Wrapped Up

Junko sat back against Seiji’s legs, taking up..basically the entire floor of his living area while she worked on a dress. But it wasn’t just a dress, it was a dress with a hooded cloak with arm holes and she had also demanded gloves and a matching muff. Apparently she was taking a trip to the human world and it was getting cold there, but she still had to look good. Well, okay. Junko could do that. But working alone in her work room at home got tiring after awhile so today she had opted to bring some of it to Seiji’s dorm. He could work on homework, she could work on her dress. Most of it was already done anyway she just needed to finish it.

She snuggled back against his legs, pins held between her lips while she worked at some hand stitching.

My Gift to You!

It was the little things Junko loved most of all. The fact that Seiji knew her favorite colors, her favorite flowers, her favorite tea, her favorite everythings. He even knew what she would like before she knew she liked it. And he knew she liked sweet gestures. He also quite enjoyed spoiling her with a constant stream of gifts, something that had always been a thing between them but she very rarely had the chance to reciprocate. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to because she very much did, she just didn’t always have the money to do so like he somehow did.

Well, that changed. Junko had been working between projects on something just for him. The colder Octobers were coming and, despite being a ghost, Seiji would need a coat if only for the aesthetic of wearing a coat in the colder Autumn season. It was the same length as a duster jacket without the unflattering shapelessness accompanied by the style, and of course black in color. There were decorative buckles and straps, though not a ridiculously obnoxious amount, and the coat itself could be closed from neck to just below the waist but also fit right enough to be left open if he wanted. Long sleeves, and a slightly raised collar without being obnoxious or annoying to the wearer. The coat was tailored to fit his body perfectly, trademark to Junko’s preferred aesthetic of clothing that fit a body and showed off one’s figure, even a masculine body. It was something she wasn’t used to making, punk clothing that suited her fiance instead of dressing him up in something dressy and nice for some sort of event.

The entire coat was black, even the buckles and buttons were a shiny black metal that beautifully reflected the orange of the pumpkin sun. There was just one thing that wasn’t black; the inside of the collar, one corner near Seiji’s chin, where only he would see unless he turned it outward for other creeple to see, was a bit of embroidery done in the same bright red string around his and Junko’s throats: 順子井上

Her name. Or, well, it would be her name once they were married.

You Made a (Poor) Deal

Junko was awake, but her eyes were still closed and her face was still tucked against Seiji's neck, and she was dreading what she knew would be coming soon, but she continued to pretend she was asleep in hope that maybe, just maybe, Seiji would forget...

Hunters! ...Of houses!

"What aboooout this one? Four bedrooms, basement, attic, two bathrooms.." Junko laid sprawled out on her stomach, using her hair to cover herself up while she browsed the web on her phone in bed. She, ever the planner, felt that the sooner they looked into getting a house the sooner they could start that forever long process of acquiring it and the less time they had to stay in her tiny three room apartment. More time for scarelings, less time for waiting. She scowled. "The kitchen is really small though."

Plan All the Weddings!

When Seiji returned from class that day he would find Junko abuzz with excitement, sitting at his computer and squealing with delight. She clapped her hands together, bouncing in the seat and then writing something down in the notebook on her lap by hand. It was a wonder the ghoul managed to work the thing, she wasn’t really one for technology. Handwriting was good enough for her sometimes. If Seiji investigated he would see a picture of a cathedral, one with an address listed as being just on the outskirts of town.

Wrapped up

Seiji still wasn't entirely sure how she had managed to fit everything into his room, but she had. Occasionally he'd look up from the report he was typing up on his lap top to survey the progress she was making, and every time he was shocked by just how much further along she had progressed.

"That's looking great, babe."

Now if only this report would write itself.

My gift to you!

His presence had been request at her--no, it was more or less theirs now--apartment,l so Seiji had headed straight over after his last class. He even still had his bag, books and laptops inside, slung over one shoulder. With a soft knock he let himself in, announcing himself as he headed into the kitchen and dropped his bag on one of the chairs. "Honey, I'm home."

Seiji had not forgotten, and he was well aware that his fiance was awake. She might not have opened her eyes, or made any move away from him, but her breathing had changed, and a certain tension that wasn't there as she slept had crept into her small body.

It was early, way earlier than Junko ever woke up, and ironically, Seiji hadn't done anything. It was funny, really, and for now he was perfectly content to lay there in the dark, a smug grin on his face that she wouldn't see unless she gave her act away.

Hunters! ...of houses!

Obligingly, the ghost lifted his head from the book he'd been reading and leaned so he could see the house listing on Junko's phone. unlike his ghoul, Seiji thought it was a little soon to be house hunting, but she was excited about it, so he wouldn't say anything to dissuade her from it. Besides, even if they couldn't actually go through with the process yet, it didn't hurt to be familiar with it, when the time actually came.

"It does look nice, but I think we'll be wanting a bigger kitchen, specially if any of our scarelings take after me."

Plan all the weddings!

He'd never seen Junko more excited than she was now, and he didn't need to see what she was looking at to know what she was doing. Wedding planning, again.

Smiling, the ghost crossed the room to drop a kiss on the top of her head as he headed for his room. "Whatcha looking at, J?"

Don't wake up. Don't wake up. Don't wake up. Maybe if she distracted him? Junko sighed and stretched out in Seiji's arms, arching her back and turning to lie on her back beside him. But her eyes remained closed and she did her absolute best to still appear to be sleeping. She didn't know if Seiji was awake, heck she didn't even know if she was the type of person to move around in her sleep other than her hair occasionally wrapping itself around things in her bed, but given that he didn't need much sleep and he often just watched her..she wasn't taking any chances.

My Gift to You

"Welcome back, my love!" Junko happily chimed from her work room. She quickly moved to take a large sheet and cover a dress form to one side. She even made sure that any materials regarding that particular project were covered as well. "I'm in here~!"

When Seiji arrived in the room she was standing beside the form with the coat she had tailor-made just for her fiancee, holding her arms out to present it to him like some kind of game show host's assistant. "Ta da~! What do you think?"

Wrapped up

She tipped her head back to look up at Seiji with a smile that could be seen even with her lips pressed tightly around the dull ends of pins and needles. "Mm mm!" was all she could say to that. Junko shifted, leaning back a little more and nudging Seiji's knees with her shoulders until she was able to fit herself between his knees.

"...Mm.." Somehow she pouted. "Mm-mm?" She looked up at him again, her expression questioning.

Plan all the weddings!

"Isn't it pretty? It's a cathedral at the edge of town! It's on a hill and surrounded by a cemetery, it's so picturesque, right?" Junko looked up at Seiji with a huge smile and wide eyes, her hair writhing around her with her excitement. "It even has a whole page just for weddings! And another for birthdays, and for just about any kind of celebration there is!" She squealed again.

Hunters! ...Of Houses!

"Pff, I'd never get a kitchen so small anyway. I need all the space," Junko huffed. She held the phone with her hair so she could prop her head up with one hand and use her other to scroll through pages. "Maybe four bedrooms is too many, we'll only need three, right?" Though having a tiny army of scarelings that called her momma sounded absolutely adorable and splendid and she would love to make it happen if not for the voice of reason literally screaming at her in the back of her head 'NO!' and she knew Seiji would, for once, agree with Her.

"If we had a basement or an attic I could turn one of them into my studio.."
