Cutie was enjoying the day out of the house in the park. Summer was coming to a close so the green filly wanted to enjoy the warm weather as much as she could. The burgeoning chef had brought her portable cooler with all her sushi fixings to make nice little snacks for other foals who might pass by.Putting out her cutting board on a nice smooth rock she checked that her knives were packed carefully. She had a special set her mothers allowed her to use outside of the house, without their supervision. They weren't very sharp but sharp enough to cut the fish she carried with her. She had a few other ingredients to top it with as well as the seaweed paper for wrapping. A sealed bowl of sticky rice was also among her tools. Now all she needed was her first customer. Taking a small sign out she placed it against her cooler, "Free Samples!"
For awhile poor Cutie just sat there, waiting for someone to stop and ask for a sample. She wanted to get a good customer base before she was old enough and opened her own business. Her stomach began to rumble as she shifted on the grass. Maybe...maybe she could make herself a little snack while she waited. Taking some tuna and salmon out of her cooler, some sticky rice, and some seaweed paper. Working quickly she made a tuna roll and a salmon roll, topping the later with some bright red tobiko.
