Zachariah "Zach" Altstadt
"Do not fear me for who I am...
It was impossible to keep from chuckling at Vladimir's sudden fear of the two demons, and then the change of his demeanor from rude to submissive, all in the matter of moments... And now he had ultimately given himself up in servitude to Faust for the remainder of his life. How amusing. But, then the question was asked as to what entertainment lay in Ishten. "Well, I'll be honest in that I'm not native to the city either, but the Grand Marketplace seems to be the most bustling. Otherwise, it's just like any other city I've been to. Taverns, brothels, pubs. Typical." He shrugged after that, finding little interest in the prospect of anything in the Capital. No, he liked the crowds... all of their darkness...
... Fear me for what I may become."

Vladimir 'Necron' Umbra
Someday... Necron gave a broad smile at the sight of gold, an entire sack too! He was beginning to realize just how great the concept of working for Lord Faustus was. "Thank you for all the gold Lord Faustus. This is practically a fortune right here. I'm off to buy some new clothes among other things!" Necron then rushed off, losing himself in all the stores. He soon found himself looking at an expensive orange jacket. Believing it to be true beauty, he immediately purchased it, only to find it too large. Either way it was a beautiful piece of clothing that he now owned. Changing clothes, he smiled, switching the eyepatch he wore to the other eye. Neither eye was vision impaired, he just liked the eyepatch, it was his old man's before he killed him. Stuffing the remaining gold in his pocket, he ran to Lord Faustus and smiled broadly like an amused child. "So, what do you think!?"
I'll kill you all

Alruna Castillo
Come here darling...
Alruna had been wincing the entire way to Ishten. A small demon-like whimper escaped from her mouth. She blushed with embarrassment. Her side that had been burned felt like her entire side had been cut open. Walking past the guards was pretty easy, she used some of her illusion magic to blend in with a small crowd passing through. Finding Zachariah wasn't that hard either, some sort of a connection always brought her to him. Still, it never helped with her mood. She had to walk a good distance while she was injured to find him. Even when the demon had promise to meet her. What nerve! Finally picking him out the crowd, she sensed another demon presence near Zach. A rather fruity looking man had caught her attention, laughing extremely loud at some mere human. Walking up to Zach, she let out a soft sigh. "Making a succubus wait, especially one who is injured, is not very gentleman-like," she teased. Still, she had been quite frustrated with the demon on breaking her promise. Zachariah had never broken one...well at least in his past life. The man that he had been standing next to had almost given off such a powerful aura. Maybe he was a demon too? The succubus couldn't tell. Nor did she even give a care in the world. Zachariah was the one she wanted, only for her sanity and love.

"Do not fear me for who I am...
The young demon smiled slightly, upon seeing Vladimir show off his new jacket with childish glee. The garb hung loose on his shoulders, seeming to hide away his slender fingers and practically envelop the man... But otherwise, it was indeed a fine piece of clothing, worthy of boasting about. Perhaps he would make use of it come the winter days, when several layers of clothing insisted on a larger overcoat. The purchase was not entirely useless, and it made the man happy. Good for him.
Then, another presence stuck out to Zachariah's senses, causing him to look away from his two acquaintances. Of course, it was Alruna... and she seemed very frustrated, as well as injured. For a moment he sighed rather angrily, standing up to face the woman. Her remark didn't quite affext him, though he knew she was right about keeping up with one's promises. Nonetheless, it was obviously not sunset as of yet, so there was no need for her to come looking for him. If there was some sort of problem, surely Daniel would've helped her? Angels must've been just as untrustworthy. "Listen, Alruna, there's an hour until dark. I would've come sooner or later."
... Fear me for what I may become."

"Do not fear me for who I am...
Zachariah listened quietly to Alruna's explanation, expression hardened at the mention of their previous marriage. He knew that at one point in time they had been two hearts intertwined, but no matter how much past they had shared, he did not feel his stomach leaden, nor his heart tug in anticipation. He felt no true love. Sure, he felt the need to protect her and keep close, but... it was no use lying. Perhaps one day he would wish never to lay eyes on anything but her beauty, though that day was certainly not today...
Realizing that the succubus seemed rather hurt, Zachariah kneeled in front of the bench, facing her curiously."Forget it... Has your injury gotten worse?" If it had, then the most logical thing to do in this situation would be to take her to a medic or perhaps find someone who could heal. It would be fatal to let her bleed away without being tended to. If he was left optionless... he would find other, less traditional ways to heal her.
... Fear me for what I may become."

"Do not fear me for who I am...
Seeing that Alruna was obviously only getting worse in condition, the young demon sighed, gently placing a hand on her abdomen. When he removed that hand, it was covered entirely in her blood. It was bad... He knew that, before taking her anywhere, he should at least attempt to redo her bandaging. So, swiftly, he scanned the passing crowds for anyone wearing a scarf. He quickly found one, a woman who was covering her neck to be fashionable. The cloth was white, and seemed linen... He quickly raised a hand and manipulated her feet, so that she tripped, and then very carefully moved her scarf using another few jerks of his wrist. The scarf came to him quickly, and the woman was too afraid to ask for it back. Good.
Now that he had something to help with the bleeding, he very carefully started to wrap this new layer around the old one-- this was because he didn't want any foreign germs to directly touch her open flesh and infect it. Having that secured once more, he stood straight, holding out his arms as if he wanted a hug. "I'll carry you. We'll find a good doctor, and you'll be patched up in no time." He said quietly, glancing apologetically at Faust and Vlad. There was no need to explain himself, it was obvious that her health was imperative to him.
... Fear me for what I may become."

"Do not fear me for who I am...
Zachariah smirked a bit at Alruna, gently wrapping his arms about her body and then easily lifting her into his arms, holding her close. The blood had not yet leaked into the scarf-bandaging, so they would hopefully have time before the loss of the red substance caused her to become faint... Even then, he was sure whatever procedures she needed would be very expensive, and he had not enough money. Maybe, maybe it would be alright to use his power on the doctor. No one would know but the two of them, it would be simple and quick. By the time they would leave, his victim would forget who it was he patched up, and they would be home free. Yes yes, this plan would work nicely...
After that moment of pondering, Zach nodded at the white demon and his human companion, before slowly walking into the depths of Ishten. He lightly scanned the minds of those around him, searching for someone or something regarding a hospital. To his fortune, many of the people seemed to point him in the direction of a certain hidden building, known to be a doctor who took only nobility into his care. How easy... "Alright, Alruna. I'm going to have you fixed up nice and clean, and then we can rest for the night and be on our way." He said quietly, glancing down at her with a soft smile, before quickly making his way through the streets to that stuck-up doctor.
Very carefully, Zachariah opened the door using his telekinesis, squinting his eyes shut as he attempted to do so without moving his hands. It wasn't quite as easy, but he did it, and stepped inside. There sat a man who seemed to be in his late forties, with a balding head and some tufts of greying hair behind his ears. He was surprisingly fit for a man of his age, though there were distinct bags under his eyes... For a moment, the demon could not tell if this man were a doctor or a patient waiting to be taken in. But in a moment's passing, the answer was given that he indeed was the man they wanted. He raised a brow, surprised at the sight of the two, but soon saw the problem at hand. The woman was hurt... "I'm sorry but we're closed." He said slowly, seeming worn out and tired. Zachariah smirked, gently setting Alruna down on a chair nearby, before facing the older man. "You cannot lie so blatantly. You obviously don't know who we are... and that's fine and well, but it is truly disrespectful." His voice had suddenly taken the air of someone who had been raised in dignity and poise for several years, though he was but a farmer at heart. The man suddenly sat up straighter, as if just that sentence was enough to convince him the truth. Ah but that was a working of Zachariah's power. He had lifted his wrist ever so slightly, causing the doctor to be immovably rigid. Perfect. 'Now listen here. You're going to treat my wife, or I will have my finest after you. It's a simple wound, all you must do is treat it and perhaps do some stitching. Fail to help us, and I assure you this will be your last day in the kingdom.' He threatened, staring menacingly into the wide eyes of the doctor. He nodded slowly, not realizing that the message had been sent through the mind.
As Zachariah released the man of his sitting position, he scurried to Alruna, motioning for her to go into the back room. The demon walked over and simply carried her, taking her where she needed to be. 'See... you'll be fine.' He reassured, sending the message to Alruna instead of the doctor. Once she was laid on a metal table, the doctor got to work, finding his tools and quickly putting Alruna under sleep. With her unconscious, he was able to carefully remove the bandaging from her waist, and begin to clean the large scratches. The next step was for him to clean his own hands and tools, and then start to very carefully stitch her cuts closed. That took him a good half hour, but Zachariah had patience, knowing better than to rush him. He worked well, precise and tedious, just the kind of doctor he wanted for Alruna...
It felt like an eternity of applying salves, bandaging, stitches, and what else to the succubus' body, but soon she was fixed up. Zachariah smiled a bit, looking to the doctor, noticing a bead of sweat upon his shiny bald head. 'You have done well. Forget us, our existence, and the procedure you have completed today.' He stated quietly, raising a hand and putting it to the doctor's head. A small mist of darkness surrounded the touching skin, and then the man fell limp. Zachariah caught him, and carefully brought him to the seat he was in before. This would all be a dream to him, if he even remembered it...
Having that done, the demon went back into the surgery room, finding Alruna to be awake. A soft smile played on his lips, as he stepped closer and looked down at her. "Feeling alright?"
... Fear me for what I may become."

Alruna Castillo
Come here darling...
Alruna leaned into his chest, feeling his warmth. One of the moment she treasured, simply being in the man's embrace. A strong demon as well, and one of the things Alruna admired about him. She could tell that he was trying to pin point the doctor using his abilities, rather then acting like a normal man and ask where one was. Letting out a small chuckle, the succubus looked up at his face. Just about an hour or so ago he tried to kill himself, and now he wanted to take care of her over anything. The smiles from the demon kept her from realizing the pain on her side. As the young demon had found a doctor, he bluntly looked at the door and it opened. Such potential for the man, yet he despised it. An older man sat in the room, as almost if he was a patient himself. Zachariah called the man out on the lie of the doctor not being able to work. Even though the man felt nervous the entire time from his words, Zachariah seemed as if he went inside the doctor's head. Not surprising, the poor man looked like he would collapse before the two demons. Instead, he urged the succubus to the surgery room. A chill ran down her spine. She didn't know if she could trust the man to heal her wounds. For all she knew he could infect them and make them and make it worse. A familiar voice boomed inside her head, reassuring the succubus that she would be alright. She smiled softly at Zachariah. The doctor immediately put her under sleep, sending her into a dream.
The fight had been long, Alruna wasn't sure if the two demons would make it out alive. They had been tricked, the client asked them to assassinate a simple human. That 'simple' human turned out to be an angel. A quite powerful one, too. Alruna had managed to do some damage to the angel, but took hits as well. Since Zachariah wasn't as experienced as her, he only managed to merely scratch the angel. The angel boast loudly, "Be gone, you foul demons! I shall rid the mortal world of you all." As he boasted, he sent an attack at Zachariah, who seemed to only be paying attention to just his words. Alruna took notice of it, but it was the last seconds before the impact. She couldn't block properly, but instead threw herself in front of Zachariah. The young demon screamed at her as he saw the sword impale her lower stomach. She looked back, giving him a faint smile before collapsing and becoming unconscious. His eyes started to glow crimson red. The angel backed up, fearing what the demon would do next. Zachariah's body was set a flame, and he directed as much fire as he could towards the angel. He showed no mercy, for the angel burned directly into ashes. Zach picked up Alruna's fragile body, putting his ear to her chest. A faint, but distinctive beat came from her chest. Andras came from the shadows. As soon as he heard word of the angel, he tracked the two demons down. His facial expression hardened as he saw Alruna in Zachariah's arms. "Follow me, we will be able to keep her alive," he said, turning to the direction from which they had came from.
They had taken her body to the castle and into the infirmary, and picked up a doctor on the way. The doctor managed to close her wounds, still she laid unconscious. Zachariah never left her side, he always sat on the opposite side of the room, his face in his hands. The poor demon took the blame for letting her get injured, and cried in shame for the first day. He never left the room, barely ate, and stayed up till his body dragged him into sleep. Little Lilium brought food for him, checking to see if Alruna had woken up. She stirred in her sleep, but never once opened her deep blue eyes.
A week had passed, Zachariah thinned down. The line of his ribs showed through his chest. The succubus woke up with a gasp, and Zachariah fell out of his chair. His face flushed red in embarrassment, but soon hardened as he looked at Alruna, realizing she truly was awake. Her wound had healed for the most part, and the maids kept her well fed through forcing the food down her throat. Zachariah gave her a sorrowful look, "I'm sorry Alruna...I failed..." The succubus widened her eyes, remembering what had happened. She shook her head, denying what he had said. "No it's not your fault, the client had all intentions of killing us and will be eliminated." The couple comforted each other in the hospital bed. His warmth made the succubus fall into sleep in his warm embrace.
The doctor returned a day later to check in on her condition. His facial expression hardened as he finished examining her stomach. "My apologies Miss, but you are no longer able to be with child...." Alruna's face was emotionless, devastated by the news. The couple had been just married, and planned on having a child. She looked to Zachariah, sharing the same feeling of distraught....
The succubus awoke with a gasp of air, sitting up straight on the bed. Her eyes widened in fear. A tear had fallen from her eye, feeling so confused of what had gone inside of her head. Was it simply a dream, or was it another memory from her past? She couldn't tell, the dream felt so real to her. Zachariah entered the room with the same, warm smile. Alruna held her hand to her head, feeling a bit warm. He asked of her health, and she looked up at him. "Yeah I suppose..just had another memory..." She wouldn't mind if Zachariah peeked into the head of hers. It explained why they were so torn for not being able to have children. The fear of her current wound doing the same damage to her again made her shiver. Zachariah never forgave himself that day. Sighing, she looked up to Zach with a bit of a smile on her face. " You're welcome to look. Any memory of mine that involves us is yours to see...." The succubus wouldn't challenge standing, so she just sat there, taking in what had gone inside her head.
....For I will pleasure your lustful desires.

Zachariah "Zach" Altstadt
"Do not fear me for who I am...
Zachariah's smile quickly became a frown, upon seeing the way Alruna held her head in pain, and denied being completely okay. It was another memory that had rattled her, perhaps one worse than the last... After finding out about losing her the first time, he wasn't sure he truly wanted to know what this memory was of. But then again, it would be nice to see what things were like in his old life. "What's the harm in it?" He mused quietly to himself, before stepping closer to the woman and gently holding her hand. His eyes began to glow red, but he closed them, focusing on searching her mind for the past...
There was a battle of some sort, this time the memory was hazy and unclear to Zachariah, as if his mind itself was trying to keep him from it. But he ignored that subtle warning, watching as the fight against a very powerful angel played back in his head. The voices were distorted, enough so that he could barely recognize them as theirs... His grip on Alruna's hand became a bit shaky, as the memory came to the point of her impalement, and then his burst of flame. The angel was left a pile of ash, but Alruna seemed in a coma. She was alive but hanging by a thread, her heartbeat frail and slow... It was Andras who came and showed him the way to an infirmary.
It was now, the perilous week of waiting and hoping, that Zachariah began to back out of the memory. He knew that Alruna would survive, but seeing himself go through such depression, such misery for the succubus... He could practically feel the famish and longing in those long moments. His eyes opened, he couldn't keep watching. But he listened to the faded, echoing verse.
I'm sorry Alruna... I failed... No, it's not your fault, the client had all intentions of killing us and will be eliminated. My apologies Miss, but you are no longer able to be with child....
And it was over. He pulled his hand away from hers, frowning deeply at the visions, the voices. All because of his weakness, his hatred of power, the poor woman couldn't bear children. Even now he could see that it was all his fault, that her grief was his causing. And it made him feel even more a monster than he already had thought...
"I'm sorry, Alruna, for that loss." He finally murmured, sighing slightly and looking away. The guilt ate at his heart and conscience. Perhaps she had once again lost the ability to birth children? No no, he wouldn't let it happen. He must take better care of her, be more careful in this life. Even if he didn't plan on settling down with her anytime soon... to take away the ability to be a mother, to feel a child growing in one's womb. It was torture, wrong. And, heck, if she found a better demon somewhere, surely they would want children. This was for her sake entirely.
"Are you... do you think you can... bear children?" He asked after a moment, looking at her with a bit of concern. He only hoped it didn't come off sounding like he wished to impregnate the woman.
... Fear me for what I may become."
