Jadus was not one for traveling. She hated the fact that she was never allowed to stay in one place for too long, but with her job it was impossible to call a place home. The show must go on, at least that's what the rest of her caravan always chanted, but she couldn't care less about that either. All the Ista really wanted was a quiet life with a home she could actually call hers. Fat chance that one was though.
With all the festivals they were doing as of late, she would be lucky to even get a moment to sit down and eat, let alone relax. As it was they were doing several shows back to back for everyone in the main city and would have absolutely no time to themselves. It's not like this was an uncommon thing for her, but sometimes she just wanted to pull her mane out with how frustrating everything was.
"Maybe something wonderful will happen and I won't have to perform. That would be great," she muttered to herself, brushing a hand through her hair.
As good as she was at performing, she always got nervous doing it. Right before performances were always the worst. She always felt sick right before performing and it never failed no matter how many remedies she tried. There had only been one time when she hadn't been sick before a performance, but that was a long time ago in a time she tried to forget. Shaking her head, she forced herself to focus on more important things, but her thoughts kept drifting to a time when she could actually enjoy life with a very interesting Gwilith stallion she had known when she was a young mare.

Sun blinding the eyes of the Gwilith as he landed, Octultus took measure of the beginning of activities. A Stage was set, a crowd was gathered and the head of the local knighthood looked to Octultus rather than his own ranks to fill the ranks of those needed to watch over the public spectacle.
The travelers had come from afar to the main city, and it took a long time for himself to fly in from the North, where his home was now located. he hated leaving in the winter months, with the weather so temperate and unpredictable int he mountains. But a friend had asked, so he had come.
He wished a familiar face would appear and take his mind off of his daughter, Lillum, who was likely getting herself into trouble int he name of his sacred guild, with a great sigh he began to patrol the borders of the crowd.

Jadus grumbled, her thoughts still on her old friend. It was no use thinking about him now. She had no idea where he was, or if he was even still alive. For all she knew he was married and living a happy, normal life unlike her. She had no mate or home to go back to, just life on the road. Closing her eyes for moment she attempted to calm herself, but of course when one closes their eyes they tend to run into things. Which is exactly what she did.
She ran into something or someone head on, and the impact from it completely knocked the breath from her and made her tumble to the ground. Her eyes snapped open as she saw a flash of yellow from above her, but ignored it as she tried to catch her breath and steady herself.
(OOC: Kind of short, I know, but I'm still trying to figure things out with her. ^^')

His eyes finally adjusted to the sun's position and he stopped squinting, looking at her colors so rich and cold. She was like a sparkling diamond and as brilliant in hue as himself.
"Apologies Miss, are not necessary," he let her hand go with a hint of hesitation, wanting to make sure her head was on straight after the fall. Being an Ista he was sure she would be alright, or that the healers in the troupe would tend to her.
He shook his head, mentally berating himself for not introducing himself before.
"I am a Knight of the Realm, Lady, and am at your service," he bowed his head with his hand over his heart in typical Dispassionate Watcher fashion. He returned his gaze to her for a moment, not sure if he felt alright continuing his duties while she seemed so helpless...
His code would not let him leave her side until she was absolutely ready to do so and could take care of herself. For all he knew she had knocked her horn , which he figured would be painful, or perhaps lost her bearing entirely? He was not sure and waited for response before speaking again.

"There's no need to worry about me, sir. A knight such as yourself is bound to have duties more important than helping someone like me," Jadus smiled, unable to take her eyes off of his masculine form.
She knew she shouldn't ogle, but it was so hard not to with his brilliant coloring and very muscular frame. Her head throbbed slightly, alerting her to the bump she had received while falling, but she refused to acknowledge it and make herself look weak in front of the stunning stallion.
"I am a performer, but I suppose that one was obvious," she laughed lightly, trying to think of something more to say to him. She still had that feeling that she knew him from somewhere, and the more she spoke to him the more she was certain they had met each other before. If she did bring it up though and he in fact didn't know her, she would feel incredibly dumb. Perhaps she would just keep it to herself and wait for him to say something if he did know her.
(OOC: Well I'm glad you think I'm not a bad fit. I really like her. heart )

Jadus blushed as more eyes fell on them, moving a little closer to him to try and hide herself from the view of onlookers. She was a performer, but that didn't mean she had to like it or anything. Realizing he had actually said something to her, she looked up at him and smiled hesitantly, embarrassed that she hadn't been paying attention to him.
"I'm sorry. What were you saying?" she questioned softly, looking around her to see where he had led her. The stage was in front of her now, and she couldn't help but sigh at the sight of it.
Here goes another panic attack.
She could already feel herself growing more nervous at the mere sight of the stage, let alone thinking about performing. Her hands began to shake uncontrollably as her head throbbed more, making her groan as she clutched it. So maybe she wasn't as okay as she thought she was. The pain was enough to make her want to fall over, but still she refused to say anything.
