[PRP] Settling In (Momozono x Bamba Ndoto)

Rolling around on her back, Momozono still felt a little awkward in her new pride. It was to be expected, coming somewhere new without knowing anyone to feel a little out of place at first. It was comfortable sort of awkward, though, and Momo knew that she'd feel like she fit right in in no time at all. At least she had Vanellus here with her; otherwise, life would just kinda...suck.

Crossing her paws contently on her chest, she looked around for the mostly-brown bird. He was never far off from her, and he'd been sticking especially close ever since they first arrived here. She assumed it was mostly because he didn't want her to slip up and do something wrong, but part of her wondered if he was feeling the same awkwardness that she was.

Well, they'd just have to meet a few other pride members, now, wouldn't they?

"Van!" Spotting him just a few yards off, she could see that she got his attention. He gave her a sharp glance, and she just giggled at him. In case they did end up meeting someone, she didn't want him to be too far off.

Also being quite new to the pride, and definitely a friendly sort of fellow, Bamba Ndoto was eager to get out and meet people. However, the pride lands were big, and aimless wandering around hadn't actually given him many results so far. Until just now! He heard her before he saw her, as she called to her bonded.

His own avian companion was fluttering around nearby, and Bamba would look to make sure he was still about every now and then. Tototl was a cheerful little thing, and would probably enjoy meeting new people just as much as Bamba. So the lion trotted in the direction of the lioness, lying on her back, once he spotted her. So as to not startle her by getting too close all of the sudden, he called from a respectable distance away. "Hello there!"

Wiggling her toes happily, Momo could feel her heart jump a little as the sound of another's voice called out towards her. Was it for her? It was for her, right?

Pushing her head up, she peered past her chest, looking around excitedly for whoever it was that spoke. Glancing back at Vanellus for a moment, she was almost looking for approval from him to get up and approach the other; she was still so uncertain in her movements here.

"Ah! Hello hello!" Finally deciding to get up, she rolled onto her side, finally seeing the black and white body of the lion that called to her. Oh, what a pretty mane he had! Momo was almost a bit jealous of the cascading colors; it was like a pretty sunrise.

Her delayed response was initially a bit amusing as she first looked for him, then back at her bonded. But Bamba wasn't the sort to laugh at anyone about things like that, so he didn't. She came around in the end, and as long as he wasn't making her feel bad all was good. He closed the distance by trotting over, distractedly shaking out his mane once without realizing she had been admiring it.

"Hey there!" He offered his best friendly smile, because it just wouldn't do to give one of his first encounters here a bad impression. "My name is Bamba Ndoto! It's nice to meet you."
