      [+] Kursha Vidari

As Kursha continued down the passageway, he knew that his body would not last for much longer. His vision was dark, his legs were shaking, and it seemed like there was more blood on the floor than there was inside him. His pain receptors had long since shut down and a quiet fog shadowed his brain. Knees buckling, Kursha leaned against a wall and came to a stop. He clutched at his side where a gaping wound—just one of many—threatened to deposit his innards. There was a gentle pat-pat-pat sound, as streaks of olive blood splashed onto the floor.

Pathetic. He had put on a brave face for the army, but no matter how convincing his lies, he could do nothing to hide the evidence of his failure that stained him from prong to hoof. How could he face the troops again like this? How could he face Regina? She would be expecting for him to give a full report no doubt. But perhaps he would not have to. After all he might die before he saw her again.

Even as a joke, the thought brought him no amusement.

Forcing himself to keep moving, Kursha slid against the wall and around the corner into one of the side-tunnels. His body felt so damn heavy. He left a green smear where his side pressed against the rock. His fingers went to the buckle of his belt, and a moment later it clattered to the floor, along with the remains of all his tools: the net gun, a set of cartridges, a spare grenade, a syringe... Little good they had done him. The Phoenix Initiative had lost few if any, and in exchange he had been reduced to...

Kursha's strength gave out. Suddenly the world pitched. Behind a stalagmite he stumbled and slumped to the ground. Catching himself on his hands, he pushed himself into a sitting position and unfolded his legs. He leaned his back against the wall. His breathing was laboured and he fought to keep his eyes open. He could not afford to die here; there was so much he still needed to do. Zeffer, Rasali, Ganyma... There was no way they could be allowed to walk. They deserved justice. Kursha tried to summon up his rage, but his store was spent. He was so tired.

He let his chin drop into his chest.

A sole was completely missing from one of her shoes; she noticed when she walked one clicked on the stone flooring while the other was muffled from the soft padding. Her legs and arms were covered in minor scrapes and developing bruises. Her black sweater was littered in debris, holes, and... was that... blood... she scratched at the dried bits, colorful flakes floating to the ground. Upper lip curling in disgust, she moved on to her hair, noticing a large chunk of it seemed to have been completely charred off. Carefully, she reached to pat the burnt ends, watching as some of them completely snapped off at the touch. Her little hands moved to gently touch her polka-dot bow... it was limp and filthy... a searing sensation pricked her eyes... Elidae looked awful.

Aggressively rubbing her eyelids, Elidae wiped herself clean of any gold watery residue with haste. No, this was not a time to be upset! There were more pressing matters to address! Due to her at least walking condition, she was given a small med kit and a canteen of poorly filtered water from some drones, who told her to "Go be useful, kid." So she stumbled around somewhat to do exactly that with a gleeful beam, only to- "Ohf!" Not be paying attention, slipping on something wet on the tunnel floor and falling flat on her backside. She only winced in pain for a moment, however only soon to realize she was now sitting in something sticky, gross, and... still warm. Lifting her hands to her eyes, she peered down at her palms to see them covered in... olive blood? Her nose wrinkled. "Ewwwie." Her eyes drifted upwards from where she sat, following another pool, and another, and another trailing on down into the darkened tunnel in front of her.

Any normal troll wouldn’t have given any care and simply walked away. Elidae on the other hand... "That, um... that sure is a lot of blood…!" she trailed off, deliberately trying to ignoring the pang of extreme curiosity (and utter stupidity). As she stood up, she wiped some of the blood on her sweater-it was completely ruined anyways- and wondered if she could perhaps convince herself out of following this obvious path to something absolutely horrifying... but... her little legs decided to make the decision for her.

She was mostly concerned. Concerned that someone was in danger, hurt, or needed help. Concerned she herself would put herself in danger and become hurt. And she was concerned she would stumble upon something she might not want to see. Regardless, she followed the olive blood down the tunnel warily, keeping alert. After some time, she stumbled upon a belt, some weapons... curious! So it was a fellow troll. A mark of blood against a wall of another extension of the tunnel hinted to go down that way, so she did. Aimlessly treading down the tunnel, she heard something...

Bloodpusher thumbing hard against her ribcage, the little yellowblood did a full twirl, her little feet stepping around in a circle as she searched every side of her for any mysterious presence. Breaking out into nervous, but quiet laughter, Elidae halfheartedly pondered if it was too late to go back.

“... ******** head whipped around in the direction of some nearby cave formations. She approached the formation quietly, listening. Swallowing hard, the apprehensive troll girl peered around the stalagmite. And then there it was-or rather… there he was. Slumped against the rock and a complete bloody mess sat the source of the trail. Elidae slowly stepped around to get a better look, keeping a good distance and holding her large, focused eyes on him as if waiting for some sudden movement. The greenblood's head was hung down, body limp and definitely weak. He looked somewhat... defeated. Or maybe just, y'know, dead. Elidae observed the troll and his features, only to realize... was this...? No. Couldn't be. She continued to gape, frozen from incomprehension. It was difficult for her underdeveloped mind to register that this mess of a troll was possibly the leader of the current mission against the rebels.

Elidae extended a trembling hand to the greenblood's face, as if reaching. She started as a whisper, “Are you…?” but was unable to finish. Plenty of questions plagued her thinkpan in the moment: Are you alright? Are you who I think you are? Are you even still alive? She softly poked his nose, blinking eyes examining closely. "Are you dead??"

      [+] Kursha Vidari

Vision clouding, Kursha slipped towards the depths of unconsciousness. As the darkness overtook him though, something held him back: a niggling sensation that he could not place. A moment later, he recognised it as a voice. At first, he pushed it away. In the part of his mind where thoughts drifted apart and faded into obscurity, anything meaningful was a distraction. But an echo of the sound rippled throughout the darkness, shattering the quiet. Some semblance of self-awareness returned to him. He struggled to parse the sound, to process its relevance. Then there was something else, and he found himself wrenched back to the surface of the waking world.

Eyes fluttered open that he had not even realised he had closed. A fuzzy grey object filled the centre of his vision. It pressed lightly against his nose. “Á̷̫̐ͅŗ̶͕̀̈́e̵͓͚͋̕ ̸̬͙̒͘y̷̜̓̚ͅȯ̵̧͈̍u̶̧̫̿̈́ ̴̼̟̍͛d̷̡̛͉͊ē̷̥̌͜a̶̺̹̿͘d̶̠̒̃͜?̵̻̘̄͌ a small voice asked. Kursha tilted his head, forcibly reconstructing the sentence. As he did, the object pulled away, and Kursha recognised it as a finger. Attached to it was a young troll. She looked apprehensive, concerned, and puzzled all at once.

“Not yet apparently,” Kursha said. He pressed his hand against the floor, and tried to stand. A wave of pain that radiated throughout his body reminded him of why that would be a bad idea. He settled for sitting up, and leaning his head back to better view the troll standing in front of him. She was a yellowblood, judging from the few strips of colour left on her clothes, and looked like s**t. Not that he was in any position to judge.

“Why?” Kursha asked, his voice acquiring an edge. He had remembered who he was, as well as his circumstances. He had an image to uphold. “You looking to finish the job?” He narrowed his eyes at the girl.

There was a long inhale of breath at the sight of his eyes opening, and then Elidae quietly sighed in relief. However, the moment he attempted to lift himself up, she simultaneously stepped back in panic and ended up with her back against the tunnel wall, the feeling of relief swept up from under her. She hadn't meant to be startled so easily, but she was no fool. Any older troll could easily harm her, and while he obviously was not in the best condition, Elidae would not make that risk. Being able to get a better look at his face, she recognized the shape and olive markings, confirming to herself that he was dangerous. She attempted to recall his name, but the uproar and commotion from every troll, loyal and rebel, in the cavern just before the battle began had muddled any memory of hearing it.

Upon being questioned of her intentions, Elidae laughed fearfully and choked on a sharp breathe of air in response to such a hostile assumption of a lowblood girl. "N-No! That's not-what?” She squeaked out, immediately putting her hands up in defense, what items she had clattering to the ground. Feeling tightness in her chest, she sensed the coldness in his glare and it made a chill run up her spine. While she was glad by nature that he was at least still breathing, he certainly went from looking like a bled-out corpse straight to a cynical jerk real quick. A little taken aback, Elidae had minded to mention nicely that if she truly wanted to "finish the job", she would have done it while he had slipped into unconsciousness. Besides that, it really boggled her thinkpan that he somehow came to that conclusion. Who was this guy?

Yet she attempted to feign a friendly smile, one that would perhaps mask over her distress and diffuse some of the tension she felt between the rocky walls of the tunnel.“No, we’re on the same side.” She started softly, slowly dropping her arms to her sides, but her fingers began to twitch nervously and pull at the hem of her sweater. “I followed a trail of blood- well, I actually, I fell into it first,” Elidae lightheartedly trailed off, twisting her body to display the olive blood on her. "Anyways, it lead me here! To you!" She giggled awkwardly, deliberately avoiding all eye contact. After a moment of humming with thought, she picked up the medkit.

Clearing her throat, she got to the point. “Why are you not at the medical bay? You are very hurt." She eyed him over carefully to emphasize the fact. Maybe... he actually wanted to die? Was he planning on his death, alone in this faraway tunnel? The thought made her very... sad.

"I want to help you.” Elidae crouched down beside him, still giving a bit of distance between them. She gave him a optimistic grin and patted the little medical kit in her hands, "I've got this here medkit!" A pause, "O-or I can find someone more qualified," Elidae offered diffidently, knowing fully well she was incapable of tending to these sorts of wounds. "Just... please, let me help you. You need medical attention."

      [+] Kursha Vidari

For a long while, Kursha's gaze remained hard. His stony countenance did not change when she denied his accusation, nor when she showed his blood staining her clothes. Behind the mask though, he processed her words with an emotion he could not place. Fear? No. Caution? Not quite that either. The name escaped him. He felt a twinge of desperation. His mind was sluggish, he knew, crippled by pain and blood-loss. Normally sharper than his eyes, with an uncanny ability to read the minds of others, in his current condition he could not read himself, much less the troll before him. He was in a way blind.

And he had no idea how to interact with the young troll offering him help.

Indecisive, he studied her, trying to parse some meaning from her words or actions. She had crouched down next to him, close but with a safe distance in between. Was that fear? Or respect? He was uncertain. He centred his gaze on her face. She wore a bright smile, despite the circumstances. Was there something else there? Smiles could hold traps. But what reason would she have to trap him? She said she wanted to help him. She had nothing to gain by lying.

He was struck by a sudden wave of regret. The last time he had accepted help... A heavy weight settled in his in his digestive cavity. It was not his failing organs. The last time he had accepted help, he broke down. Even though he had been forced into accepting he still fell apart. And then there was the time before that... and before that...

No. Kursha stopped himself. He could not afford to think like that now. Not after all he had done. Closing the door on his memories, he forced himself to meet Elidae's eyes. Her own gaze was focussed slightly to the right, away from him. So, it was fear after all. The realisation left him feeling hollow.

He was nothing worth fearing.

“Got tired.” Kursha managed at last, answering her earlier question. “Figured I'd go for a nap.” That was stupid of course. Hostility fading, he gave the troll a faint grin. Even if it was mostly forced, he felt some of his snark returning.

“If I let you help me, what do I owe you?” There. He found his compromise. Just maintaining his grip on consciousness, he watched the yellowblood carefully.

'A nap?'' Elidae questioned his integrity, yet found his reasoning to be slightly amusing and made no comment about it; she was certain he had his reasons for not wanting to tell her the truth. That was okay. She wouldn't press him about it. Perhaps she didn't want to know, anyways. Accepting him just wanting to take a little snooze down in the dark tunnels far far away from everytroll while he slowly bled out made it all a little less concerning. Sort of. Probably not. Regardless, she took it.

Fluttering her eyelashes and tilting her head to the side, Elidae stared up at him as if his inquiry was the most absurd thing she's ever heard in her entire, tiny life. "Huh?? You wouldn't owe me anything, silly!" Sitting down beside him with her legs folded, Elidae scooted a little closer to him and opened the first aid box. She felt appreciative of the fact that he at least gave her a grin, even if it was weak. It was a step towards a less rigid environment. Finding a small bandaid, Elidae silently focused on trying to open the little paper packaging, sticking out her tongue in concentration as it crinkled between her tiny fingers. "'Sides, you're important, right? I recognize you from earlier tonight." Inching a little closer to him, she pressed the bandage gently on his arm over one of the most minor scrapes he had, a tiny "yay!" was whispered in accomplishment. The little yellowblood returned to rummage through the first aid box again and hummed to herself cheerfully."So yeah, it's my duty to help my fellow comrade, right?" She mentioned this, although even to herself her intentions here were very vague and indistinguishable from her civic duty as a loyalist or sincere worry and care. Was it both? If he was a rebel, would she have shown the same friendliness? She pushed the thought to the side for now, not wanting to dwell on it.

"Although... if you want, you can tell me your name?" She suggested after a moment, a light blush flushing to her cheeks. She added, "'Mine is Elidae, if you'd like to know mine first."

      [+] Kursha Vidari

As the yellowblood retrieved a bandage, Kursha could only stare in bafflement. This was surreal. This whole situation. Was this really happening? Or was this just hallucination borne of blood loss? He was inclined to think the latter, yet he could feel a faint pressure against his skin, where she stuck the bandage. This was just out-of-the-norm, inane stupidity then. He thought he had left this kind of thing behind a long time ago. What an embarrassment.

“Kursha,” he replied, voice clipped. His grin had faded. It took too much energy to keep up the usual pretence. Silence fell, as the conversation ground to a halt. In the quiet, he studied her, watching as she puttered around the medical kid picking up and setting down various things. That was enough.

“You really don't have a god damn clue of what you're doing, do you?” Kursha gave Elidae a flat look. Her own expression told him everything he needed to know. Fantastic. “Look,” he said heaving a sigh. “No offence or nothing, but you aren't gonna piece me back together with Band-Aids.” He considered the medical kid. He could attempt to stitch up some of his own wounds but... in his current condition he could barely lift his arms let alone manoeuvre a needle. And as much as this yellowblood wanted to help him, he was not about to have her experiment with some basic first aid on him.

Suddenly an idea occurred to him. It was so obvious; he could hardly believe he had not thought of it before. He swore under his breath. “Say, Elidae.” It felt strange to use her name as it was. “On your way here, did you see a belt laying around with a bunch of random crap attached to it?”

So his name was Kursha! Somehow putting a name to the greenblood beside her brought her an exceptional amount of happiness. Humming his name to herself repeatedly, Elidae was determined to make sure she would store it forever in her thinkpan. However, the positive feelings she had were short lived when he commented on her obvious lack of awareness of what she was doing. A drop in her bile sack and a moment later, Elidae was wrenched back to the reality of the situation and it slightly shocked her.

"'I, um... you're right." was all she replied, her normally peppy tone dropping. Suddenly, the tunnel grew colder, the grin he wore eventually faded, as did her own. A nagging feeling of shame poked at her relentlessly, questioning her foolishness. Part of it was because Elidae had been on edge since she wandered down here, but the other part was because she was completely clueless and was trapped in denial about it. It made her feel... useless. She bit her lip, a heavy awkwardness settling over her.

At the sound of him actually addressing her by name, she immediately perked up, ready and willing to listen to him. A belt? Bunch of random crap? She put a finger to her chin, beginning to recall running into those exact things as she followed down the tunnel. "Oh, yes, I did actually!" Elidae piped up, setting the medkit to the side and eagerly pushing herself up from her sitting position to stand, "'Would you like me to retrieve them for you, um... Kursha? She saw the opportunity to use his name and she took it, adding friendly emphases to it and a sincere smile as the cherry on top.

When Elidae's smile disappeared, Kursha almost felt bad. Almost. Before he could properly register the feeling however, Elidae brightened, donning a fresh smile. It was unsettling how quickly she was able to bounce back. Considering the grim nature of the situation, he was amazed she was able to maintain such a chipper outlook at all. Maybe... He dismissed the thought. Kids were kids.

Kursha gave a slight nod. “Yeah, if you could,” he said. Was that a request? He never made requests; just orders. “There should be a syringe. Don't worry about the rest of it.” Signalling that their conversation was at an end, Kursha closed his eyes. After a moment though, he opened his left eye a crack to observe.

"Yes, sir!" Elidae made a mock salute to his request (or was that an order? Regardless, she paid no mind to it), her baby face holding an unusually serious expression, imitating a soldier. After a lighthearted giggle, she happily turned on her heel to fetch the syringe, pleased with how she was being of use-at least for the moment. Uneasiness began to settle deep within her however, when she noticed he had closed his eyes. What if he slipped into unconsciousness? What if he were to suddenly die? "Ah, d-don't fall asleep on me, okay?" Elidae called over her shoulder, voice carrying a hint of worry. While she was definitely not knowledgeable on anything medical (obviously), she was still aware that keeping the wounded awake was critical until they received proper attention. Only a moment later she stumbled upon the belt and other miscellaneous things, but where was the syringe? "Where did that thing go..." Her foot kicked something. Tink. Tink tink. "Oh!" Elidae shuffled over to the syringe and bent down swiftly to snatch it from the ground. "Gotcha!" This was definitely what what she was looking for!

Coming back, she paused for a short moment in front of him, scrutinizing the syringe wordlessly, then handed it to Kursha in an outstretched hand. Elidae began to prod at him with questions, eyes sparkling with anticipation and curiosity. "What is it? What's it gunna do? Will it make you better?"

      [+] Kursha Vidari

As Elidae called back to him over her shoulder, Kursha responded with a snort. For him there would be no sleep. Either he died or he didn't, and there was nothing he could do to change that. No amount of willpower would save him if he bled out. She must have understood that much. Still...

The yellowblood disappeared around the stalagmite, and Kursha allowed his thoughts to fade. The lull in the conversation proved dangerous. Despite his scepticism, he found it difficult to maintain he grasp on consciousness. Forcing his eyes open again, he leaned his head back to stare at the ceiling, counting stalactites, counting heads, counting minutes... When Elidae returned he was in a trance. Awake but distant. After a moment his gaze focussed on her and the object she offered to him. Right.

Propping his left arm against his knee, he took the syringe. A clear fluid splashed around inside. “Something like that,” he replied, bracing himself. With a grimace he plunged the needle into his left forearm. His body had muted all the pain, but still the sight nauseated him.

When the last of the fluid had been injected into his bloodstream, Kursha withdrew the needle and tossed the syringe aside. “It'll be a minute,” he said. He eyed the yellowblood, expression blank, but internally apprehensive. No matter how naïve and harmless she seemed, he felt exposed.

“Sorry if I'm not exactly the best conversation partner at the moment. It's been an... off night. Do you mind if I...?” He sent a pointed look towards the medical kit. Then he leaned forwards and dragged the kit closer. Rummaging through its contents, he came out with a needle and thread. Some of the warmth was returning to his limbs. A sense of touch radiated through his fingertips.

A thought occurred to him. Off-hand, Kursha asked, “Where's your lusus?”

Elidae fixated on the syringe, watching the clear liquid empty from the chamber and disappear into Kursha's forearm. As it was tossed to the side, she watched it clack and skid on the ground, inevitably rolling out of sight. Turning her gaze to Kursha, she felt both intrigued and mystified. Even after a few seconds, some color returned to his features, he was starting to look less like a corpse, but- but his blank stare. "Eh-?" Was he still suspicious of her? She wilted, but eyed him in return, albeit more petrified than anything else.

"O-oh, yeah, of course…!" She said, though Kursha had already managed to get to the kit first. As he searched, she sat down facing him, keeping the distance and wrapping her arms around her knees to peer behind them. So he said he was having an off night, but Elidae wondered if there was much more to it than that. Hmm.

She questioned. She questioned many things. The lighthearted smile suggested innocence, but internally she was crumbling and an apprehensive mess. When the conversation ceased, she slowly becoming aware of the extent of her exhaustion; the tenseness of her muscles, the stinging pain from the cuts and scrapes, the way her head began to bob from fatigue. Dreaming of a recuperacoon sounded lovely, but the thought proved impossible to hold in the tunnel with this peculiar greenblood. He was not the only one having an off night.

Upon Kursha's query, she startled. Oh. Right. A child without a lusus might have been an usual sight, even though the circumstance was unusual in itself. Her expression twisted. "M-My lusus?" There was a crack in her voice, "Oh! Um… well… he… he’s, uhh, unconscious right now! Getting some medical attention." She gave a small, nonchalant wave of her hand, "But, y’know, he’s fine. He's super durable. I would know ‘cause I trip all over him all the time! Hahah, hah." A pause. "I’m sure he would be having a bloodpusher attack right now if he knew where I was," Uncomfortable and a bit ashamed, Elidae forced a stiff laugh, heat rising to her cheeks. Finding a small stone, she toyed with it and avoided eye contact, mumbling her thoughts for justification, more for herself than Kursha. "I couldn't just sit there. I had to do something more than that... hmm."

Abruptly, she tossed the stone down the tunnel, donning a renewed smile, giggling. "Where's your lusus? Do you still have one? Well, I guess you look kinda old, so you don't really need one anymore. Maybe that's a silly question, heheh. But I've seen some older trolls walk around with them, even adults."

      [+] Kursha Vidari

The Colonel.

Kursha stopped mid-stitch. He should have expected such a question. He had practically walked into it. Yet somehow he was caught by surprise. For a moment, the greenblood's face turned rigid, a mixture of intense contempt and something indecipherable. Then the mask was back in place.

“Unfortunately,” he replied, voice cold. He had long dreamed of planting a bullet in her heart. “And I'm not that old,” he added, somewhat indignant. “Only seven sweeps.”

It was strange. When he was younger he had been in nothing but a hurry to grow up. It had always been a thing to look forward to in the distant future though. He had hardly noticed the changes in himself. True he was taller and a little stronger than he was before, but otherwise nothing had changed. Where was all the self-assurance? The promise of control? He thought he had found some of that when he made his deal with Regina, but that illusion had been shattered. He was back to where he started. Yet somehow he was older. The realisation raised questions he found he was not comfortable with answering.

Stitching up the rest of his side, Kursha turned his thoughts to the rest of Elidae's monologue. He felt a sense of relief learning that her lusus had only been knocked unconscious. A small portion of him had been swallowed by guilt, wondering if possibly her lusus had died, and if it had, if it was his fault. He did not need that kind of obligation to another person. Still, one thing she said stood out to him.

“What's wrong with where you are?” he asked suddenly. Work finished, he clipped the thread and placed the spool back in the box. There were no doubt other wounds that could use stitching up, but he did not have the energy (or the stomach) for more than one. He turned his gaze up to Elidae for the first time since he had taken the medical kit. Huddled up as she was, even with her faux-smile she looked pretty pathetic. He made an attempt.

“This tunnel got a bad reputation or something? Or is it just me?”

Only seven sweeps? With an apologetic smile, she nodded, not sure how to respond to his tone. Her curiosity piqued by Kursha's simple answer, but very negative reaction, to her lusus inquiry, wanting to know more, but she kept her lip shut and let him do his work.

"Huh?" His question caught her slightly off guard, the beat in her chest quickening. Oh no, did he take offense to that? Elidae jumped to clarify. “Uhhh, well... my lusus just doesn’t like it when I run off without him. Or try to make friends with strangers. I really don’t know whyyyy.” Truthfully, she really did not understand why her lusus felt the need to monitor who and what she made friends with. Everyone needed a friend, and Elidae sought after the friendship of every troll she met. Including this one.

“He can’t know! You gotta keep it a secret, okay?” Dramatically dropping her face to a stone cold serious expression, Elidae pressed her index finger to her lips, but could not hold it as she broke out into another smile to address something else.

“And your reputation isn’t bad! It's good... I think. Fearless, brave, admirable. You’re the strong commander! Or is it captain? Commander, captain, commander, captain…” Elidae blew air in her cheeks and lightly tapped them with her finger tips, eyes drifting up in thought as her mouth made pth, pth, pth noises. She really had absolutely no knowledge about the military, even with the heavy influence in New Hemisect City, her home. The thought brought back some memories from earlier that night, when she had a full stomach and made some interesting new companions. Eridia made note that she was too delicate to join the army- perhaps the yellowblood agreed, but mostly because she was completely clueless. With a final ptthhhh. Elidae heaved a sigh. “For some others you might have a bad reputation, hehehe.” She laughed at her own joke, finding her mention of the rebels quite humorous, though feeling somewhat empty.

A thought occurred, sudden and intrusive, resulting with her face falling from her typical silly smile to completely distraught. “You’re going back out there… aren’t you.” It was neither a question nor a statement, but rather a realization. Eyeing him, the work he had done on himself was good, but Kursha had many other excruciating wounds to account for that he hadn't touched. Without doubt, he would return to the field. What would have happened if she hadn't been here? Fall apart, maybe. But she half pondered if he would regardless. Pushing the thought out of mind, she felt determined to not plague her thinkpan with such negative thoughts. He would be fine, right? ... right?

"Um..." She faltered, unsure what to say.
