to not disturb the comfortable wildlife that lived there, and searched for perfect specimens that would catch fire.

Point Log: = 12
1 ) • 3 - A small log. You can easily carry it by balancing it on your back, if you go slowly. +2 points
2 ) • 6 - A great leafy branch! You can carry it in your teeth. +4 points
3 ) • 1 - Small twigs and items that will be good for spreading and lighting fire. +1 point
4 ) • 1 - Small twigs and items that will be good for spreading and lighting fire. +1 point
5 ) • 2 - Oh no! Wet wood! You can't bring this back.
6 ) • 1 - Small twigs and items that will be good for spreading and lighting fire. +1 point
7 ) • 5 - Oh no! You step into a big puddle on your way back and lose your wood. -1 point
8 ) • 6 - A great leafy branch! You can carry it in your teeth. +4 points

OOC: Each day of the Festival of Plenty event, you can start a thread in the RP section of the guild to do one of the three Bonfire Adventures below. These are mixed RP and dice prompts that you can do alone or in a group with other people, the choice is yours!

Each adventure that you complete will give you a ticket toward the bonfire Zikwa and salamanders above!
You can do these adventures multiple times for more raffle tickets, but you can only start one adventure per day.
These count as Legendary reqs, but you can only use each of the adventures below once for Legendary reqs, making a possible 3 reqs total.

Your kin decides to help venture out into the swamplands in search of relatively dry wood that they can bring back to keep the bonfire burning hot and strong -- a blaze that can keep the party going for days.

To head out on this adventure:
Roll 1d6, and roleplay out your kin finding the item that corresponds to your roll:
1 - Small twigs and items that will be good for spreading and lighting fire. +1 point
2 - Oh no! Wet wood! You can't bring this back.
3 - A small log. You can easily carry it by balancing it on your back, if you go slowly. +2 points
4 - A large log. It is too big to carry back! If you're doing this quest alone, you must abandon it. If you're with someone else, +4 points each!
5 - Oh no! You step into a big puddle on your way back and lose your wood. -1 point
6 - A great leafy branch! You can carry it in your teeth. +4 points

Continue rolling and replying until you have a total of 10 points!
Once you have acquired 10 points, please post a link to this adventure in the bonfire guild thread to collect 1 raffle ticket.

Spark of Life continues to sift through the mud and muck, quietly humming to herself as she goes, and saying hello to all the little beetles and moths that happen to float by her nose.

Spark cheerily skips away with some more things to burn in a small pile she's begun to build by a tree. Today seems successful so far in her efforts, and she hopes to be done by evening before the sun sets.

While quietly tiptoeing past a sleeping badger's lair, Spark finds a few more sticks to carry back to her small pile by the tree; but she can't carry too much or the snapping and noise will wake him up. And that's a bad thing. Quite.

Being the clutz that Spark can occasionally be, she trips next to a riverbank and drops the stick she'd just picked up into the water. Soaking wet wood won't work, she curses herself, and rises back up to her feet, dripping and bitter.

Spark sneaks past a foxbun hole to do the same; rob them of their useless twigs and small sticks near their den. She snags a few and then wiggles her way back to where she came by her tree, tired and still icky wet.

As if on que, Spark slips into the next puddle she sees from her already wet slick hooves, and collapses again, getting what little she'd collected that round soaked a second time. She sits in the water and pouts as a frog sits croaking on her nose.

Luckily for Spark, she finds a nice stash this next go around, and puts all her sticks on a leaf to bundle in her mouth and carry back to the party. There was now some nice firewood for everyone! And she would have to sit by it a little while to at least dry off. She shook herself dry, floofed out, and proudly cantered back into the fray.
