Title waves crash and roar against the giant boulders that make up Jeska Bay. Lightning paints the sky and a heavy rain pours giant drops of salty warm water down on the pier that stretched out into what seemed to be an endless body of water, The Sea of Rebut. The peir was around forty feet wide by three hundred (( pirate )) feet long, the top standing only ten feet from the crashing waves. On both sides of the long, creaky peir jutted up jagged rocks, obsidian in color and structure... they were almost inviting. At the end of the giant peer stood a tall Lightning Rod, designed to keep fisherman safe from bolts while fishing during storms.

Jeska beach is a wasteland of dead whale bones and the smell of rotting scales upon more obisidian rocks and jagged edges. It would be rare to find a flat surface amongst the rocks on the beach, while the pier was just a giant slab(s) of concrete.

The scene would almost look as if Zues and Poisidon had chosen this once quiet and dangerous beach into a battle fields of the gods.

-----------------------------------------------

Onlookers would see a tall, structured figure standing in the middle of the pier, arms crossed, it almost seemed as if he was waiting for someone. The tall Hellspawn would be wearing his usual attire; complete with no shirt, a black elegant coat, black boots and black pants. A Dark Steel Long Sword dangled at his side emiting a violet glow. He remained, emotionless, motionless, and completely quiet as he simply stood amongst the crashing waves and fierce lightning.

Turbulent skies crashed and lighting tore holes through the atmosphere, only to have them forcefully shut with a series of resounding shots. Hairs all across the body rose on end as a stream of lightning jagged down to smash into the lightning rod, drawn down and away into oblivion, though the hairs would not fall. From the corner of the eye the periphreal vision would catch movement in each flash in the skies above, but there would exist nothing to actually see. One flash and a behemoth stood directly across from Taigeku, huge arms out to the side as a metallic whirring filled the air. By the time the light had faded, so too did the mechanical behemoth, leaving the Hellspawn alone once again. When finally the next flash came a single box no larger than one's palm lay where the behemoth had been. The small device was decorated with a bright orange ribbon -quite sparly and shiny with all the fun lightning- and was tied in a large bow. A tag emerged from the bow that read "Eat Me," which had been crossed out and replaced with "Drink Me," and then replaced once again with tiny letter off to the side which sloppily spelled out "Press Me." Apparently whoever had left the remote wasn't one to be wasteful.

As the behemoth appeared and disappeared, Taigeku closed his eyes and opened them, as if he blinked for a second longer than most do. As he did so, Taigeku focused his telepathic abilities to track where the behemoth had disappeared to by tracing his brainwaves, even if the creature wasn't susceptable to brain wave manipulation, Taigeku would still be able to essentially 'see' his location. As Taigeku opened his eyes, they came to rest upon some remote with a bow tagged "Press me." Taigeku wasn't one to fall for traps, he learned this while facing Jonas Vexic (( talk2hand )) but curiousness killed the Hellspawn, so Taigeku focused his psychokinetic prowess on Spada, his Dark Steel long sword and willed it out of its sheath and gently over, to the remote, pressing whatever buttons seemed prevelent with the tip of the sword. It was a wonder the ink from the bow wasn't running in the mass amount of rain fall, or if the remote had been water damaged. Ah well, it didn't matter. Taigeku would remain in the middle of the pier, arms crossed and the wind sweeping past his now soaked black, longish hair.

The behemoth was just gone, totally and utterly gone, as though he had not existed in the firstplace, not even leaving behind a psychic impression on reality. Maybe Taigeku was just going totally batshit insane or something, I mean seriously, what Behemoth? The single rather large button on the top would sure be visible, and once depressed a voice would float through the air, oddly reminiscent of a video game, "LOCATION CONFIRMED. SENDING SUPPLIES." The remote, bow, card, and all, crumpled away into oblivion and suddenly the rain stopped.

Wait, the rain stopped?

Eyes cast to the skies would reveal a break in the clouds, quickly growing to reveal a giant sphere hanging in the skies. Arcs of lightning reached up towards it, drawn into the giant metallic structure and revitallizing the decaying alloys on the surface used as armor. A slight pop filled the air as if something had been launched, but to hear it so far down and before anything apparently left the sphere was quite odd in of itself. Even more godawfully random was the shards of concrete flying everywhere, coming from nowhere to collect around where the remote had been and then disappear entirely. The biggest grand showcase of chaos had to have been the rush of wind that suddenly drew in towards the spot with a sort of reverse-shockwave with enough force to throw a normal man several hundred yards.

Of course, it wouldn't be so god damn random once a three foot diameter cyllinder twenty feet long slammed down into the spot where the remote had been with enough force to put it down into the crust about a half mile. Of course, it helped explain things when the shockwave, cement chips, and the like all happened again, this time going the right way.

As the pier seemed to be ruptured by some sort of Star Fox-ish supply unit, Taigeku would feel a great wind against him and would phase incorpreal, just before the concrete shards could make their ways towards him. A slight tilt of Taigeku's head imposed curiousity as the cement shards rocketed through him. Seeminly careless, Taigeku waited until everything was calmed, and the cement shards and wind had stopped blowing before returning to his material state. He stood on a medium sized portion of rock, one that hadn't been demolished by this drop shipment, of sorts.

But dammit, Taigeku had lost his sword.

Without being able to trace the behemoth, Taigeku relaxed his telekinetic energy and waited near the cylinder for it to do something, anything, before he started hurling boulders at it, to wake whatever was inside up. Never the less, Taigeku stood ready, but wait... something was different. The rain was gone? A cocking of a stupid eyebrow would be suitable.

The skies began to clear and the bright light of the sun started to warm the earth, bringing forth a new Genesis befitting of the man to come. From the crater and half a mile deep hole created by the cyllinder flowers begin to spring up. Each blossom turn towards the sun, razor sharp and spreading in a fluid tide of what appeared to be a sort of steel. The tide expanded to repair the damage that had been done and render the area in the likeness of a verdant field, albeit in steel tones with the slightest hints of emerald and flame. For several long moments the fluid grasses and flowers waiver in the wind in a mockery of the Prime. High above the skies finally clear and the superfluous moon retreats into oblivion with its task of regulating meteorological events complete.

And then the world dies.

Facimilies of flora wither and die, turning to dust that carries away in a black wind to dance around Taigeku. Nothing seems real, even to the most accute senses working in all but the fourth dimension, exclusively. Ripples upon the pond pass outward as ground plantlife clings to the boots of the man to come. Streams of blackness pull away from Tai to create a stark relief against pristine sands and flawless simulacrum of life. Long black horns curve from a skull only barely visible as black veins run down each arm where spectral hands grasp a mismatched pair of weapons. The right hand holds a slender mace arrayed in black with vicious tendrils of darkness Tainting the man's unformed digits. Sleek black lightning is barely contained at the fingertips of his left hand, focused into the shape of an oversized handgun, heavily modified from the 9mm Glock it had once been. As his voice danced across the solemn simulacrum of steel the ripples followed, "...can you hear it? The cry of the divine wind."

Taigeku merely stood there, taking in the bizzare events taking place around him. As the flowers grew, and the sun made its enterance, Taigeku tilted his head downwards slightly. The sun bothered him, no, it wasn't like a Vampire whom the sun would melt their skin and turn them into a smelly dust; he had just been living in Hell- eternal "darkness," as one would say. The only bit of light his blackened eyes had scene were those of fire, whether torch or ignition of flesh. Never the less, as Taigeku turned his head down, he shifted his eyes upward, staring at the man forming between him through his eyebrows. Taigeku took in his features; the mace- which resembled the Mace of Virgil, the malformed Glock in his opposite hand.

The psionist had quite the battle ahead of him.

Taigeku attempted to reach a telepathic link between the two, it this was possible; Taigeku could find out more about his opponent- weaknesses, strengths, fears. Another extended blink took place as he focused, the halo above his head recharging his energy expended from phasing incorpreal moments ago. Taigeku didn't ready his stance, he didn't take precautionary movements, he simply stood before the man, arms crossed with a emotionless glare continuing upon his face.

With no safeguards against mental intrusion the link was quickly established and solidified into a strong bond. In all, Tacitus seemed to be highly receptive to telepathic and empathic connections, likely brought on by his sybmiosis with his trio of weapons. He appeared to fear fresh donuts, but other than that he was apparently entirely human in terms of capabilities, which seemed wrong when one considered he's a bloody Time Lord, or that he himself did not hold his power. Ethereal clothing and incoporeal flesh filled out into this world, the Overseer's skin tone becoming clear in the light of the sun. His black tee, gunmetal trenchcoat, and emerald pants contrasting against grimy handwraps, lightly frosted ashen hair and a wide visor tinted a bright green. Without any further delay he begins to raise his firearm...

...and a truck shoulder checks Tai from his right.

Ok, so it wasn't really a truck, just our old friend the Behemoth. Damnedest thing, though, is that when it got near, though near was a relative term seeing as it started five feet from the man going at about sixty miles per hour, it'd just up and vanish. Even psychic abilities grounded in precognition would be unaware of the behemoth, and once it was gone there would be absolutely no trace of it. As his voice danced across the solemn simulacrum of steel the ripples followed, "...can you smell it? The cooking of The Rock." Apparently Tacitus was ******** around with the man now, his firearm still only angled up fourty-five degrees.

With outstanding force to his right shoulder and arm, Taigeku is hurled away by the behemoth, flying towards the left and near the edge of the crumbling pier. As Taigeku was checked, a deep grunt echoed through the area, and he focused his psychoportive manipulation to phased incorpreal before hitting the ground. If he couldn't have avoided the initial contact, might as well eliminate the second- the ground. As Taigeku phased, he would sink perhaps a half of a foot into the pier before rising up and to his feet very swiftly. As he phased back to join Tacitus in the material world, Taigeku would be only a foot or two away from the crashing waves and jagged obsidian rocks that illustrated Jeska beach. Once he was near the edge, he focused his psychokinetic prowess to pick up shards and granulets of obsidian and form them into a crude blade which quickly placed itself in Taigeku right hand. The blade was roughly two foot long in total, short yes, but it wasn't each to chip away obsidian. Never the less, he needed something for a blink behemoth and a man with a large gun.

Somethings wrong...

Taigeku's eyes shifted about, trying to decifer whether or not the behemoth would return while keeping peripherals on Tacitus, in case of a head on attack instead of a flank.

Tai would find his psychic abilities lacking as he tried to return to a solid state and then create for himself a blade, as his mind seemed incredibly focused on reading the thoughts and capabilities of Tacitus. In fact, he would find himself unable to break the mental link between himself and the strange man, probably not even after a lobotomy performed on either party. Oh what fun he would have, his brain unwillingly rifling through catalogues of stale doughnuts and studying just how human Tacitus was. There was not a significant drain as yet, but any psychic worth his salt would notice it right quick.

Oh, and cue the truck.

The Behemoth appeared once again, coming from behind Tai.

And to the left of Tai.

And to the right of Tai.

Rushing in just an inch off the ground they would rush up to crush the poor lad and then simply cease to be in that brief moment before they were intended to make contact. With all that was going on all at once it would be noted that, while not necessarily blatantly obvious, that each Behemoth did not touch the ground and did not ripple the metal ground, in addition to not showing up to any sense but sight. A smirk danced on Tac's lips as he hefted the mace, allowing it to slowly rise as a dark light appeared behind his visor. As his voice danced across the solemn simulacrum of steel the ripples followed, "...can you feel that? Huh, can you captain-com-post?" His new taunt was complete with hip thrusts and an imitation of a particular movie character's voice and inflection.

A confused look would cross Taigeku's face as he found difficulty in performing simple mental tasks. He shook his head slightly, then smiled. As he would not be able to break the connection between Tacitus, he could use this to his advantage.

Taigeku's eyes would shift to his left, as he saw one of the three behemoths rushing towards him, he did what little he could do in time, punching towards the behemoths nose... then it was gone. Dammit.

He began to concentrate on a mental attack. Taigeku would begin sending a subconscience message to Tacitus' mind, Tacitus would just read it as a variation of numbers and stange encodings. What he wouldn't know, is that Taigeku was telling Tacitus' brain a message that his nerves were sensing injury to his entire body. Tacitus would begin to feel a dull warmth over all of his epidermis, progressively turning into a slightly painful itch. Taigeku gazed at Tac with dark, wide eyes as he concentrated more and more. The process would be slow, but within a few minutes, Tacitus would feel as though he was burning alive.

As the mental connection continued a strange clicking sound would rise from Tac's left side, increasing in frequency and intensity in time with the projected path of the subconscious influence on his brain. His body seemed to fade and he looked as though he was incredibly pain as the black veins surging through his body burned with a dark light through his fading skin. The mad clicking became quite clear, registering as the sound of a handgun trying to fire from an empty clip. The connection persisted between the mind of Taigeku and Tacitus, growing in intensity as the Overseer drew forth more psychic capacity from Tai, beyond the hellspawn's own concentrated effort.

The ground around his feet stopped rippling.

A loud crash echoed just next to Tai as the behemoth finally allowed a single foot to make contact with the metallic landscape. A moment later the armored man would barrel through Tai, with very few things physically capable of slowing his momentum. In the Behemoth's right hand he now carried a huge mace with wicked black tendrils extending up his arm and a variety of metals twisted into the shape of a skull. The left hand hefted what would be an assault rifle in the hands of a normal man, but held by the power armor seemed to be proportioned slightly on the smaller side. Brilliant lines of orange light flared from seams and joints down the sides of the massive rifle, though Tacitus saw fit to use neither weapon. Back where he had been standing his image smiled, his voice staggered as though the image were malfunctioning, "TaStE iT, b***h."
PostPosted: Mon Sep 24, 2007 6:18 pm
As Taigeku heard the giant metal foot, crash on the ground, he grunted; "s**t." The others hadn't made contact with the ground... this one had. Just as the giant crashed into his left side, Taigeku attempted to make the initial contact, and roll away against the behemoth's back. As he rolled, the momentum of the creature was far to great to walk away from, making him stumble backwards, almost losing his balance completely. As he began to stumble, Taigeku hurled the obsidian short sword from his right hand at the behemoth's back, using what little psychokinetic prowess he could to boost it foward and aim it at the middle of the behemoth's lower back. The tip would be rocketing nearly 40mphs at the unexpecting giant as he regained his footing nearly fifteen feet away from the now material beast.

His eyes snapped over to the flickering Tac and cringed in disgust at his aching shoulder and back. As he kneeled, he focused more on the mental attack.

The obsidian blade shattered as it struck the metal armor and could go no further when confronted with the Temporal Steel variant built into the Judicator armor. He straightened up and his voice boomed through the area, amplified by the PA system built into the power armor, also transmitting to Genesis, "Temporal Overseer submitting requisition for Annalis Weapon System. Authorization 3746514." The moment he was done speaking a blinding flash ran down his back, the head of a massive war hammer clearly evident as the haft of two maces then rose from his shoulders. Sparks of electricity danced from the head of the massive hammer, dancing over the Judicator armor and electrifying the surface.

And then it stopped.

As though the Judicator Armor had been frozen in time, all motion around it ceased, and so too did the ripple on the ground around it. The flickering form of Tacitus remained as such, drawing forth ever more focus from Tai while the clicking sound around him continued to increase in intensity. Now, however, another flicking form took shape out over the waters upon a platform of orange light. Pale green hair that was quickly heading to the gray Tacitus currently sported whipped in the wind, his horns but mere studs nestled within his hairline. Green flames adorned his black shirt and he wore no trench coat, off-white hand wraps tightly coiled around his hands, though they continued to twitch against his will. Crossing his arms he reached behind him and slipped two maces down from a harness on his back. As he began to run forwards across the air the solemn simulacrum seemed to anticipate his coming, rippling idly on the edge near him. With a furious release of effort he spun and launched one of the two maces towards Tai with enough force to bury it in adamantine. One would hope he'd get his chest out of the way, if he could even think clearly with the flicker refocusing his mind for him.
