Family Information Uchekeshi, Mother (pinchmonster) Uchekeshi, the goddess of humor, will not be a part of these cubs' lives, but she will have named them and weaned them before leaving them with their father in the Stormborn.
Kraken, Father (Princess_Feylin) Kraken is one of Aesir's sons, although he is only vaguely aware of that fact. His mother was an important lioness in the Einalai Thalassi, and according to pridal tradition put him and his brother ashore, to be found by a Stormborn reaver. Kraken ended up being raised by a lawspeaker. He finds having five cubs (two of them twins, all of them seers) somewhat overwhelming, but he will try his best to raise them well. He will never be abusive toward them, although when they deserve it he won't hesitate to cuff an offending cub.
K̄hả, Sister (Princess_Feylin) Rough and tumble, but not much of a talker, K̄hả will probably grow up to be a reaver and settle into relative anonymity in adulthood. She's cheerful though, and a reliable companion for adventures. It should be noted that she is absolutely terrified of monkeys, even though she's never met one, because she thinks the idea of their fingers is creepy as all get out.
Khīsa, Sister (Princess_Feylin) Khīsa wants desperately to be an elegant, butt-kicking lady, which mostly ends up in her acting prissy and stuck up until someone annoys her, and then she reverts to claws. Despite all that, she'll grow up to be basically a genial lioness who wants to collect a bunch of thralls who know how to braid and then charging reavers for their services.
???, Brother (pinchmonster) Not much is known about him, except that he is half of the twin set.

Goldeneye Cub name: Fisadi (Mischief in Swahili) Personality: Unlike what his name might suggest, Fisadi is a true warrior at heart. He was born the runt of his litter, and struggled greatly in his early life - whether it was to keep up with his siblings or simply to put on weight. But his early adversity hardened him into a survivor, and lit a deep seated ambition in him to prove that despite his smaller size, he can do more than keep up with the rest of the pride. His lifelong goal is to climb the ranks and prove himself in battle, and he hopes to one day become a Captain. Partly because of this, he often puts on a very stern and serious front, although around his close friends he will often lighten up and show a more lighthearted side of himself. But that is solely reserved for his most trusted companions - to most, he is a resolute lion who doesn't take well to nonsense. Potential future plots: Obviously, as his personality might suggest, I'd love to work towards him climbing the ranks. From Freeborn to Reaver to Captain, and if plotting permits, perhaps even having a short stint as Warlord? I doubt he'd handle ruling over the entire pride very well, but that would just make it more satisfying for him to eventually go back to his former Captain status! Violet Eyes Lie Cub name: Cere'kanje ('chuckle' - Bosnian) xxxxxNote: Would totally be willing to change it to Kere'kanje if for some reason the other two unnamed boys end up with K-names, as seem to be the (accidental?) trend. Personality: Cere'kanje is a cub lacking in self-confidence. He finds himself fascinated by his own origins and takes a lot of very quiet pride in it. However, he knows it is a bit absurd. Cere'kanje has an awful laugh. He knows it, everyone around him knows it, it's just kind of fact. And this plays heavily into the strange way he carries himself around. Although he's pretty happy-go-lucky, whenever he barks out a laugh after inserting himself into a conversation, his shoulders drop low and be abashedly slinks away. His peers recognize that he's kind of strange in that way, and thus he remains a bit of an outcast. Potential future plots: I'd love to find Cere'kanje a friend during juve or adolescent-hood that thinks his laugh is great because of how genuine it is, and have that turn into a lifelong friendship. If this doesn't happen I think he'd like to become a Reaver or turn into someone who just... collects thralls in a way to bring up his status within the pride, among his peers. Violet Eyes Lie Cub name: Stian (One who Wanders in Norse) Personality: Stian has been filled with mischief and pranks since he was able to walk around by himself. He loves to play jokes on others, even when other lions are not in on it, and can't seem to understand why everyone isn't laughing. He plays pranks like relaying bad information, "accidentally" pushing someone into a watering hole, hiding another lion's belongings. He's not out right malicious - he just thinks it's all fun and games. He cares about his family, but doesn't seem to understand when a joke has gone a little too far, and that could hurt his relationships. He does feel remorse after the fact, but in the moment he's gleeful at pulling off the perfect scheme. I could see him picking on Khīsa a bit, she's coming off as stuck up , and he just wants to have fun. Potential future plots: In his adolescene he will get a vision of something coming and a sibling/family member/friend wont believe him he will have to re-evaluate his jokes and games because someone could get hurt. He has to stop the bad thing from happening (Like Boy who cried wolf, I suppose). Smaller plots: he pulls a prank on the wrong lion and perhaps a rivalry is formed. Goldeneye Cub name: Kitendawili - riddle in Swahili Personality: Kit has a very dry sense of humor that most might consider rather off-putting. He likes to point things out that others are thinking but won't say due to social reasons or to avoid being rude. For him, seeing other people squirm at his jokes is what gets him going. Beyond his strange sense of humor he's pretty low key, enjoying the finer points of being a Stormborn. He's strong and smart enough to make the Reaver rank and might even end up being a very strange Captain one day if he tries hard enough. Potential future plots: I'd love for Kit to eventually become a Captain so he can weird out his Reavers with his off-color jokes. He'll keep everyone on their toes, that's for sure. He'd be very interested in taking Thralls in and, if any of them tickled his fancy, would probably take them as saltwives. He wouldn't be the type to take a mate...he'd probably drive any sane Stormborn crazy. His visions are weak but frequent and usually happen when he's asleep so he's never quite sure if he's dreaming or having a vision, but when whatever he saw comes to pass he'll just be like 'oh, that was a vision'. It's usually never anything spectacular, just a certain lion stopping to talk to him or a particular rock getting stuck between his does. Very dull things that would give him more of a sense of deja vu than anything. Your favorite James Bond theme song: Live and Let Die
Violet Eyes Lie Cub name: Kipepeo - butterfly in Swahili Personality: Kip has a huge heart and will go out of his way to help anyone in need, be it he war lord or a Thrall. He's always got a smile on his face and is rarely down in the dumps. His good nature and laugh are infectious and it's hard for anyone that's around him for any period of time to be mad or sad for long. Kip isn't too concerned with fighting and would end up taking the role of a Lawspeaker, more interested with the well-being of his pridemates than making a name for himself. Potential future plots: Kip is going to be homosexual although he won't parade it around as such. I'd love for him to have a secret male mate with perhaps a sister to keep it secret and to have cubs with. He'd definitely be a keeper of the peace and if there were any future struggles for power he'd try desperately to keep everyone safe and to settle the arguments with words rather than claws. Possibly get taken hostage by pirates or another group of lions for drama? He's definitely not a fighter so he's not good at defending himself beyond a bit of bravado. I'd like for his visions to show him alternate versions of what might happen in the future - he can trigger them himself to see what the outcomes might be if he does one thing or another. They'd be powerful visions though, and take a lot of his energy so he couldn't use the gift very often. Your favorite YA dystopia: The Giver
