        It's a time when there was no such thing as magic, where magic was told to children as bedtime stories and just make believe. When magic was the secret to magicians and them only.
        Yet have you heard the rumours? Of who you ask? The Regala Family. These guys are, like, a mafia so to speak within Japan. Well, to be more exact they are the justice within Japan. Quite literally as well. They help the towns people with errands, they help out with crimes and give justice a good name, yet they have committed taboo. One of the greatest taboos for anyone to commit. This 'Family' have made a contract with mystical beings. Well, actually, mystical 'object's. Tarot cards with souls and powers. The Leader, also known as Papa, was the first person to commit the taboo, making a contract with one of the tarot cards. Allowing his fate to be controlled by the cards, letting the cards take over his very being and make him acknowledge new weaknesses. Even ones that were once his strengths. But now, he had gained new strengths and new powers. Today is the seventh anniversary of Papa making the contract with the tarot cards along with all the other family members, but now, he has brought not only new members into the family but has also got his twin children in on the family, afterall, they were brought up in the buisness of this group.
        As these ten young adults had gathered, they were each chosen by the cards as to who should hold the power of which card, a symbol of their chosen card was engraved onto their body. Much similar to a tattoo. It will stay up until the day these young adults die as it is also their mark to show that they are apart of Regala Family. Now that the ten are apart of the family buisness, they must show the group and Papa what they're made of, especially the twins as they need to show just how grateful, let alone whether Papa made a good decision or not to allow them to join the Regala Family. Now, who could end up misusing their power and reaching their limit very soon? And what will be the first thing to do with these powers of theirs other than testing it out on each other and having duels? There's also two spies in the midst of the ten, just who will it be and how long will it take until everyone ends up distrusting each other, even the twins?

        This is the Regala Family, a group who've made the largest taboo in history. Now, how will this story end? Will the fate of these ten end up in the clutches of their cards?

        There is the basics such as no cussing, cybering, stealing, autohitting, godmodding, etc. etc.
        No stealing. That goes for everything, pictures, storyline, plot and...well everything.
        There are many genres in this ranging from; Adventure, romance, comedy(?), action, mystery and fantasy.
        Please be semi-literate, that means no txt tlk leik so plz! It's so annoying!
        About posts. Make them pretty and of reasonable length. That means no one liners please!
        If anyone dares to steal this roleplay, fear my wrath!
        The people in the 'family' are all human with powers from making a contract.
        Yes, the people can fall for one another. Obviously, since romance is highly encouraged here, just not the extreme type.
        I am Goddess of this roleplay, I decide what happens and who is accepted, no one else! Just stating obvious things
        Power wise, everyone gets their power from their cards, so just look at the cards and the powers given. But not only that but no one will have the same power because only one person can make a contract with a card.
        More cards will be introduced meaning more spaces in the roleplay once all the spaces are filled and more people want to join. Plus, you get to pick which card you want to go with your role, so pick one that isn't taken.

              This power is basically as it says. If the card contractor speaks a word, an action to an object, such as 'shatter' to a piece of glass for an example, the glass will shatter. But it depends on how tough the object is and it's age for the outcome to be as expected. It depends on the vulnerability of the object as well.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is the invulnerability to think before doing. That's what it's like to be a fool. Often being laughed at by others because of the indecision made. This especially happens after overuse of the power.

              This is a mighty power and has a lot of responsibility, this is because the power to remove memories can be used for either the greater good or even for the worst. Usually used in terms of battle to make an enemy forget what to do during a battle. Manipulating memories can also make it so that the contractor can insert themselves into soemone elses memories.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that the user can sometimes end up getting trapped within the memories in which the contractor is trying to either manipulate or remove. It's a very risky card to say the least.

        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power To Read Hearts and Minds"
              This power may not seem much but if your opponent is the type to think whilst attacking then this power is perfect. The power to read minds may throw the contractor off the track since if people found out about the ability to read minds, they could think up a lie. But the ability to read hearts is an upside as it reveals the true intentions of the opponent or anyone in particular. It also reveals any emotions the opponent feels towards either the contractor or anyone.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that the user will have migranes from using the power too much and may end up being dragged into situations where they feel the urge to get involved in others problems. This power also acts at random and not at the will of the user, especially the reading hearts part.

        xxxStrong Against: The Lovers
        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power of Absence and Presence"
              This power can make it so that the contractor is invisible and not only that but their presence is masked so that even the most skilled sensers can't tell where the contractor is. Hence the absence, but the presence part allows the contractor to be able to give a lingering feeling to any person, making them feel like they're being watched or being followed by someone.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that the contractor may not be able to undo their invisibility if it's over a certain time period. The catch is, the time period is unknown. No one truthfully knows the time limit and also, if the use of presence is at work, the contractor would start to feel weaker if it's used for too long.

        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power of Fortune"
              This power is used only on other contractors. If a contractor is in pain at any point because of the card, then the Wheel of Fortune card can make it so that the pain is erased and alter the relaionship between the contractor and the card itself. It can also give luck to the contractor if the bond between the card and contractor is good. It can also bestow luck onto anyone who is in a nearby area and is on the same side as the contractor.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that the pain that is supposedly erased isn't completely erased as the contractor will gain a quarter of the amount of pain from the other contractor in which the power was used on.

        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power of Eternal Slumber"
              This power can put whoever the contractor wants to to sleep. Similar to a coma. This power is only active when the contractor is concious and if the user is unconcious then the eternal slumber will wear off. It will put strain on the user if the contractor tries too hard to stay awake for a long period of time.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that the contractor can lose control of their powers if it's used too much and the person close to them, whether it's a family member or a close friend, or even a crush, they will be put to eternal rest but it's unknown how to awake them if the power is out of control. That's it and sometimes, if the power is overused too much in a day or even a week then the contractor won't be able to sleep as much as they want.

              This power is somewhat obvious. The user can manipulate the elements but of course, the elements that the contractor can control is fire, water, earth and wind. These are the only elements that the contractor can manipulate. Not only that but because the user can manipulate four elements, they cannot make large flashy moves because of the strain that overusing the power will do to their body.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that if the powers are overused, the contractor can lose feeling in their body and sometimes collapse from the strain of trying to overuse their powers, causing the contractor to fall into a coma like state for a long time. It depends on how much of their powers was used.

        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power of Forced Memories"
              With this power, the contractor can forcibly bring out someone's memories if they're forgotten, somewhat making them stronger than the Emperor. When the contractor wishes to bring back a certain memory, they literally enter the mind of the other person and search about for the memory wanted which is sealed away by 'metaphorical' vines. This power can also bring back the worst memories someone can hold which the person has tried so much to forget.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that if the powers are overused, the contractor may lose some memories, this is it. If they are lost though, they're lost forever. The contractor cannot bring them back because they cannot use their power on themself.

        xxxPower Given Upon Contract: "Power of Truth"
              With this power, the contractor can speak the truth and make it so that whatever they say is the truth, sometimes they can even say lies which are said to be the truth. Not only that but they have the power to make judgement and judge whatever they think seems right and use the truth during that. Claiming that someone is right for example and using the power of truth would make people believ that the person speaking was actually telling the truth.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that if the contractor overuses the power of truth, an electric shock will be sent throught heir body. Not only that but it they do, infact, tell a blatant lie and it's not just a petty white lie, punishment will reign down on them. To be honest, they just can tell a fat lie though may be able to tell little white lies.

              With this power, the contractor has the ability to manipulate the ground at their will. Not only that but they can use earth as it's weapon but not the planet itself, they cannot turn things on each other but they can manipulate the earth below and that's the strongest power anyone would get from it.
        xxxWeakness: The weakness that comes with this card is that if the contractor overuses the power a harsh punishment will hit, they will become weaker strength wise and in worst case senarios, their life line can also be shortened if overused too much. This card has the biggest weight as the contractor almost feels as though the world is weighed down on their shoulders. It's best to not overuse this power if possible.

        The Twins of the Regala Family
        These two were born and raised within the Regala family. They are practically the legal heirs to being the next leaders of the Regala family. They're pretty much like princesses so to speak but they prefer to be treated normally.

        The Six Righteous Newcomers
        Abandoning their ordinary lives to join the Regala family and provide justice throught Japan, these four made contracts with different cards and ones of their choice. These four remained within the Family and have not allowed their hearts to falter from the course of being apart of the Family.

• Nickname/s: Anju, Ann, sometimes Ju-chan or just Regala-sama...I'm sure Anju is an easy name to remember...
• Age: 22
• Gender: Female
• Crush: "I don't...really want to...umm...discuss this~!"

• Symbol: A Wheel and it takes up the entirety of her back.
• Power: "Power of Fortune"
This power is used only on other contractors. If a contractor is in pain at any point because of the card, then the Wheel of Fortune card can make it so that the pain is erased and alter the relaionship between the contractor and the card itself. It can also give luck to the contractor if the bond between the card and Anju is good. It can also bestow luck onto anyone who is in a nearby area and is on the same side as Anju.
• Personality: She's a bright and cheerful girl who likes to play cupid and try to be a love guru. She has a habit of tripping over thin air and is almost very much like a child, despite her appearance. She's very polite and makes it very easy to start up a conversation with. She loves to talk. She's very innocent as well. That's another thing to say, she's easily embarrased and pretty much like a kid, but can be very lady-like during conversations with important people or events. Is very motherly as well towards those younger than her.
• Biography: Anju was born as a weak child, very frail to be exact and was kept in her room often out of harms way so she wouldn't fall or break limbs. She was always mixed up with her slightly older sister so, being as she was, when she turned sixteen, she changed her hair colour. Bleaching it completely white to try and make her different from her sister. It was also about that time that Anju started to wear dresses and aprons and start leaving her room more and more. But ever since she made the contract with the card, she started to stay in her room again, out of harms way despite her efforts to try and leave to help other people. Afterall, that was what being a part of the Regala family was all about.
• Likes: Onigiri, the cards, her sister, friends, laughing, making friends, her family, leaving her room, tea, snow, snowmen, spring, flowers and also leaves.
• Dislikes: Being compared with her sister, not being allowed to leave her room, watching someone close to her get hurt, being unable to do anything, crying, being alone, lightning, being out in the sun too long and sitting in hotsprings, she doesn't mind being around them, it's just sitting in the water, that's all. She also can't stand the heat, she'd rather be too cold than too hot. She also has a strong dislike for bugs and stress, if she's stressed or very confused, and she has to be very confused in order for this to happen, she'll faint...yup.
• Fears: Anju has a fear of lightning and thunder storms, if she hears thunder, she will immdietly fall to her knees or try and find somewhere to hide from it.

• Name: Marie Madarame
• Nickname/s: Marie, Riri-chan.

• Symbol: It's a spark that's located on my inner right wrist.
• Power: "Power of Elements"
This power is somewhat obvious. Marie can manipulate the elements but of course, the elements that Marie can control is fire, water, earth and wind. These are the only elements that Marie can manipulate. Not only that but because Marie can manipulate four elements, she cannot make large flashy moves because of the strain that overusing the power will do to her body.
• Personality: Marie is kind of stuck up, she looks down on others and is seen as a plain out sadistic b***h at times. People wonder whether she could be one of the 'wolves' but she isn't Not one bit. She's actually sweet once you look past the snobby exterior, she's also quite wise and is often seen reading a new book at least every two days. Not just that but she's quite violent once she's forced too, usually when she's stuck under pressure or feels cornered. Only her brother can calm her down when she's mad which is rare but can occur if you tamper with the right buttons.
• Biography: Marie was born as an older sister, one to look out for her 'year younger' brother and she's always...I guess you could say she spoilt him in regular doses. She was like a substitute mother for when their mother passed when Marie was five and Toru was four. The two stuck to each other like glue, but through school, the two started to seperate. Both changing completely, they were both children of a man who led a great company afterall, it was a surprise the two weren't recognised in school and 'used' by their friends. Though, when the duo both finally graduated, their father thought it was time for them to have some time to bond with each other. No one understood why they seperated or parted, neither does Marie but she doesn't mind too much, after all, it was all in the past. Let bygones be bygones as their father said as Marie tried to do so. As the two were 'bonding' they ended up joining the Regala family and gaining powers from the cards, Marie wasn't sure why Toru dragged her here but he definately had a scheme of some kind, that was definate. She wasn't too sure what tricks he had up his sleeve but she decided that it would be best to not question him and has gone along with it. Now she sits in the large house and tries to get along with people but because of her snobby behavior, it's hard for her to make people befriend her.
• Likes: Reading, the colour blue, roses, ribbons, violins, insulting people, making people think she's a 'Queen', making friends (admittedly), frills and classical music.
• Dislikes: People hiding secrets from her, doubting her brother, annoying people, those who can't handle their own responsibilities, being inside for too long and sour foods.
• Fears: She fears small places, she's claustrophobic basically and hates being surrounded by people for too long.
• Weapons: She uses a spear and a rapier.
• Extra?: She plays violin in her spare time.

This power can make it so that Toru is invisible and not only that but his presence is masked so that even the most skilled sensers can't tell where the he is. Hence the absence, but the presence part allows Toru to be able to give a lingering feeling to any person, making them feel like they're being watched or being followed by someone.
• Personality: Toru is quite manipulative, he likes to monopolise things and sometimes even people. He calls people his 'little lambs' if they're close to him. He's quite the scheming little devil and despite his mature looks, he's quite childish and clingy to his sister when he wants something. But it's just so he can use her and turn her against the rest, he's like that a lot. He was known in his high school days to be a playboy but whether he still acts that way is unknown, he is just as wise as his sister but because of his laid back attitude, he isn't as snobby as her.
• Biography: Just look at Marie's bio, it's the same~
• Likes: Ice cream (especially mint choc chip and mango), mangoes, reading, sitting alone, devising plans, breaking up relationships...any kind will do, hiding, his sister, useful people and being a 'wolf'.
• Dislikes: 'Innocent' people, people disturbing his reading time, loosing someone close to him, hinderances to a plan, when things don't go as he thought they would, loud noises, surprisingly spiders...and last but not least, strawberries...he doesn't like them...
• Fears: He has a fear of spiders, yup, he can't stand them, He can look at them but only for so long and if they come running near him, he'll hug the nearest person and expect them to protect him. Such a wuss...

• Personality: Patience is the best term to describe Cyrus. Unlike many young men his age who prefer to romp around and party, Cyrus preferred to stay at home away from such raucous behavior. In other words he is the number one party pooper of his generation. He tends to be a misanthrope because of certain events in his past and thanks to that he has very little social skills with people outside of his family. He prefers to be a listener rather than joining into a conversation unless he needs to (which happens to be very rare). There are times when he is in a conversation that he replies back with a snarky or a sarcastic comment. This happens to be a general reaction when he doesn't want to talk (this happens all the time). Cyrus can get attached to someone very easily and will be overprotective of them. This has only happened once before in his life considering he doesn't strike up a conversation with many people whatsoever.
• Biography: Cyrus spent his early years in London with his birth parents, living a cheerful and luxurious life. His parents didn't believe in spoiling their child and did their best to teach him life lessons necessary for his future. Because of their unending love Cyrus was a happy go-lucky boy without a worry in the world, until a fateful night where his life was turned over around. An electrical fire began within their home and spread quickly, only allowing the seven year old Cyrus and his mother to escape first. Cyrus would still have had one parent alive if his mother hadn't run back into the house to search for his father.
Cyrus was escorted to the hospital with little injury physically. His mental state was a different matter. He stayed in a shallow coma for a week and upon wakening, asked for his parents. Within minutes Cyrus discovered his parents died from the fire. He reacted violently right away, going as far as locking himself inside the hospital room to keep others away. Originally the hospital staff planned on keeping him for a week until his behaviour deteriorated to the point he was hospitalized for four years.
During his stay Cyrus remained silent as he refused to speak with doctors and continuously attacked nurses when approached. Staying mute and unsociable made the doctors fear the worst for the child during his stay.
If it hadn't been for Eva Cuthbert, Cyrus would have been transferred to a mental facility. The Cuthberts, a homely elderly couple, stumbled upon the boy while making a visit to the head director. They immediately thought it was best to take Cyrus under their wing after hearing his story, and filed the papers for his release. It took awhile but finally Cyrus arrived at the Cuthberts home.
Right away Cyrus retreated into a room that was made for him and holed himself up there. Despite the Cuthberts desperate pleas he refused to go outside that door. A week later though, a soft knock sounded on his door which revealed to be Eva, a girl around his age. Taking small steps she made attempts to get along with Cyrus, all the while speaking to him in a gentle tone. After a month of spending time with Eva, Cyrus finally left his room.
He still stayed mute except towards Eva (his voice was still small and quiet though). Wherever Eva went, Cyrus was with her. The two of them developed a special bond, the bubbly, strong-headed girl and the silent, protective boy. Over the years they defended each other, especially on Cyrus' end. He took care of a few bullies or two without Eva's knowledge. They could never be separated, and thanks to Eva, Cyrus finally began to live again even though he couldn't be the way he was before the fire.
A few months after his seventeenth birthday, Cyrus and Eva were on a boat celebrating the fact that they were accepted by a university in Japan. At this point Cyrus had developed a crush on Eva and started to confess his feelings for her, but a sudden jolt sent him overboard into the water. Right away he began to flail and gasp for air. He didn't know how to swim. When he felt himself going under the water again, someone grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him up, keeping him above the surface. He was pulled onto the boat after several minutes had gone by. Cyrus regained consciousness within moments, noticing there was someone missing amongst the crowd on the boat. Eva.
Eva had jumped in after him and kept him afloat, but by the time they had pulled Cyrus onto the deck, Eva had disappeared underneath the waves. A search was conducted for weeks, but no trace of Eva ever came up. Cyrus mourned for his friend and retreated within himself once again, keeping away from everyone except for the Cuthberts.
Right after his graduation, Cyrus moved to Japan to attend the university he was accepted to and has lived there ever since.

• Fears: Deep, deep pools of water. Cyrus has panic attacks when he's in the water and thanks to that he freezes up with the thought that he's going to drown.

• Extra?: Cyrus holds onto a picture of himself and Eva from when they were younger, right before the accident.

This power may not seem much but if your opponent is the type to think whilst attacking then this power is perfect. The power to read minds may throw the contractor off the track since if people found out about the ability to read minds, they could think up a lie. But the ability to read hearts is an upside as it reveals the true intentions of the opponent or anyone in particular. It also reveals any emotions the opponent feels towards either the contractor or anyone.
• Personality: Noah is very quiet and shy, he tries to involve himself in social situations but if he gets startled he will panic and look for the nearest escape route. Apart from this if you can get him to stay calm long enough to get to know him he is very kind and selfless, he will try to help to the best of his ability.
• Biography: Noah originally comes from Britain, he was always the quiet somewhat shunned child no matter where he was reading and playing video games to escape into a "better" world. Once he entered college he began a change a started to study Japanese. after he hit 19 he moved out and soon heard the rumors of the Regalia family and tried to contact them
