I've never really carried one. I tried, but the ones I picked out were too small and dainty.
And now I kinda need one to accommodate this wallet I just bought.
I actually bought this bag when I bought the wallet, but I'm a derp and didn't read the dimensions; I expected it to be about half the size that it is and I don't like it. (Woo buying things on clearance and therefore not being able to return them.. )
Now I kinda want this one but I'm not sure and realizing that the dimensions actually mean nothing to me and I can't tell if it's the size I'd like.

Here's what I've been using recently. It's ok. I got it from Target, and it's made by their Merona brand.


Here's the one I used for almost two years straight. The magnet clasp broke so it no longer fastens shut. I kinda want to use this again, but I'm not comfortable with no way to close it.

I have like five. D: They're not all with me. I have a cute black ruffley hobo bag, a yellow leather tote, a floral pattern brown satchel with a big buckle, a brown leatherette hobo bag, and a gray leatherette bag with fringes.

I raaaarely carry a purse. Only if I'm going to like an all-day runaround thing where I don't want to keep phone/wallet/keys/brush or hairtie/possible camera stuffed in pockets. Or if it's good good weather and I'm going somewhere all day running around. But in general I never got into really girly things and carrying a purse had a really girly connotation to me.

When I do it's usually a small messenger bag type deal.

i don't use that anymore. my phone and cigarettes alone probably wouldn't even fit in it.

i have a grey/cream vertical striped canvas backpack and a tan coloured satchel type suede/leather bag for carting stuff about uni. i have a little black cross-body bag that i use for quick trips or just a lecture, it fits my notebook snugly... i also have a brown one of the same style, both leather. and there's my cream leather weekend bag which i use for coming back and forth on the trains, it's deceptively large. i have a lot of other bags but i rarely use them, they're either worn out, stained or less versatile. lots of broken zips and frays etc. i never find time to fix them but i can't throw them away.
