The blue feet that slowly walked forward on the path towards Raken and Dyas' cave faltered every once in awhile. "This is stupid. I can't tell her." Azure muttered to himself as he turned around to walk home. He had been practicing what he was going to say to Dyas all morning looking at his reflection in the water. "No, I have to at least see her or she'll know something is wrong." Azure convinced himself as he turned 180 degrees once again to start walking ever closer to the cave. "Hi Dyas. Its Azure, do you remember me?... Of course she remembers you, ya idiot." Azure continued to practice a speach he was trying to work out in his head. "So you seeing anyone. No, I'm not interested in... Azure! You can't say that, you kissed her, she kissed you. What does that mean?" Azure stopped talking to himself as he closed in on the entrance, he didn't want anyone to overhear all his failures of telling Dyas that he was going out with her cousin Adora.

Dyas sat in the mouth of the cave, in her hands a thick book with golden lettering on the hard cover. It was a scientific book of course, explaining the complexity of plant life. After this book she got to read on animals. Behavior came after learning about their makeup. Raken then said maybe he'd take her for some feild research on naiads. A deep sigh as she closed her book, dual colored eyes moving to stare at the tree line infront of her. Study study study. It was all she did. Her head was crammed to the brink with knowladge she'd never be able to pass on. And she hadn't been able to read her recreational romance books anymore...They oddly made her sad. Her father said fantasy was bad for her mind and Horror sometimes gave her some weird dreams. Which left her with Mystery, which made her question a lot of things...Another sigh, the hybrid smoothly standing as she decided she should just go in and start up lunch

Azure's eyes caught sight of Dyas sitting in front of the cave and he took a big gulp. He still didn't want to tell her any of that stuff, but he wanted to be with her. Azure just didn't want to hurt anyone, and it seemed like that was impossible. He moved closer, planning to sneak up on her, but she stood up as if to go so Azure canceled the sneaky approach. "Dyas!" Azure called out to her, hoping she wouldn't go back into the cave. Once she was in the cave there was the possibility that he would also have to confront Raken, that Raken would ask him how he and Adora were, and worst of all that Dyas would find out that they were seeing eachother. Azure ran towards the cave to be closer but stopped a short distance away in case Raken was around.

'Dyas!' Her eyes snapped into focus and to the right, slowly locking onto the form of...of...Azure. She brightly smiled, holding her book to her chest. The female slowly lifted a hand in greeting, taking a hesitant step forwards. Then he stopped. Ah... her father. She glanced inside, making sure all was clear before setting down the book, and walking over to the male. Her pace increased to a jog, her silky hair swaying slightly from the momentum. The female slowed as she neared him, walking right into him for a hug. Okay...so...she missed him. So sue her. She thought he wasn't coming back until she was an adult with his usual 'visit per stage' thing.

Azure waved back, a wave that was kind of silly, it didn't seem right to meerily wave back. When she jogged towards him, with the way her hair shimmered as it swayed, Azure had to put his hand under his chin to keep his jaw from dropping. He contented himself with simply gulping, why had he come here again? It was amazing how Dyas made him seem to just forget about everything except for her. At first Azure didn't hug Dyas back, he was still in shock that she would hug him, but slowly his arms moved around her to hug her back. It was a simple innocent hug, nothing wrong with that. "Hi Dyas." Azure smiled gently at her.

She of course didn't notice how he looked as she ran, simply content with hugging him, even if he didn't hug her back. A breath she hadn't known she was holding slipped from her when he moved his arms around her too, a sense of relief filling her heart. Her grip tightened breifly before she pulled away, smiling back. The female wanted to ask how he was, how was Trager, what he had been up to...but lacked the words to do so. So she smiled, letting her arms slip back until her fingers brushed his shoulders. Her hands fell away then, one lifting to point to him, then to her smile. She was happy to see him.

Azure was now at the awkward moment when he remembered why he was here, but he looked at Dyas. She looked so beautiful and so happy to see him. He couldn't possibly tell her anything. "You... you look great." Azure told her when she pulled out of the hug. "Its good to see... I'm happy to see you too." Azure was stumbling all over the place, consumed with guilt from the secrets he held onto. He took a deep breath, hoping that the rest of their time together wouldn't end up like this. "Are you doing alright?" Azure asked Dyas.

She softly blushed before mentally kicking herself. What was she doing, he was no doubt talking about her health or something. Like 'you look well'. The female nodded a touch shyly, her hand guesturing lightly at him to return the question. Her mind chose at that moment then to remind her about...her kiss. Well...her kiss...es...She suddenly ached to ask about...well...adora. What had he decided? Were they now...dating? The word seemed to drip with distaste and saddness in her mind. Then again, did she really want to know? Adora was the daughter of the Fae of Love. She'd catch Azures heart so fast...Her fingers curled as she pulled her hand to her chest. Don't think about it.

Azure watched Dyas curiously, "Oh yeah, I'm doing... great." Azure suddenly wished he didn't ask how she was because that could only lead to her returning the question, and Azure was not doing great at all. He was an emotional wreck and a hormonal hurricane. "I just came to visit you, I missed you." Azure admitted to Dyas. He noticed her hand move up to her chest. "Dyas... whats wrong?" His voice was gentle and soothing as he was concerned about her.

Sweet...She nodded slightly, smiling softly to show she missed him too. The smile instantly vanished. Like she could tell him, even if she was physically able to. What good would it do for her to know anyway? She'd just get upset...and and...why would she get jealous? It wasn't like she 'loved' him. The dictionary said as much. Slowly she crouched down to the ground, her hand uncurling from her chest for her index finger to trace in the dirt, upside down of course for azure to read. W a n t t o g o s o m e w h e r e?

Times like this made Azure hate the language barrier between him and Dyas. He didn't hate Dyas, it wasn't her fault, just that she couldn't talk. That was one of the biggest differenced between her and Adora. Azure read what Dyas wrote. "Yeah of course we can go somewhere." he thought it was the perfect idea too. Azure was afraid that Raken would come out at any moment, it would be good to get away. He offered his hand to Dyas to help her up from her crouched position so that they could walk somewhere. "You lead the way?"

She smiled a little more, slipping her hand into his. Slowly she stood and nodded, a soft blush on her cheeks again. The female kept her hand on his as she moved towards the forest, gently leading him away. She never knew why it felt so right to her, it was just...natural. Comforting. Sort of like when she hugged him.

Azure smiled at her, trying to make holding her hand as innocent as possible. They were just children skipping through a field holding hands, or at least that was the thought Azure put in his mind since they were neither children nor skipping through a field. "Have any more secret spots?" he asked her curiously with a laugh. Though he could remember the last secret spot they went to had a good few memories. Azure had to be careful not to be to close or distant with Dyas, and it was hard because so many things he wanted to do that felt so natural he couldn't because he was supposed to be with Adora.

She paused at the question, looking over her shoulder at him slightly. Well...she was just going to take him to the river again, or HQ. But now that he mentioned it...She held up a finger, allowing a small smile on her face. One. The female started walking again, only angling a bit more to the left. Down the river.

Azure was about to playfully ask Dyas why she wouldn't tell him where they were going, but he quickly remembered there was a reason. "Keeping it a surprise, eh?" Azure asked her, that sounded more polite. Azure was curious about where they were going. It was very true they could be going nowhere special, but he wanted to know where anyways.
