Shiro would smile and let Jake have his hand back. "I'm just being how I was raised to be." he said as he waited for Jake to lead the way to the bookstore. "What's your book about?" he asked.

Jake le the way out of the bookshop and down the block. He stopped at a little bookstore that was still opened and he went inside. "My book is about two lovers who have been in love for centuries,but they always get separated from each other. They've finally found each other and it's so good." Jake said with a sigh,his voice filled with passion.

"Two lovers who have loved one another for centuries?" Shiro asked. "Are they celestial beings of some kind?" he asked.

"I think more like they have loved each other in past lives and they are reincarnated every time they die,until they can be together for the rest of their lives." Jake led Shiro over to the fiction book and grabbed the book he was looking for. "Thank you for being so kind to me." Jake said softly.

"Do you think things like that can really happen?" Shiro asked as he looked at Jake. "You're also welcome, no one deserves to be harassed." he said, offering the other male a smile.  

[Captain tohru honda]

"I really don't know if that can actually happen,but I would think it would be really romantic. To have someone love you for so long." Jake sighed softly and smiled as he held the book. "Do you think something like that could happen?"

"To have someone love you, or for you to have loved them for so long as well." Shiro said. "I suppose it could be possible, I've read about a lot of people talking about their past lives, though nothing about that ever comes up for me. I've never put too much thought into it either." he finished as he walked with Jake to pay for the book.

Jake walked up to the counter and placed the book down. After it was bought,Jake walked back to the cafe with Shiro. "If I knew someone loved me for that long,I would be so happy. I've never had a boyfriend before and I just want to feel that experience." Jake said softly,his cheeks pink as he gazed at the floor.

Shiro would pay for the book and hand the bag to Jake. "I've never had a boyfriend either, I knew I wasn't into women when I was younger. My parents set me up on a blind date expecting me to want to marry the girl...it didn't work out, and I moved here shortly after." Shiro chuckled. "I'm sure you'll find your prince charming soon." he said, smiling as he and Jake sat together at the cafe.

Jake smiled as he sat and listened to Shiro. He felt like he could sit and talk with this man all night. "I really should get home. It's getting late.." Jake said trailing off. He didn't want to leave,but he had to go home and sleep for a little bit. He was also a bit hesitant at the thought of Jin and his gang jumping him.

"Would you like me to escort you just in case those thugs come back?" Shiro asked. "I might not look it, but I'm fairly decent in a fight if need be." he said.  

[Captain tohru honda]

"Yes..thank you." Jake said, a smile on his face. "I was afraid they might." Jake walked out of the cafe with Shiro,and sighed happily as Shiro walked him home. He felt safer and didn't see Jin and his gang anywhere near. "Well,this is my apartment building." Jake said as he stopped in front of a building. "I live on the first floor. I'm kind of glad."

"Is it safe enough, or shall I escort you to your door?" Shiro asked. "You can never know with thug types where they'll lurk." he finished, offering Jake a small smile.  

[Captain tohru honda]

"You are too kind. If you want,you can escort me to my door." Jake said and flashed a flirty smile in Shiro's direction. "You can come in,if you wish and we can have some tea."

"An offer for tea from you? How could I possibly refuse." Shiro said as he smiled back and walked towards Jack intent on going to his place now.
