The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Wait, she did what?" Jian replied, raising a brow. "... I'd normally ask how the hell that happened, but it is Shadow." He grimaced. "... I'm a bit worried. She seemed unnaturally forgiving, especially when she knows your intentions. I wonder if she's planning something."

"I don't know. I think it's kind of a game for her. Well, I'll play too. See how long we can keep things going" Damien said with a small smirk.

Jian nodded. "It seems you like you're certainly enjoying yourself." He leaned against his hand as he looked at Damien, but suddenly perked up. "Damien, what is that?" Jian asked. "Under your collar. My left. Is that... a transmitter?"

Damien blinked, then turned up his collar to look. "Why that scheming little..." he started.

"Ugg..." Jian muttered, rubbing his temples. "Perhaps you should go 'return' it to her." He suggested.

Damien took the little machine off and looked at it. "Well, I guess I will. Enjoy your pizza" the Absolute Leader said, then stormed out of Jian's office.

Jian said nothing, watching as Damien stormed out of the office. "... This won't end well..." he muttered to himself.

Damien went back to his office and took out the cell phone he used to communicate with Shadow. He then called her number. He had a few words for her.

"Hey, this is Shadow? How are you doing?" Shadow began. "I'm sorry, but I'm busy right now. Please leave your name and message and I'll get back to you as soon as I feel like it." The voice mail stated.

((Shadow has one of those evil voice mails where you think it's actually her, but it's not. xd ... my brother had one of those for a while. It got annoying. >.< ))

Damien was about to say something before he realised it was a recording asking to leave a message. He rolled his eyes. "Hello, Shadow. I found that little transmitter you placed on me. What were you planning on doing with that? You certainly are a little schemer, but unfortunately this time it didn't work for you" the Absolute Leader said with a calm, but seething tone. "Now, do you plan on picking it up, or should I just smash it?"

Suddenly the phone picked up. "Hey Damien!" Shadow began sweetly. "Something wrong with the pizza?"

"Nope. Nope. Pizza was fine. I did find this little transmitter thing on my shirt though. Care to explain?" Damien asked.

"Well, I was a little late too the phone cause I happen to be listening to you on my way out of your place, and considering what you said, do I really need to?" Shadow asked. "People trust me. You trust me. That's how I make money. But I'm not stupid and as much as I like you, I don't trust you." She told him, looking at her nails as she exited the building and began walking down the street.

Damien chuckled. "Well, you certainly are the careful one, aren't you? So what exactly have you heard?" he asked.

"That you have a giant secret crush on me!" She replied, laughing. She wanted to make him squirm a bit before she actually told him.
