Changed the link. IGN video is exactly the same, except it actually shows what Sonic's super form will be.
IMO, it could've been way better.

I did promise myself and Sega I would give Sonic one last ry before giving up completely.
It seems roughly playabale and not torturous.

Wow. Sega knows how to make a cool trailer. I'm SO glad they took the stupid singer out of that song though. Sounds way less cheesy.
And yeah the super form's not traditional, but at least it's appropriate, and strays from the whole super saiyan ripoff thing for once. And hey, since it's shown in the trailer maybe we'll actually be able to play as him in a level other than the last one.
I'd like to see a little more running, but it's probably just the trailer trying to show off the sword action. And it looks like you can run past enemies if you want.
